Great tour of "The Venice of the North" as we Swedes like to call our capital city. Regarding the statue of king Karl XII in Kungsträdgården, it's colloquially referred to as "A lion surrounded by four pots" (though it's actually four mortars). The statue across the bridge (on Skeppsbron in front of the Royal Castle) of King Gustav III is referred to as "A pot surrounded by four lions" (Hint: Pot is called "Kruka" in Swedish which can also describe a cowardly person, i.e. one not brave enough to take on the Russians...)
