Both sides played dirty. Didn't actually spend the £10 on propper shopping to produce a burger, and £100 went over budget. But this is absolutely bloody good TV! Thanks.
I find your comment ironic, referencing "wanky like harrods" yet in the same sentence saying something wanky yourself. you spat out your drink would have read better
Not yet but the Labour government are working hard on increasing inflation so that everyone can pay £3.50 as that proves diversity, equity and inclusion. @@joecaple4552
I'm a one pattie man all he way. A good burger is never challenging to bite into, and has a great balance of bun, pattie and condiments. Before compacting, the pattie should be no more than half the thickness of the bun, condiments should be no more than half the thickness of the pattie. And that's pushing it. Why waste two perfectly good burger patties? Just make two burgers.
Besssssst! Love how one chef bought all the expensive good tasting stuff and the other chef hustled for free samples and ingredients! Absolute legends..... It was great to see how both chefs think differently. Bring on more such videos ❤
A great show guys. Superb burgers either way. You’re top of your game and as a casual observer the only thing I would offer a reminder of is that my fave chef Anthony Bourdain maintained that a burger should always be able to be eaten whilst holding in one hand. Top notch entertainment though and I’d have one of yours every day of the week 😀
What I like about you guys is that you own 2~3 high-end restaurants, but are nice enough to still enjoy some cheap fast food. Poor Jack, had to work hard to make a burger with such a small budget lol. I follow the rule, "fewer means more". I like my burger with patty, cheese, bacon, some onion, sauce and that is pretty much it. Too much more and I can't distinguish flavor. Also, if I can't bite all the layers, I don't like the burger.
I really enjoyed this challenge - I grew up on homemade burgers and still prefer a good quality burger but simply won't pay $$$ if I don't think it justifies the cost.
This was brilliant. So many surprises. Supernova is boring and won't play ball. Will is an absolute hustler. Will can read Jack's mind. Jack is the best kind of sore loser.
Could you make a video where you try to make the most environmentally friendly burger? Including reusing things discarded from cooking other dishes? Fermenting stuff etc.? Couse this challenge has been done over and over. I look to you to expand my horizon ;) Brilliant video tho!
im an intl viewer and ive been here since 100k subs.. as your content becomes more exciting, i wish there were English subtitles cause i cant understand the accent half the time
I have a burger of the month at the kitchen I run that has a bone marrow and foie gras "brioche" bun that we bake in house, and it slaps! Also includes a 10z chuck and brisket burger, hot honey smoked bacon, shiraz pickled shallots, white truffle and black pepper aioli
You brought up my biggest hate with modern burgers (I guess gourmet burgers, is what you called it): If it doesn't fit in your mouth, if you can't even pick it up, if it needs fucking SCAFFOLDING, it's not a good burger.
i think the thing with the big money burgers is , they do too much at once. do a basic burger with high quality stuff and then ONE very special thing like truffle or foie gras.
Free stuff is cheating! Do it again, but you have to buy everything. I would so love to get to your restaurant one day, but i'll pass on the foie gras burger😂
@@WizzWins why? well because im giving my view as a consumer on their channel which is directly connected to their resturant channel, doing a food challenge about 2 burgers of what consumers would gain.... which is actually what was described near the end. sooo, kindly take that high horse with you and sod off else where.
@@natbarron it was an enjoyable watch but I think it would have been better if he spent the £10 in shops. Their channel is all about showing recipes & helping cooks improve. Would have been nice to have seen him make a great burger for a tenner & pick up pointers along the way. You get me?
what is the point of a challenge based on how to make money stretch when you're basically a beggar? is the lesson from this that good cooking can be achieved on a budget, or that we should all just go around blagging food off people? or is it that if you have a camera, you can get sh*t for free in london that someone in dire need of food or shelter would not get a look in for?
Great content and very entertaining, will checkout a couple of those spots. If you are ever in Hitchin Hertfordshire checkout Caws Burger, consistently great and good value.
Both sides played dirty. Didn't actually spend the £10 on propper shopping to produce a burger, and £100 went over budget. But this is absolutely bloody good TV! Thanks.
Better than actual TV tbh
"Somewhere Wanky Like Harrods" made me spit out my Lapsang Souchong.
next scene: "We're here at Harrods....." 😆😆😆
fave line ever !
I dropped my monocle right into my brandy when they cut to him in Harrods.🤣
I find your comment ironic, referencing "wanky like harrods" yet in the same sentence saying something wanky yourself. you spat out your drink would have read better
please keep making this style of video please, these lil competitions between you two is a great watch
The best food channel bar none. Two very down to earth guys and brilliant variety with the content. Keep at it
Jack: £100 budget
Harrods: Yeah we'll take all of that, thanks
"You'll need to wash some dishes in the back for us as well though."
He's absolutely fuming 😂😂
Seething through that smile
“It’s just a burger”😂
Jack is RAGING 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"My salad - bacon". Get after it!
Well done gentlemen! Please continue these 'competitions".
More of this series for everything!!! Steak dinner, spaghetti, grilled cheese, hotdogs, sausage roll?, etc...
A tomato for 3.50 is absolutely wild
Standard out of season produce. That tomato looked anemic at best
@@siiiiiiiiiimo so happy I don't live in London
@@zangrat We don't all buy veg from harrods, thats not the general price of them here hahaha

