Don’t you love how defensive some people get as soon as you insinuate big AFL events should be held anywhere but Melbourne? Can you imagine if they held the Super Bowl in Green Bay every year? The FA Cup at Anfield? Tradition is a poor excuse when there’s plenty of “traditions” that have been quickly discarded the last twenty years alone. It made sense back then, it doesn’t now. Why shouldn’t things be shared with WA, SA, NSW, QLD?
It's still the VFL. Should be no brownows after 1987. Should be the Sir Doug Nicholls Medal. Grand Final Should be rotated between cities, look how successful the recent GF was in Perth.

As an Essendon supporter (I know it’s embarrassing atm but it’s un Australian to change as we all know) I find it VERY offensive they are getting my star’s name wrong over and over.
