🚐 As a tour guide in Acadia and a local year-round resident on Mount Desert Island, I gotta see that these tips are legit hot 🔥 all really great recommendations 👏 🪨
Good tips. Of course I do find some irony in the top secret things in Bar Harbor when most was off the island lol. But I can say I enjoy Schoodic point and like getting away from the craziness. We’ve been going to MDI every year for almost 40yrs…. I like finding the unknown gems….
Also if you’re burnt out on all the seafood. Head up from gouldsboro a few miles to the town of milbridge. There’s a Mexican takeout called vasquez. The family originally moved there to be close to the blueberry fields and harvest them in July and august. They have authentic Mexican food that is to die for. I used to live in milbridge.
Alll thank you so much and happy anniversary. You will love it there if never been there. Some great ideas in this video can't say enough about Tracy's seafood platter. We still talk about ther clam strips from there. Make sure you watch my other bar harbor and Acadia videos. Have a great time and thanks for commenting and please subscribe...👍👍😎😎🦞🦞🦞🦞
Eric, we stay all the time at edgewater motel and cottages, we take one of the larger cottages, and we are right on frenchmans bay, about 15 minutes into bar harbor, and 5 into the park entrance. they are great people to stay with.
From the different videos I watch it looks like the food prices are highest in Bar Harbor and if you drive to another town to eat you could save a lot of money.
My brother and I use to go to schoodic almost every weekend when we lived there. Starting at the point, you can find an old stone wall and it runs for miles in through the woods and leads to an old house inland that’s being used by the college. But that’s my little local secret 🤫 😉 good video. Makes me miss home 🏠
You definitely have an out of state accent but the channel looks good, lots of good footage! Not sure it's really the "top secrets" definitely not local secrets!
Bailey Island is a cool place to sail out to visit. There's a small lighthouse on it and you can climb to the top and see everything just the way that the light house keeper left it.
Thank you so much. You can ask anything on this channel. Lol. I use a dji osmo action camera. About half the price of a gopro and does a great job. I love it. Let me know what you think of Bar harbor area. If you never been there you will love it. Thanks for commenting and please subscribe. I want to hear about you vacation. 👍👍😁😁
Oh yeah would definitely think so. They depend on tourism. You will have a blast. Please subscribe and be sure and let me know what you think. 👍👍😁😁♥️♥️
Thank you. You will have a great time. Make sure you watch my other 2 videos on bar harbor and Acadia. It's one of my favorite towns. Please subscribe. 😁😁👍👍🦞🦞
I would think eating out on the deck at bar harbor inn watching the boats would be amazing or just walking around town. Also if you can get up early the sunrise at cadillac mountain must be amazing. You just need to make reservations for it. Packing a lunch and eating on the rocks up there would be cool too. There is so much to do. 😁😁👍👍

That is very true. Bat harbor can be expensive. Especially lobster prices. 👍👍

@@AlongForTheJourney I did, also I used to live in cape may, 30 years there, commented on those videos also.
schoodic is a great place to go, when barharbor area of the park becomes too crowded.

hope you visited little cranberry island.
I will put that on my list. Never heard of that. 👍👍

I know most people don't know that's why it's on big signs along the roadway. Most people don't have eyes so they can't see it
