Drummer beating those drums like they owe him money!
🤣
Daru jones! Worked with the dude, absolute killer on the drums with a unique setup. Humble too!
Dude is vibing hard! Love it!!!
Yes Mon!
When your against two twin reverb amplifiers I’m pretty sure it’s the only way to be heard at all lol
This is what rock is supposed to be, messy, loud, chaotic and a whole lotta soul.
Amen to that
Sounds like the story of my life , lol
This is like the old band practice days when there’s no mics on the amps and drums. Just everybody competing for batshit crazy volume.
aka fun?
Sure does! Usually the drummer would win depending on the amps the bass and guitar player had at that time too. Lol.
Isn’t that how it should be. That’s why I traded my AC4 for a Marshall
Fuck yeah. Those were the days
@patton303 it sounded better when it sounded bad. I played too.
It must be supercool to be jack white!
+mariorossipuzza made my day
.......for reals
mariorossipuzza agreed 1,0000000000000,000999090909090999,000000000'e times
Kinda
Right he’s soo damn cool! He set the bar for really cool
That drummer is bad ass
Absolutely legit rocker. Not many left
Wonder how many people are actually listening to this amazingly raw music as opposed to just filming it.
how would you watch it?
Fortunately for us u can do both now;)
excatly - this is just a show for video ... souds good but look there is a slide guitarist and bass killing it ... not all Jack
The fact the mixer is sitting on a stack of tires is awesome!
Plus sorting out the mic 🎤 on the fly....what a vibe!!!
And not plugged in
Daru (drums) was waaaaay to present. The beauty of Meg White.
This was at a tire store on Colfax Ave in Lakewood, right outside Denver. He was playing at Red Rocks that night and people were notified via his web site. Five miles from my house and I missed it.
That was some transcendent shit right there. Amen amen!
these same three dudes were on SNL a couple of weeks back
They duking killed it. I got some serious Goose bumps. Even downloaded the thing.
Jack always plays with such passion
Drummer was killing it!
As a consummate pro performer, Jack skillfully continues without letting the annoyance of the mic not working initially affect his performance. Bravo, the man's a living legend... I on the other hand would like to just vent my personal frustration about it on Jack's behalf... AAAAAAGH! F***ING MIC'S NOT WORKING! FOR F*** SAKE MAN! WHO DID THE F***ING SOUND CHECK?! OF ALL THE F***ING THINGS TO HAPPEN! YOU GOTTA BE F***ING KIDDING ME MAAAN! ... Haahh, feel better now and all is right with the world again.
Jack is built out of 100% guitar player, stage charisma.
Thank you Jack White for keeping Rock alive and exciting!
It’s exactly this kind of gig that will do it. Nothing can replace the live show and especially when it’s up close on the street like this!
Leave it to JW to innovate constantly!
And second, that’s a cool guitar! 🎸
And of course, this was before the damn pandemic and hopefully, we’ll get back to live shows soon!
👏🏻😎🎸
The happiness this guy brings just makes your heart race
not 1 person standing there has ever heard this song lol
Haha, I thought the same till I saw one chick mouthing it
1:13 the standing lady wearing blue just beside red girl
Sure as hell bet they won't forget it tho! Cheers mate!!!
Not sure how you would determine that...
I absolutely love this tune, by far the best musician arround right now. He does impromptu gigs every now and again. I was proper gutted I miss him at 3rd man records when he came to the UK.
Saw him live in 2014. He had the same drummer and one of the guitarists. It was on of the best shows I've ever seen in my life. My first festival, my first headliner, and my first concert other than small bar gigs. It was amazing!
In Houston maybe?
What a great memory
I just stumbled upon this video. I didn’t deserve to. Must have been electric live.
Nice to see the majority of people enjoying the experience and not trying to watch it through their phone camera while recording.
I swear....that OPEN sign is pulsing along with the music!!!! Ok...maybe i'm high.....
Vibe
The hardest working sign in the music business.
LoL!
🤔....BOTH. 👍
This was a cool street show!
Imagine seeing this up close!
Great appearance!
Freakin awesome....true to the core... One of my favorites of the day . .. this guy keeps the spirit alive ,,..rock on brother ...
