Usually when big-name musicians make songs specifically for big corporations, it’s seen as a “marketing ploy” or “cash grab,” and it usually loses the heart of what the consumers want out of said company. However, the Pokémon company proves that they can still give the same joy and childlike wonder of playing the games with these types of videos! From “Acacia” by Bump of Chicken (which I highly recommend you check out if you haven’t already), to this amazing song, they seem to know how to capture the nostalgia!❤

The pokemon mewtwo strikes back had more emotion because the pokemon weren't battling, but actually fighting. And showed ash being killed/turned to stone from a pokemon attack. I think they diverted from this dark movies around 4 or 5.
I think there was also the implication that Mewtwo used his Psychic powers to disable all the moves of every Pokémon present. Meaning all they could do was 'struggle', to hurt the target but themselves as well, until they physically couldn't take any more.
This hit right in the nostalgic feels! I still remember when I Saw the first movie in theaters and gosh what a feeling it was… the same with my very first Pokemon game which was Yellow as a Christmas present, damn that game took me away from everything bad in my life, and the same with the second movie… just seeing it on Big screen… that feeling was brought back by Ed and I cry Everytime I hear it now.🙏🏻 As always, amazing reaction. 🔥

Typhlosoin stand as far as it being the best fire starter. For me Blastoise has always been my favorite, but typhlosion would be 2nd favorite. I don't know why, but I just had to listen to this song and i noticed that the video was 2 months old. I didn't even know he made a video for it. I just knew it was going to be in scarlet & violet. Last year in November there was an event in pokemon go that they collaborate with Ed on featuring water type pokemon because that is what his favorite starter pokemon was the water type
as asian, I'm not good at studying, can only play game on weekends for 2 hours or so, I remember sneaking up and play my gameboy, playing pokemon ruby, so happy, train my pokemon, catching new one, all the troubles were just gone at the moment, this song makes me cry

Love Crystal, but Blue will always be my favorite- long story short, no game systems growing up, but cousins had them & the only one he'd let us play was Blue, so it was my only immersion to that world until I got older and played the others. Best Pokémon is Wartortle followed closely by Evee. 1st Gen is the best Gen!😉
