I'm the same with creation and I have started the path of mixing and mastering as a means to turn audio into the business. Then any music myself is and will be a hobby that will have some element of business but more so like odd freelance projects. Selling a tune for others to use as video background music and then a free resource of music for my own. Family time is the most important thing and currently haver to have a day job myself and don't mind just doing that at all... so pretty much the same. I am so glad they made a Kaoss Plugin as I have loved the Kaoss Pad for creating transitions in beats. The problem with using one for this is you are kind of sacrificing quality, flexibility after it's recorded, and again you'd need multiple to effect multiple signals and so love the plugin. It's not quite a organic but vastly more unlimited in practical use in a full production. Love you using the Ottobit, really want one for making sampling more gritty and old sounding. Hardware I have found always to be much much more fun and enjoyable but a nightmare in complete production lol.
Yeah I hear you about using plugins. I'm starting to like hardware more and more because it forces me to commit to something. With plugins I always find myself going back and tweaking things when I should just be done with something. I haven't checked out the plugin version of the Kaossilator. I need to take a look at that!
Ive never used pedals always been kinda interested but such an amateur and have decided to quit spending $ and be happy with what ive got for a bit haha Also always saw the kp3 as a kinda pedal substitute, what would you say about that? Or i guess how close would that be to how you'd describe the kaoss pad? Also I don't think you're too old to be a pro musician especially like with the talent on display every time you make some music. I think the path there is near impossible but you've definitely got the talent for it imho The glitchy-ness caused by that pedal sounds great too, the night sky adds such a nice atmosphere to it! Real chill demo work too 👌🔥👏
Yeh, I'm in the same boat. Good video and demo. Cheers.
Thanks for this lovely video again! Really enjoyed this one

Three minutes of ego-stroking later and the glitch beats finally begin
