- Bill Baker here..... Please excuse my playing....I'm no longer in a band, I don't practice any songs, I just work on guitars and test them with some riffs. I still remember a few from the past. I'm just taking some time with an amp thats been with me over 30 years, I played just about every gig through it with "Fractured Mirror", an Ace Frehley (KISS) tribute band that played the old NJ Kiss Conventions from 1993-1998 .. I have now SOLD the amp! I don't use it and it lives under a bench. Time will tell...been selling a lot of my past to move to the future. We all grow and move on, something takes us somewhere else in life. Or, your music hero you thought was your friend ghosts you after using you and it makes it real easy to sell the stuff that reminds you of them! It is an awesome amp and now the new owner will have fun with it!!! I'm on to a different "song" now....
My full time work is to make the job easier for those making those songs, by making their guitars right. Making it easier to express themselves without thinking about a problem with their guitar or how it sounds. Thats what I do....call me "The Guitar Man".

Thanks, but thats probably the last you will hear of me playing that stuff. I'd prefer to play and perform something else now. Old country stuff that I like....I just need to take some time and practice it. BB

I do miss the old Ace and those days yes, but that was 30 years ago and life was much different then. And the crazy thing, he lives 10 minutes from me now. He moved into his girlfriends house just up the highway. Yes he is quite different now. I wish I hadn't spent so much time, money, and energy on it all back then but it is what it is and I have been clearing out that stuff over the years. I wouldn't want to be a part of his life now. Why, so I could do his guitar maintenance? No thanks. But it was a fun time. Thanks for watching! BB

Ha ha yeah I know, and it's sad knowing some of the real story because she was a teacher and my friends wife knows her and I hear the truth. She and her husband divorced and she got the house. I guess he has to "behave" now and cant "have a girl in every town" anymore or she'll kick him out. But he's still married to Jeanette so its still all just a bizarre story.....

I haven't played with anyone in years and it sits, so it's kind of an easy decision. As you can see my workshop is a bit full, so it's time to let some things go. BB
Any attenuation? Where was the cab while you filmed? Hiding under the table?

We only did Elvis Week in 2002 for the 25th. I did meet his daughter and she let me try on his TCB!
