- THANKS FOR WATCHING!
Here is the info for the control unit display.
HOW TO SET LCD DISPLAY PARAMETERS
Press and hold the Up and Down arrows for 4-5 seconds to enter the settings panel of your SW900 / S830 LCD Displays.
The followings are the programs/parameters and what they stand for:
P01 Background luminance. 1 is the darkest, 3 is the brightest
Depends on your choice.
P02 Unit of distance. 0 is KM, 1 is MILE
Switches between Kilometers and Miles.
P03 Voltage grades. 24V, 36V, 48V, 52v.
The battery and the kit voltages must be the same!
P04 Sleep time. 0 means the LCD screen will never go off for energy save mode, other numbers stand for the sleep time (1-60 min).
Depends on your choice.
P05 PAS grades.
0, Has 3 grades mode: 1 grade 2V, 2 grade 3V, 3 grade 4V
1, Has 5 grades mode: 1 grade 2V, 2 grade 2.5V, 3 grade 3V, 4 grade 3.5V, 5 grade 4V
Options 0 and 1 indicate how much electric assist each grade will provide from the battery while pedaling and will affect the pedaling speed accordingly. For example, in option 0 grade 2 will assist you with 3V while it is 2.5V in option 1.
PS: S830 Displays have a 9-grade option.
P06 Wheel size. Unit: inch. Precision: 0.1
Wheel size unit shown in inches. Must be set correctly.
P07 Speed measuring magnet. Range: 1-100
This is 47 for the direct drive (1200w and above) motors and 01 for geared (500w - 750W) motors.
PS. If the speedometer isn't accurate after setting this up, try setting it to 86.
P08 Speed limit. Range: 0-50 km/h, 100 means no limit
The limit is set in Km and can not be switched to a Mil. So calculate it carefully when you set the limit.
No-Communication Status (controlled by the meter): when the real speed is over the ones we set, the meter would shut off the PWM output; when less than the speed we set, the meter would turn on the PWM output automatically, and the driving speed would be ±1 km/h; (Speed limit is for PAS, not for Throttle)
Communication Status (controlled by the controller): The driving speed keeps the same as the ones we set. Random error: ±1km/h. (Speed limit is for both PAS and Throttle)
Notes: These data are based on KM. When changing KM to Mile, the speed value on the screen would convert to correct Miles automatically, but if you do not change the setting of the speed limit from KM to Mile, it would be different from the real speed limit in Mile.
P09 Zero start & Non-zero Start. 0 is Zero Start, 1 is Non-zero Start
Zero start (0) will engage the motor instantly while Non-zero start (1) will give some delay when you throttle.
P10 Driving mode.
0 is driven by PAS. The throttle is useless at this time. Use this option if you do not want to use the throttle.
1 is driven by Throttle. PAS is useless at this time. If you do not need PAS, then use this option.
2 is driven by PAS & Throttle. The throttle is useless at Zero Start status. Both throttle and PAS are active.
P11 PAS sensitivity. Range: 1-24
Set the sensitivity carefully, 1 is the most sensitive.
P12 PAS start strength. Range: 0-5
The lower value provides slight assistance when you start pedaling.
P13 PAS magnet type. There are 3 types: 5, 8, and 12. Dots on the magnetic ring. It’s 8 as default (Set it as 12 in case you have 12 magnet rotors).
P14 Not implemented now.
P15 Not implemented now.
P16 ODO Zero-Out: Long press the upper key for 5 seconds and ODO will zero out.
Use this option to reset ODO.
P17 Not implemented now. - Фільми й анімація
I bought one halfway thru yr video....yr quite the salesman. Oh and in Canada I payed $1100 plus $100 shipping.
Owned it for going on 4-ish months and 160 miles on it. Love it. Well worth the $800 I paid for it.
How good is the range homie?
waiting for mine in a few days. thanks for the review
Great video! Your channel will do very well if you keep up this quality. Thanks for putting the LCD settings in the description, I was looking for those.
Nice review imma buy
There are about four different variants of this bike. The earlier models have the controller under the seat basically just sitting in the metal
Frame “box” and unless you install a wee bit of pading… they bounce around. I received the “current” revision according to the factory. I have (for no better wording) and ignition/power key (not counting the one on the battery) next to the 7 speed Shimono thumb shifter. Mine also came with full fenders.
I installed a front rack with panniers, handle bar extender, mirrors, a different cell phone mount, classic bike bell, 3 globe Cree LED light in the center of the handle bar extender (to really reach out there), tire repair kit off the left side of the seat, small saddle bag style tool pouch, nomad trailer and water bottle holder… it makes for a really nice set up for my needs without dumping 3 grand that I cannot afford. Bottom line… buy one… I did and it was money well spent…
Can you make a UA-cam video about the customisations you've did and how you've kitted it out?