I doubt any one got fired, Jack has admitted he likes mistakes he likes having a battle and a struggle on stage, he does it purposely sometimes, its real not some mega rehearsed robotic same shit everytime show, like most do
The most hipster comment I’ve ever heard... yeah bands that rehearse suck.
@@clemdog76 stop projecting dude. The show is cool. Mistakes and unrehersed music kicks walls in. Punk wouldn't be here if music couldn't be raw and gritty.
@@yellowbelly7863 in my day when the general population had common sense, we musicians referred to it as ‘improvised’ music not ‘unrehearsed’. That’s where there is a common core of the song that is REHEARSED but left open for players to express themselves freely on the fly. No such artists at the caliber of Jack White just jams unrehearsed... hipster bs.
@@clemdog76 ever heard of steely dan noob?
@@datukaruma1563 Jeff Skunk Baxter… too. I used to own a signature Epi.
the blue Jack doesn't have that intensity of the Red one
HAHAHA yeah i totally prefer red jack. And so do my ovaries.
why did he have to take the blue pill :/ hehe
Haajajaja. Indeed
copper jack is kinda in between the red and the blue one
@@noodel3374 ehh i would put copper jack below blue jack but thats just my opinion
his energy was bummed in this performance by the failing electronics
The mandolin really makes this song.
lol
I love the drumming in this version, lots of swing
What a pro, overcomes the mic issue
this is real band love it.. performing live and having natural skill is the important thing than anything ;)
He is so talented...absolutly love #JackWhite
Still missing Meg... Anyway, the important thing is that a grammy-award, top list artist like Jack White is a real artist. I do not maen it because he plays blues with no-computers involved, through that is right, I refer to the fact that a guy who sells a lot and can move masses to stadiums, does a show in Denver in the very street. No shite, no ticket selling, no publicity, no fooling around. The ones who were there, are very lucky. RESPECT for Jack White, still raw and powerfull. I love his idea of music.
David Antolinez Except for the fact that Meg was just there? He is exceptional around any other musician and solo. Meg was sub par at best and that’s only because Jack taught her basic rhythmic blues to keep a beat (and let’s be honest, she wasn’t great at that). I get your point though. I’m not knocking you by any means. I miss “The White Stripes”. I’m also glad Jack had a chance to evolve and not become “The White Stripes” only. Please don’t take this the wrong way!
Making music without a computer isn't some badge of honor. Jack relies on all kinds of analog tricks with his guitars and pedals to get a certain kind of sound. Other musicians use synthesizers and DAW's to do the same thing. It's all skill, it's all creativity, they are all artists.
@@InverseAgonist
you’re only a true musician when all the electricity dies
That’s why ghosts wail and the living scream in fear.
@@user-jv7gr1jb3r ain’t that the truth. It’s not some weird magic that an acoustic guitar and a tambourine can make a better jam than every synth and pedal known to man. It’s about soul and additude, passion and talent, and most of all, true love for the art
I saw Jack white once at this old theater in Louisiana for 30 bucks. A steal in my opinion. No phones allowed. It was an old school venue that had some rock and roll historical significance that he wanted to honor by playing there and keeping attendance alive. He's a class act.
❤💛💚 the prowess on those bleeding strings!!!
How cool is Jack White !
Very
He just pulls off cool better than anyone.
I wouldn’t go that far 😂
Seriously, thank you for this.
Dude, I'm so happy to live in the same time as mister White, those B shows looks OUTSTANDING, thank you my friend for those upload!
Awesome performance!
Omg in the street!! Amazing Jacky luv him
Amazing!! Well done!
My favorite artist for sure
I really like how the white buttons on Jack's shirt set off the blue just amazing
good point
Love it!
We need this.
used to live on the mighty Colfax ave by the blue bunny. stomped up and down there . walked right by this tire store . could not drive no car. I never dreamed JW would play there. but it makes sense now . tires are for the most part round. and this performance at this tire store is a "revolution" metaphorical speaking. pure absolutely genius.
Thank you so much for this! I envy you!!!
Hey great video and sound quality man!!thnx a bunch :D
just completely badass.
2021 glad I found this.
Jack's got so much damn style it's insane. Those SHOES!
