- I don't get the opportunity to go fishing often, but when I do, I fish pretty hard. Got caught in a monsoon. Caught lunch too. The tip of Bolivar can be an amazing spot to fish at times. This was going to be one of those times. The radar was way off, but I made the most of it. Not a lot of fish being caught, but an adventure for sure. Hope you enjoy. God bless. Read your Bible. Talk to your Children. Take them fishing.

Hey man, YOU DID IT!!! 🎣 Hell of a trip...
HAHA thanks man! You already know those cameras don't pick up the craziness on the water accurately lol.
We smacked them Friday on poppin corks with live shrimp. That was the only way they would bite. 😉
Big Murphy! You already know man!
@@hamfishing we are headed to anahuac Saturday to check on the flatties.
Hey, enjoyed the ride. I always look to see if you dropped a video. God bless you too as well. Tight Lines. Not sure if you take your kayak around the houses in the marina, but trout love hanging around them. I like fishing around them. Tight Lines.
Thank you sir! Man, I've only fished inside the marina once, and not for very long. I used to go inside when Butch was the harbor master, but honestly I never caught anything. I just ran across your video of you catching a trout right in the middle. Plan on checking out your other videos too. I've always thought there had to be some good fish in there cause I think it's pretty deep huh? What time of year do you think the trout hang out in there?
@@hamfishing most likely all year long. Yes, it's about 10 to 14 feet deep when you go right into the marina where most of the houses are. And right there is a huge drop off. And the rest is about 5 to 8 feet. Best time is in the morning or cloudy day. Peace. Hope this helps.
2 questions-Was that June 5 because the weather moved in on us and we made it back to the Yacht Basin just before all hell broke loose and can you Wade the pocket on the gulf side of broken bridge? Thanks. Great video. Now following.
Hey thanks so much! No, that was on the 14th. Came out of nowhere. Other than a time or two in Hawaii that's the most sudden and extreme storm I've ever seen. Yes, you can wade that pocket. It's phenomenal. I brought my kayak to fish it that day originally. Look up GG Anglers. Those guys have a couple of videos of them wading it. Thanks for watching and commenting! Tight lines!
@@hamfishing Thank you so much.
What time of year? I’ve fished there a lot and never had luck but such a sexy spot
😂 agreed. It was actually just a couple of weeks ago. I've fished it plenty of times without any specks etc. It's been really good this June from what I've heard. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@hamfishing man i was getting excited, like “okay finally someone catching specks at this bridge.”
And then bam a thunderstorm lol
Where is the Broken bridge located at?
In Bolivar, as soon as you exit the ferry, take the first left and follow the road.
@@rudyhernandez3235 thank you
I'm pretty sure you can even plug "broken bridge " into Google maps and it'll take you right there...
