My Dad William was a member of the Society for over 40 Years. Just before we took him to his final resting place we played this song. I will never forget my Dad or this song
This is the first time I have heard RINGMASTERS sing a sacred song. As always, the quality of sound is breathtaking and the venue was perfect. I look forward to hearing more sacred music from these fine men.
The first sacred song I heard was Shall We Gather at The River with Voces8. I’m with you. I can’t wait to hear more sacred songs from them. Absolutely beautiful job gentlemen!
Beautiful. May many people be able to say it is well with their souls even in these perilous times because they have put their faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.
WOW.... awesome... Im worship leader at our church... gotta sing this song... because by the Grace of God I got saved I have Jesus in my heart..... and for sure....IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL.....AMEN🙏🏻🙏🏻
Jesus is knocking. Let Him in. He will never hurt, leave or forsake you. He will only make you and your life better. His love is an open door. ✝️🙏🕊❤️‼️

Forgive me for commenting again but I have heard many many renditions of this song and this is hands down, bar none the best I have ever heard....and I'm old...I mean there are rocks younger than me. Blessings~
This hymn was mt grandmothers favorite and she passed peacefully just a few days ago and I wished I could have showed her this piece before she left the Earth. This video will forever be engraved into my mothers and my mind.
In the brass world we often speak about the "Ring of confidence" ,a of cutting off a phrase such that between tuning and air movement the room will literally ring. These gents totally have the "Ring of Confidence".
One of my favorite Hymns! I understand MR Bliss penned this after he lost his wife and his daughters, when their ship went down. Listen to the JOY Mr BLiss gave us!!! Thank you fellows.
Horatio Spafford wrote these words in the 1870s. After the death of his son he sent his wife and 4 daughters ahead of him on vacation to England. The ship had a collision and sank. His wife was the only one of the 5 saved. As his own ship was making the crossing, near Christmas, the captain called him up on deck as they passed the place where his 4 daughters had drowned. It was there he penned the words to this declaration.
Part of my families heritage..... Paul Philip Bliss doesn't fall far off my family tree (4th GGF's brother) , he of course penned the music to Horatio's words!
Jakob out here giving dang Lester Rector a run for his money on that post. This was absolutely phenomenal, though I would not expect anything less from you four.
Let's just get serious here for a second... ;) Not here to chat about this hymn, the words, nor the historical events causing these words to be penned. (Go there and be prepared for tears...) But listen to the overtone before the other 3 ever get to the last note. In fact, this Lead creates his own overtone all over the place. What a gift! Beautiful job guys!!
Wow this is beautiful... this gave me absolute chills. Acapella is such a beautiful genre, thank you so much for sharing this work of art with us! Also hoooly crap Emanuel’s D in the tag rang for DAYS
An absolutely stunning performance. While that old church's acoustics definitely helped out, you guys did a top notch job. This is one of my favorite songs, Larry Ford's version used to be my favorite, but I think this one now takes the gold.
For a fleeting moment...I heard a double overtone on the ending chord. I remember when Jokers Wild from then SPEBSQSA recorded this song and was simply amazed. Amazement barely covers what I felt in this version. The acoustics of where you sang this added to the goosebumps. Love it!
Just as incredible as your version with the full choir. And that 20 second note at the end is just outstanding. Love the arrangement - only critique would be that I wish I could hear more of the bass!
Really marwellous, fantastic and very high quality of interpretation. Need to be carefoul about fortissimos, because better if the feeling of power stay in synchron with the real power of voices - sometime lux like too much a littlebit - but generally very big pleasure, fantastic feeling, beautiful sound recording - and acoustical conditions ideal - and specially emotionally beautiful performance this file. The Ringmasters still one of my favourite acapella quartet - stay in this quality and artictical peaks. Gratulation.
Not any church, though. It’s only in the grand edifices of cathedrals and other like structures - like Sofia Church in Stockholm where this was recorded - that you get the magnificent, and even majestic, reverberations and echo that make the sound there so wonderful.

Well, Ringmasters, I have never heard anyone do this Harrington arrangement as well as the level of 4 Voices... until now. Beautiful.
Beautiful. May many people be able to say it is well with their souls even in these perilous times because they have put their faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.
What a breathtaking performance! That final cadence was superb. Well done gentlemen.

