My sand filter doesn't have a setting called "Waste" (like most), though it does have a setting called "Drain" (which has a small whirlpool icon on it). I'm assuming that's my waste setting?

Hello, I got small pool with small light blue mosaic inside. I can get clear water in the pool but the water inside the filter gets light blue colour same as the mosaic after 8 hour filtering. PH and Clorum normal and using algicide. Can you tell me the cause. Can it be the mosaic tearing apart in dust particles? Or is there any kind of algae that has light blue colour?ThanksJorge Dias
