Mr. Stiller. You saved my son's life, and thereby my life. You really did. The Secret of Life of Walter Mitty changed the direction of our lives and thus altered the way we lived. I sincerely thank you for that.
@@vanitayogeshwar5698Even Cable Guy. People weren't sure what to think about Jim Carey in a dramatic role back then, but Stiller nailed it. Always been one of my favorites movies.
Ben's mom went to a Star Trek convention in the 1970s and they asked her to say a few words on the stage, and she was hilarious! She was just an attendee, not a guest. She was so sweet and inspiring. ANN MEARA, my fellow Trekkie!
I wasn't aware that Severance was his project. I'll definitely check it out now. Everyone knows Ben as a comedic actor, but one of the first movies he ever produced was Cable Guy. So much more than a funny movie.
I went to a Star Trek convention in the early to mid 70s in a Manhattan hotel and Ann Meara also attended as a fan. They asked her to come up on the stage to say a few words, and she did, and spoke off the cuff about Star Trek's wonderful message of a great future for humanity. She was hilarious and smart and such a lovely speaker. Ann Meara, my fellow Trekkie!
I remember that Star Trek episode! Stiller was so happy! Love him! I just rewatched Severance S1 E10, & it was just as intense & thrilling as the first time. I can’t wait for S2!!😆
Meh. It started off great but then went flat very quickly. I was waiting so eagerly for this movie to come out and was very disappointed by the end of it. If you've watched the trailer, you've seen 80% of the movie
Ok so... How did Ben Stiller did not yet played some role in some Star Trek show? There are tons of other actors and artists that have already played small roles in it as guests. Heck, even Stacey Abrams, played President of Earth in Discovery...
The fact that the audience is not only indulgent of the ST memorabilia but also excited shows just how far we’ve come. I still expect the dead stares that I’ve always gotten from people.
I held off watching Severance for about a year before I thought that I would give it a go. I thought I would try one episode and see what happened. It takes a couple of episodes to get into it but once you’re in, you’re hooked. It’s one of the best shows on Apple. It’s fairly simple but so well done, and quite scary at times. I’m really looking forward to the new series and I hope for more. It deserves 5 more as a total I think. It’s very good!!
I'm surprised at all the positive comments on here - thank god, it's refreshing to see. But, seriously I'm a big fan of Ben Stiller - like a huge fan ♥Though, I didn't know he lived in LA for 20 years, it's absolutely terrible about the LA fires 😑
I am the guy that came up with Tropic Thunder and Night at the Museum back in the ninties at the Collective unconscious. Not a thank you, not a penny, not even a job to work on either. WHY?
oh wonderful, fantastic, awesome - been hanging out for season 2 - Severance is sooooo good (good? - great - awesome, fantastic!). I so want to know _what_ they are doing on those computers - and then leaving us with the season 1 ending... oh wow!
Ben Stiller for President. He has class and said the right things about the LA fires. Not talking just about his wealthy friends in be early Hills who will lose their big mansions.

Severance is definitely a unique and captivating show! The way it blends psychological thriller with workplace drama is brilliant. What did you think of the ending?
I thought it was very well done. It’s a great show and I’m looking forward to more too. For me it was a slow burn at first, but for all of us who have worked in offices, we can relate and the story is so well written, and scary too.
I wish Paramount were Star Trek fans. Star Trek is supposed to be hopeful, it’s supposed to be fun. We’re supposed to have characters we like put into different circumstances weekly. It’s not supposed to be a depressing, torturous, and boring existential plot dragged out over a season. Section 31 is not Star Fleet. I’m a big fan of Severance though! Hope it continues its greatness.
Of all the wannabies of his generation ( Sandler and the likes ) He as always seemed quite nice.......Even though, in that filed there comes a time when your head inflates.......- they all have tha phase !- but he seems to have come back to earth !!! Even with a Star Trek memorabilis....😜😜.:)))) He is likeable !!! He needs another good role !!! 😊😊

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty was a fantastic movie! I’m so glad it helped your son and your family.
That was a great movie. Pretty much all the Stiller movies are enjoyable and deep.
Such an amazing and uplifting movie

Ben Stiller is a fellow Star Trek 'nerd' -- I never knew that, despite being a fan of his for years. Yet another reason to love him!

I’ve always LOVED Ben Stiller. And of course, Colbert… but watching them Nerd-out over Star Trek together was priceless. Also, Severance is genius.
Severance S2's gonna be sooo good!!
I…CANNOT… WAIT!!! I’m listening to their podcast until it shows up.
The older Ben stiller get the more and more I see his dad Jerry stiller. Shout out to Jerry!

I’ll give it a try. I also didn’t get into it.
The immortal Ben Stiller. Too many movies to mention, “There’s something about Mary.”
Awesome movie one of my favorites. 😂 also “ meet the parents “
Have loved Ben Stiller from the very beginning of his career. and from a great comedy family!!!
“Meet the parents” and “There’s something about Mary “. His dad was my favorite character on Seinfeld, Frank Costanza, George’s dad

OhEmJee! He could consider loaning these items out to The Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop) in Seattle, WA! Add it to our display.
We’d love to have it!
❤
Severance blew me away. I have not been so exited about a tv show since Breaking Bad.
I had no idea that Ben Stiller was so small! Now I can relate to him! 😀
Noticed that in TSABM, next to Cameron Diaz.
His hands look huge compared to his dainty knees.
So much joy when your house doesn't burn down.
Ben Stiller is shrinking.. and starting to look more like his dad.. :)
One more week!
Can’t wait to see Season 2 of Severance!
I never thought I'd be jealous of Ben Stiller.
I was aware of Ben’s Trekkie status before this, but he has gone above and beyond! We need to get him a role on Strange New Worlds, stat.

Come to think of it, Shatner went to space for real.
There's no a matter about our stories are emulated. That's a big problem on our stories' similar or almost the same scenes in their movies.