It would be great to hear a Ringmasters' interpretation of "Abide With Me" one of these days... in the not-too-distant future.
I'm not religious but this could convert me! Amazing 👏

Religion will fail you . A true relationship with God will not
I'm also not religious but this could convert me, too! AGREE 100%

This is just a taste of what must be profound music and singing around the Throne of the Lamb before whom all will bend their knee.
Thanks for the beautiful Holy music, Cuenca, Ecuador
That was really beautiful. Thank you Ringmasters for your continuing excellence in singing.
Literally spine-tingling!
IT HAS BEEN SO EXCITING HAVING UPLOADS FROM RINGMASTERS KEEP EM UP!
absolutely amazing....brilliant....To god be the glory. Thank you so much guys.
I JUST LOVE THIS!! AHH! THOSE HARMONIES! FOOD FOR MY SOUL!
Simply beautiful.
This hymn is so beautiful and brings me to tears every time. It’s been played at the funerals of some loved ones and it always brings me peace.

An amazing performance. All natural with room reverb and those overtones... It is perfect.
So. Much. Reverb. But so beautiful. For us believers it's hard to imagine that angelic choirs will be even better than this one day.
To think that this is only a glimpse of what heaven must be.
Spectacular, gentlemen, just spectacular!! 👋
Großartig!
All I can say is Thank You!
Wow! I'm speechless... yes, what the others said. God bless you all - from Cape Town , South Africa
One of my favorite hymns! Good job, boys!
Excelente Gloria a Dios 🙌💓
Just perfect.
it goes directly into the heart

I love that arrangement. Thank you for performing that one
Yow! That overtone at the end was sweet!

Absolutely agree. Never heard an overtone produced so clearly by just one voice.
EXACTLY then it gets like ten times louder when the chord resolves these guys are so good
What a beautiful hymn! Your voices made my heart tremble.
Thank you for singing my favorite hymn with full respect and devotion.
I love the slow crescendo over 3 minutes to a glorious finish! Well done, gentlemen!
Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing!

What a beautiful Tenor!!
I love it! Thanks from my heart.
All is well. 🙂
My Friday has been treated with a surprise Ringmasters drop. BEAUTIFUL stuff as always, gents. 👌
My only complaint is the omission of the 3rd verse, probably the greatest verse of all hymns.
Beautiful acoustics...If the Ringmasters do more sacred hymns and songs, I might subscribe again. They have a beautiful sound!
An absolutely stunning performance. While that old church's acoustics definitely helped out, you guys did a top notch job. This is one of my favorite songs, Larry Ford's version used to be my favorite, but I think this one now takes the gold.

Wow!! Mo Rector would be proud!
Beautiful ❤
Beautifully done! The acoustics in that church are awesome.
Oh. My. Jesus! 😭 Utterly beautiful, and the pull back on the 'even so, it is well...' part was powerful. Way to go, guys! 🙏

Love Ringmasters!!!!!
Great as always
Soon
VERY NICE! One of my favorite hymns. I usually love hearing the Gaither's sing it, but you guys did well by it also! Thanks for sharing.
damn this is so good. love these guys so much
Just as incredible as your version with the full choir. And that 20 second note at the end is just outstanding. Love the arrangement - only critique would be that I wish I could hear more of the bass!

OK wow.
This is indescribably gorgeous, thank you for this

churches are just unparalleled when it comes to performance spaces
Indeed! Hopefully we're close to hearing this live soon. :)
Ever tried singing in the shower?

Wait till you hear a band playing jazz with muted instruments, it sounds like heaven
My goodness.
Phenomenal 😊
@0:17 "uh-teh-HEN-ded" made me giggle.
This is the GQ arrangement!! So good
Four Voices also used to sing this arrangement even before they took gold in ‘02. There’s a reason everyone loves this it 🙌🏻
Imponerande!
Just beautiful..may Gods name br praised
Amen!
How lovely. Especially if you know the story.
Yes!
Nem chorei, só fiquei tremendo
2:36 onwards is the best
A healthy overdose of overtones!!! Amazing singing
Well dang, That just happened. . . Got to find a group again.
Who is this new bass what did I miss
Edit: MARTIN LEFT 2 YEARS AGO?
smh lol
Holy carp that is amazing. I get chills every time I listen
Ridiculously good, ridiculous!!!!!
Amen and Amen Jesus Christ
Where is Martin? Didier is good replacement. Anyone? Just curious. This a fabulous group.
They unfortunately split from Martin a few years back, because he wanted to spend more time with his family. Didier is the new permanent replacement.
