We had to put our phones in a locking yondr case, but it was so worth it. You really do enjoy the show more
Yeah, I do know the rule and its great idea for me. Ive been to some concerts and there were always a lot of people recording the whole show instead of enjoying it while i was never using mine

Jack will be forever be my favorite artist of all time. Such a legend. I've had privilege of seeing him live 3x. 1x The White Stripes 1x The Raconteurs, and last Friday. I FLIPPED my lid when he played Carolina Drama (pretty sure he saw/heard me flipping and screaming at first subtle guitar riff only 15 ppl deep in crowd and I'm a tower, no one around me had my level of hype, I was the only person jumping at peak of the song within the blue lights up front) I ALWAYS had an emotional weird connection with that song. I was shocked to hear it live the first time with Raconteurs, as it's such a deep cut, but even more shocked that it's one he chose to do live solo. My life is complete. Can't wait to do it again next Friday! Hoping for a little Ball & Biscuit, but he could play Justin Beiber covers all night and I'd probably still be amazed (no hate on Justin 😂)! I love everything about his performance style, lack of set list, most of all NO PHONES. Thank you, Jack, for your creativity. Your music will forever move my soul.😊 Did I mention I'm a red head? 😉💕

It's such a hard album to perform live as he himself told in a talkshow, yet he's doing a good job

I hope you get the chance to see him live. I missed an opportunity to see him with Meg, and was absolutely gutted. I finally saw him 6 years ago in Memphis for his first solo album, and it's still one of the best shows I've seen.

I'm in the same position but I discovered him in the movie cold mountain. I started with his folk stuff then hit the rock! He's awesome I love everything he does!
Angel Tunstall I had no idea who he was in Cold Mountain. I loved the music, but never knew who did it. I’ll have to give the soundtrack a listen. One thing I love about him is his eclectic music. I love all kinds of music, from 50’s rock to bluegrass to country to hard rock. His latest album has some of everything, and I listen to it over and over! (See what I did there?). But seriously, if I could see him live, especially in a smaller venue, I think I would be the happiest woman on earth! I want that so badly I can almost taste it! I wish you luck in your wish to see him!

seeing this live is better than watching this video, even though it is very well filmed. Singing “over and over” with the crowd is a great way to open. I am a bit biased as I was raised on his music, but oh my Lord he is amazing (and I could watch Carla playing all day)

Had to watch this again today. So hyped for Friday. Also PSA to people/ "fans" bashing tour reviews on ticketmaster: Jack doesn't use a setlist. Jack reads his crowd. IT'S QUITE CLEAR SHOW IS PHONE FREE and yours will be locked up. This is a special statement to all those complaining about lack of "Seven Nation Army" on certain tour stops: It is his number one hit song, but it doesn't make you any more of a fan because you're butt hurt he didn't play it. If that's your favorite song, awesome, you'll hear it several times on every rock and classic rock station/playlist for decades. Most fans, the fans that know almost every lyric, and riff, piano note, drum beat etc to everything from White Stripes to Dead Weather are THRILLED, not because we don't also appreciate his number one hit, but because the lack of Seven Nation Army made room for a different song we'd NEVER hear mainstream. So have several seats, preferably in the back row, where there's no chance he'll notice your lack of hype for a deeper cut track and be grateful you saw this legend in the flesh and witnessed his genius live. Thank you.

Saw this show in Houston and was blown away, but I wish someone was assigned to recording the show seeing as how no cellphones were allowed and all. I'd love to watch that show back and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Watch it on this channel and give it views Everybody wins.
