Sly is one of my favourite video game series of all time, no doubt. I really wanted to see a film adaptation of the series at first, but after what happened with the Ratchet and Clank movie and how bad that was, I'd rather not see Sly go down that road.

This game nay this trilogy nay this QUADRILOGY was my childhood and I love sly 1 through theives in time with an unbreakable passion, these games were so memorable to me and everytime I pick up my old ps2 copies or the HD remake for my PS3 I get a nostalgia high every time
Yeah... I wouldn't hold my breath for the movie if were you. Last I heard it was cancelled but there are talks about making a tv series instead which makes me very happy as I have been dreaming about that from the very beginning.

Revenger 210 if i remember correctly it was in last year or early this year. Tv series was announced couple of months ago (i guess...i'm sometimes bad at remembering things, and i'm too lazy to look for it from internet.)
I remember having Sly Racoon on a demo disc, it's the same one with Devil May Cry and the Jak and Daxter video trailer thingy, iirc. I think Sly 2 is the best, but 3 is pretty good as well.

I remember one of my siblings having the first Sly game, as soon as I started playing I loved it, the characters, the story, the gameplay, it's one of my favorite series along with Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, if only Sanzaru would make a sequel to 4 but I doubt that will happen, hopefully the tv series does well, if that's still happening

Fun fact: sly 4 is the first and only game of the series I own. I enjoyed it blind to the rest of the series, that's how good it was. And I did love looking at walkthroughs for the rest of the games too, but not this one. When there's a game i REALLY enjoy, I play with no walkthroughs. That outta tell you how much Thieves in Time affected me, I bloody love it!
(Also, weird thing, im not British, so I have no idea why I just used "bloody"... Idk guess I just waned to try it?)
And I absolutely despise Sly 4 myself. Gave it two shots, abandoned it both times. The game compared to the originals is... smooth. Too smooth. Smooth to the point it's goddamn slow. It's unplayable to me.
I know it's been a year ago but I highly recommend sly 1 through 3 whenever the chance pops up for you

Wow, the Sly manuals are way different there. We had little mini Thevius Raccoonus books for our manuals. Charming, but not as interactive.

When you load up Sly 4 on the Vita, you can download your PS3 save and all your trophies immediately pop on the Vita so you can literally get 2 Platinums with one playthrough. You can also use your Vita as a second screen for your PS3 that highlights collectables, chews through battery though

But seriously great video. I had the same experience with sly cooper. I played the demo of i think sly 2 all the time. Didn't even remember anything besides one part. I o my ever found it out watching UA-cam videos of sly cooper and saw the moment I remember from the demo.

My first games was the sly 3, when i was a child i never thought there was a 2nd or 1st one. I realized years later and went on a hunt to find those games. Took me years (did not have internet at the time) to find those. And well i awaited bored as hell the 4th and when it got out, jumped on it, bought it, was a bit disgusted by the art direction and enjoyed the heck out of it (Sly 3 is BAE).

How'd you get those versions of the Sly Cooper manuals? All my Sly games' manuals were basically a miniature version of the Thievious Raccoonus.

I still think the Character Models in Thieves in time could have been better. The Sclera are too big and the characters look wall eyed.
