cos'e´ quella roba che cantano dopo il motetto di purcell? e se vogliono cantare un'altra roba non capaci di chiudere e cominciare l'altro brano dopo una pausa?
Completely agree. While the performance is beautiful, the dissonances really don't come through as much as they should. One of my favourite moments is the 9-8 suspension in one of the (I believe) tenor parts. In other recordings, that moment is painfully intense to the listener, but here it just feels like any other suspension. Still a great performance of a wonderful piece.
Thank you so much for this!
This is lovely. Det ar vackert!

Right tempo but they don't crunch that dissonance enough lacking in emotion and passion

Is this Norwegian?
Pauline K. The music? English.
Evan Graham I meant the choir and the language used on the intro. I know Purcell was English.
The video description appears to be in Danish, although the translation says this choir is pan-Scandinavian.
