I have definitely been focusing more on sound design, obviously I'm still learning, but i see the benefit and the depth that it brings to video/film. Composition is another thing I'm trying to get better at, thanks for the tips.
Bro, the amount of work that went into this video (and in everyone of them)!!!! Setting up for multiple angles, the prep for the talking heads... Appreciate the grind man. Absolutely inspirational.
You're going to earn yourself millions of subscribers with this consistent quality, brother. Keep it up. Thanks for inspiring me to level up my filmmaking.
Aidin: You have no idea how much the deconstructed explanations of your creative content, workflow, and process have helped me grow from when I started as a noob trying to document my bicycle trips, to where I am in one year. While I'm very happy with my progress, but I have a great deal to learn along the road of developing those skills in the complex craft we call filmmaking. While equipment, time, and financial restraints hold some growth back, it also forces me to concentrate on other things that are more important, rather than getting caught up with "too much too soon" Thank you for giving all of us insight into your great work. One episode that has really stuck with me, was your PNW film, followed up by the sound editing. Thanks again.
Well done Aidin, I've been shooting since 1986 and I have instructed all over the world... I love to learn, and share that wisdom. Thanks for providing me great videos that help explain the Whole process to a new generation... So please keep up the great work and encourage people to go make beautiful images and share the world from their point of view... Thanks for reminding me of a Time when everything was fascinating... Stay Thee Blessed...
These tips are gold! Definitely agree with all of these, especially in the outro when you said that filmmaking as a craft is all of those elements coming together and working towards a concept. Thanks for sharing this video! Love the vlog/tutorial style of you hiking!
Such useful and practical advice! How you present seemingly intimidating stuff makes it more approachable and doable, and just pumps us up to keep creating better content. Thank you!
sound completed the cinema, half a century to complete the motion picture theater experience. loved the video, great points, love the personal takes. 80% of the drone shots didn't make it, you're a good man.
Dude, just watched 3 of your vids. Excellent tips! im glad you are not pushing the 'subscribe" constantly but you are focused in delivering instructions, tips and all that. Thanks man!
Wow, you are fantastic at your craft. You’re a great editor, voice over, and writer! You are smooth in your speaking skills and a wonderful talent! I’d hire you any day! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and doing it beautifully!
"just by showing up you are already ahead" --- Dude this was so true! Im not the best at it by any means, but in my niche, all i gotta do is show up lol Many thanks for your awesome vids! I use so much of your technique in the way i plan my shots...
currently doing a sound design course right now for my video production program...it is incredible how much work can (and should) go into it. Great video as always!
bro, when you shot the shot where the sun was hitting you on the face and you said that it was terrible, it still looked better than all the shots i've taken in the last few months xD
Great tips but the best is just watch your videos and try to analyse your cuts and B-roll while you talk. This video is DOPE as all of your videos. Thank you for sharing this man!!! good luck🙏
Just today I was thinking.. 'hey UA-cam didn't notified me or what about aidins video" and There you are ... Much Love From India..👍🏼💫 I am Learning so many new things from you. Cheers . You have A Supporter for a Lifetime..
Always so good to see a video from you man! Absolutely amazing insight and definitely true, all these steps are considerations to dive into! Thank you for always sharing your thoughts and tips to make the process as smooth as possible for those of us in the craft!
Great video, as always 😊 As for the backlight, I wouldn't have the sun straight behind you but a bit to the side. In my opinion that creates a way more pleasing shadow and a more natural looking image all around
Love this video Aidin, I think out of all of these I definitely struggle the most with lighting. For some reason it's hard to wrap my head around it. Thanks for the tips, and as always you know I enjoyed this one! 🔥💯
Always learn something new from your videos.... although you are an great artist & a filmmaker but I must say that you are the master of story telling... Love you bro ❤️
Hi Aidin, At 7:54 - when you have that nice foreground blur with the plant - are you using manual focus or autofocus? If you're focusing manually and are alone how do you set the focus if you're also the subject? Great content as always!!! Really appreciate the tips
Awesome tips man! -> Make sure the basics are good before you go into the flashy stuff. You're one of the UA-camrs that never disappoints Aidin, you're a huge inspiration to me! Have a good day man!
As I see, your main microphone is the rode Videomic Pro + , but do you use additional microphones for ambient sounds? Fantastic video as always, thanks a lot! 😉 👊
I didnt really know a creator like you existed untill "Anithing" talked about you in his video. And Man he said right about you being Super Underrated. Looking forward to see 5M under your channel name😍

That bridge clip is out of this world....The moody colors are changinggggggg💫💫💫
The moody colors aren't going anywhere! But that shot would have looked gross with muted greens ;)