Jack White actually is one of the best musicians of our time and it´s not even me saying that but guys like Jimmy Page and many more.
His Technical guitar skills are just ok, and that shows its not all about technical skills. It’s more about musicianship, creativity, edge, improv, and he’s got it!!!!!!! This is just 12 bar blues. But way more interesting than almost
anything I’ve heard!
lol
Anton Newcombe tho
Agree
Who's this Jimmy Page fellow to whom you allude? Is his opinion about the rock music genre and contemporary musicians more important than mine?
I think not. And since you have with your comment solicited my judgment on the issue of Jack White's ability relative to other people in the musicmaking business, I have a few definitive things to say.
But I shall keep them to myself. You shouldve come to me first for guidance instead of that random Page fellow.
Oh man, people love him!
great musician. greetings from COLOMBIA
great quality - thanks for posting. this is by far my favorite Jack White tune. best thing about this song are the subtle differences every time he plays it live - as he does with all his live performance. new JW album is great. both bands are great - but prefer the all girl band. that drummer is sick! see if you can find the song from 9/30/12 show to see what i mean. rock on Jack white! please keep the good stuff coming!
genius. pure pure musical genius
Haha everyones being douche bags to the people with cameras... How do you think this video got here for us to enjoy.
All the douchebags are all parrots and sheep. "Jack doesnt like cameras so we dont either!!" Thank god my Mother gave me the 'if he told you to junp off a bridge...' speech when I was a kid. :)
OK for those of us not at the event. Those at the event should actually be at the event
One of the best garage bands ever
We need more Garage Rock. Long live The Sonics!
Music is the medicine for the soul.
sweet!
Jack is cool and his sister rock the drums 1000% so them together is dynamite.so rock forever and ever. Love jimmy
Come to Niceville FL. This town is in dire need of art.
Woooooooooow!!!!!!
What a small private show I wish I was there
Last of the great rock stars!
maaan he got the coolest guitars ...
Drummer was having the time of his life !
that fact that he even does these shows is awesome he should just do some more of em in australia ! haha
Raw real music ...how it should be .. .pure talent
God that man can rock
That drummer!
Thank you!!! Jack. WHITE. Imagine a Live Wiyh.... J. HENDRIX???!!!!
but we wouldn't have videos like this if there weren't these guys. we should thank them actually! (anyway when i'm going to a concert i'm just enjoying the show but still... someone has to tape it for others to see it here)
Thats some SOUL!
Im gonna miss this for the rest of my life while I'm old and watching concerts from inside plastic boxes
A drummer performed a concert and Jack White showed up.
Probably end up a sacrifice for all of his hard work, and his fifteen minutes of fame. Good riddance, and bye bye. Goes for you as well jackie boy. Your time will be here soon, and by the numbers you will go. Good riddance to you as well. See ya, definitely would not want to be ya.
@@brianjoseph2303 whats with you?
@Brian Joseph did you just insult jack white?
Brian Joseph human behaviour troubles me- if I can decipher what that means, I still just don’t know why those thoughts appear in people’s heads to write things like that- it’s hardly critical, it’s just an unjustified unnecessarily pessimistic slur
This comment is definitely not gay at all
Perfect imperfection
best live version ever
Plus the addition of a stack of tires to the band just brings something extra!
love that JAck's guayavera
I love that girl in the back singing with jack :)
That’s a great drummer
Right! And it looks like he needed a nap after that!
🖤💙
🔥
These people are standing in front of a pure genius and they choose to look at him and experience the music through a lense. Madness
it's nice to see a rock star not act all pissy when technical issues happen
BRILLIANT - can you upload some more tracks??
Dang
check that sound my dear it's amazing
awesome.....
Favorite 🤗😎😅Jack White.. Best music and terrific guy
To each his own.
Colfax is the longest commercially zoned street in the US; from Golden to Aurora via downtown Denver.
I can now go to bed. I just learned something. Thanks!
how do you even find out about these secret shows? social media?
Dan Howard luck.
JACK THE WHITE !
MAKE IT Gretsch custom electromatic double cut solid body.

Ha, I was right in front of you. My head made a cameo...
That's one beautifully crazy drummer....pure emotions
