Hi Matthew! I've shopped at Temu and was happy with what I got. The best thing about your video 📹? The teaching you shared with us about each tool ❤️! Nice seeing AND hearing you again!
I’ve been buying a load of stuff for resin casting lately from Temu mostly moulds and UV resin and UV lights and I have to say I’ve been pretty impressed with it considering how cheap it is but I’ve t been brave enough to buy tools yet.
Hi mate. Always good to see people review this stuff. I'd thought about a similar router table insert from a cheap site but had no idea if it would be compatible with my router. I guess some things have less tolerance for slight imperfections. I'm yet to try Temu.
Cheers buddy 👊 if you don't need fine precision, this router stuff will work fine, but for better results I'll would go with a bit more expensive one. It's definitely legit and all orders coming pretty fast 😁
Thankyou for your report on Temu items, especially the router plate issues. Ive Bought a few small items from Temu, they will be ok for me, as an 'very' occasional user. Been seriously thinking about buying a router plate and lift, which, for the price and what I would use it for would be adequate for me. Let's be honest the tools on Temu are a long way from being sturdy enough for serious trades people but the cost for the tools those people use are way too much for an occasional d.i.yer . You get what you pay for. The only 'beef' I have against Temu is the deluge of reminders they send me on a daily basis!
I've been thinking about buying a router table plate, and I've watched two videos on the Chinese plates. Both have had bent fences! Guess I'll go for the fenceless one and make my own!
Wondered about ordering a few things from here myself but some people say they never receive what they have paid for, great video thanks for posting from Garry in the UK
I've placed multiple orders, always got what I ordered. Got a great drill guide for drilling holes in pipes, carbide bit set for Dremel, stud finder and lots of other stuff.
I’ve bought some and like you only happy with 50% of them. Coat hooks and drawer pulls are good so are the brass animals. The t track will not fit my table saw.
I got that same router plate but from Amazon. I got another plastic base for my Harbor Freight trim router instead of the more expensive router lift. It's worked well for the few tasks I've used it for, the fence works well too. Where I found it useful is tasks that require two operations with different bits. I can setup the big Bosch router to handle the bigger operation and this trim router for the smaller operation and not have to change the setup. Had a one of part that needed a cove on one edge and a square groove on the other, was able to adjust the depth of each, test fit, adjust depth and cut again over and over until I got the fit I needed without having to change bits and setup for each feature over and over.
The lift is junk I built a router table installed that same setup and every time I turned the router on the lift took off and raised to it's most up most position I did find a place to put a M6 nut (to stop the rise) but adjusting it was a real pain in the tail!
I tried ordering from them a couple days ago using paypal and they still insisted I had to give them my email address before they would complete the transaction...and that ain't happening.
I do like the tongue n groove bits, don't get me wrong, but it's too easy to get them with a 1/2'' shank for just a few dollars more. I lost a finger on my router table so now I'm pretty anal about 'safety' when it comes to that!

Thankyou Matthew for the episode and the information on your goods 👍
You're welcome Ian 🫡

You're welcome Garry, I had the same feeling but as you can see it did arrive on time 👌 cheers from Chatham

How is the actual quality of the tongue and Groove bit?😊
Overall looks OK-ish but tongue bit with double cutter was off center so it's dangerous to use 🤷♂️
@@MatthewMoustache okay thank you :)
I bought a router plate and it is actually very good
It looked like you may have had the router mounted a little off square and that would throw everything off.
Well when i looked closer i found that the lift is assembled incorrectly so that's what caused it, so sorry but that's their fault 🤷♂️
Thanks for doing the video 👌
Not bad, not bad at all. I mean one expects some issues!?!?
I will using again.

I would absolutely not trust that face shield 😮
However I have bought a few things from Temu and the quality has been decent.
In case of impact I wouldn't either 💀 and yes some of the products seems very good 👌

I'm behind you in traffic 😂
Don’t forget that the router plate is just for a trim router.
That's exactly what I used 👍

I was going to buy the router parts but not now.

can you show what you did?
thank you so much
You're welcome 👊😁
thanks for the warning, things going 30,000 rpm can be very dangerous! I pay a little more and go to vevor
There's no jokes with routers 🫣

🙏👏👍💪
OK for the weekend DIYer but not the professional.
I agree with you 😎
