I was unaware of the size and scale of the location you were playing in and when the camera started to pan out to show the enormous organ behind you . . . and the music just fit so well. Bravo and well done!!
I am very interested in this arrangement I am currently directing an orquestra at our church I only have 2 French horns 2 trumpets for brass we are working on getting a trombone
It is a standard brass band performance piece here in Australia. It is called something like "on a hymn tune by Philli[p Bliss". I am sure that you can find it online.
@@tnm_champ8675 You don't understand my comment. The lead trumpet is out of tune with the pitch played by the rest of the players. A good player must listen to the rest of the players and adjust his pitch to match the group. Tuning before you start playing will never suffice, listen as you play is the only way to play in tune.
@@tnm_champ8675 Russel I don't know how experienced you are with musical groups so I am not picking on you. When the whole group is playing or when the organ plays the pitch is different to that played by the soloist. If you cannot hear that then maybe the people doing the recording also did not notice but were cariied away by the good technique displayed by the soloist. This piece opf music is one of my favourite brass hymns it is still worth reording that performance even if it is not perfect.
I have played this over and over again
I love how much conviction this songs builds up each time !! ❤❤👏🏽👏🏽

When it comes to brass banding, look for The Salvation Army band...there is uniqueness in their music

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ copy plz
It is a pity that the solo trumpet didn't tune or listen to the group.
Didn't listen to the group???
Why would it be called a band arrangement if he didn't listen to the group???!!!

@@dougpearce8772 why would they record it if one guy was "out of tune"
Maybe they didn't hear it or maybe they thought to overlook the tuning. Many brass bands playing without paying proper attention to pitch.