@@Pxrmar sorry but I do not make UA-cam videos… a lot of people ask me because I build 3 string guitars, full size guitars, lots of solar projects and several other hobbies… I just have fun trying new things. The bike set up works great. With 2 batteries using one on the bike and charging the other while I ride on pedal assist 1 and actually pedaling… I can ride all day with up to 50 pounds in my trailer and my 217 pound torso on the bike. If I stay at a place with power, I cheat and charge the last battery I used during the night… or just top it off the next day if the sun cooperates
Very good video
Great review! I have the same rattles, at least its not just me lol. But everything works. I ride it hard. Go off small jumps, full speed all terrains, wear a full face helmet. Even put some leds on it. Sweet bike, can't beat the price!
I had some initial minor damage from shipping and the company has been nothing short of excellent. That says a lot.
Just ordered mine
what’s the range
Cable actuated caliper xtech set cost me $60 Canadian and made the bike basically do endos. My friend paid $100 for a full hydraulic kit. Trust me the money you save can be put into upgrades and you still come out on top. Add a larger 52v battery and you're good to go. I like simpler bikes that you can upgrade yourself.
The stock brakes are really the downfall of this bike. I need to upgrade to a better brake system.
Well if you want to use the existing hardware and install in minutes I went with a set of Zoom Xtech HB-100 cable actuated hydraulic calipers. It's not quite as good as a full hydraulic system, but it's about 70% there and far above the mechanicals. I believe I paid $60 for the set. These are just a straight bolt on. They are pre-bled at the factory so it's a quick few bolts and you're done. Very easy to deal with however when you change the pads eventually you may need to bleed them. I got a bleed kit for like $20? $25? Can't remember. If you want a full hydraulic system I installed another zoom brake system on my friends bike but it is a little more involved and you have to reroute hydraulic lines and bleed the brakes, etc. For around $100ish or so. Maybe because the cable actuated calipers are so cheap and easy to install you could maybe try that route first? It's the easiest. For my bike they are overkill as with my battery my bike is around 52lbs so it doesn't need much to really make a difference. I know you can go cheaper than this but it might be best to stick with a name brand. Zoom brakes are on a lot of ebikes from the factory and they are well tested. @@ronjroth
Can you make a separate video on the different modes. Thank you.
Maximum load capacity is 120kg
but what would happen if two people weighing 75 kg each were riding this ebike?
these limits make no sense, because I have a scooter with a maximum weight of 120kg and I was riding it with my friend , about 150kg and nothing happens and I'm thinking about it because the emoko c91 has a limit of 150kg and the jansno x50 only has a limit of 120kg
You cant say more than ,just buy one,I think I will too.🎉
Can you change the handle bar to a straight one?
How much is shipping
How’s it now? Would the bike be good for someone whose 6’3
Can you use it for an everyday job?
Rattles ate probably something you didn't tighten enough. Like the headlight.
So I got mine yesterday and assembled it today. - Never built one before.
So a few things, I did watch the official video (which does lack a lot of details imo) - At the front "suspension" there are this "wrap" around which is underneath the extension for the lights - I was unsure to keep it on or not, so I decided to remove it - Maybe a bad idea. Because I notice the extensions arent really thight enough after that was removed.
The seat was awful to put on, as the bolts are hard to screw on.
My discbrake on the front wheel, is leaning against the right wall of the gap where it is supposed to be in the middle (i guess).
Discbrake fixed
how did you fix it?@@Freddyzo
@@danyloooo I tried to fiddle with it and unscrewed it, screw it back while holding in the middle.
how did you get to the disc brake without moving the wheel? or did you take off the wheel from the bike and then adjusted the disc brake? one more thing, does the wheel align by itself or do you need to be super precise with the way you put it in? sorry for the many questions im new to ebikes lol@@Freddyzo
@@danyloooo i didn't move any wheel. I adjusted the small brake system on the one side. Before the disc brake was leaning in the brake all the time, after the disc is in the middle.
You probably found it by now but the rattles in the motor controller under the seat it's just flopping around in there
Yeah I bought one yesterday and I paid $866 for it at Amazon
How to buy
Mine arrived, I put everything together and it doesn't turn on 😩😩😩
How do I lock the bike so no one can just power it and ride off? Some bikes have keys to turn it on? How to do with Jansno?
you have to wire a key ignition instead of the power button
@@CrunchyCheeseMC qualcuno ha lo schema elettrico per fare questo tipo di collegamento? Grazie mille
Mine came with a “power” key and according to the factory is the newest release. You have the one key for the battery lock and mine has a handle bar key “power” switch next to the 7 speed Shimono shift control on the right side of the handle bar.
Hi I received my bike yesterday and for some reason the throttle does not work when I built it it was working perfectly but I woke up today and the throttle will not work
Check your setting on your control display. P10- drive mode and make sure it is set on 1 or 2.
Does anyone know how long it takes to ship
Mine took 5 days from Amazon
How much is shipping