Harrods are takin the piss with their pricing jeez Louise!
3,50 pounds for a ONE FREAKING TOMATO???😱😱😱😱
Will just earned his US citizenship with that burger. Dude understands the American Cheeseburger. 😂
what do they feed those tomatoes? crazy price
This one was one of your guys' best videos
Will's burger is impressive! Glad to know Neat Burger's potato bun, Neal's Yard Dairy cheese and Black Bear Burger's patty

Love the competition and style of the video keep making more like this 😂🤞
Why the fuck didnt he go to get a burger bun from a proper bakery when he had 100 quid to spend?
Scrambling around getting key ingredients with £4 left 😂

I loved the adventure and the tour around Harrods 🎉
Fucking gold. You both are hilarious
Jack definitely won🍔🍟

The £100 burger looking like a proper scooby snack 😂

Got to go with Will's classless dirtier burger and no flipping brioche. ;)
Three fifty for a tomato! 🥴🥴🤣🤣🤣😎👊
Jack is thinking, we've got to raise our prices. ;)
Next Ultimate pizza challenge

£3.50 for 1 tomato? Na London is taking the piss big-time 😂
That's because it's Harrods.
Loved the bit about the "cheese samples" - I do that too
Show the £5 burger!
Would love a POV of the Saucier at Fallow

Mate at the end was proper butthurt as well lol
Nothing beats pocket cheese
Wait a minute. Last time I went to harrods security made me wear my backpack on my chest.
You need a cartoon mouth for modern burgers.
That tomato was stupid. What the hell 3.55.
Burgers looked godly though.
Been watching this channel for ages, wish they did halal options
Sometimes less is more with burgers IMO

Love this channel, both you're both wrong. The posh burger had too much nonsense in it, and the regular burger didn't have any salad in it.
does someone call Gordon Ramsay a wanker at 8:31 ?? hahahaha
Yum I want to try black bear burger!!!
£3:50 for a tomato is fucken madness

sorry, but i personally cant understand why any restaurant /fastfood place, serves burgers that are pilled higher than the eiffel tower.
Its Instagram food , not practical at all.
It’s literally a fun challenge between friends, why are you being a miserable git

Bacon on the green board chef, tut tut
£3.50 for a tomato... wtf?
I think this video gives us permission to go to Fallow and ask them to give us random stuff for free
How dare you put raw tomato in a burger

Mayo on burgers is some real American BS, if it needs it then it´s a crap burger to start with.
