I was at that game with two Swans fans. They wanted to stay to the end to see how many he'd kick. This game was also note worthy because Essendon fans booed Bewick, because they thought he should have passed a goal off to Lloyd. Don't think I've seen Boris booed by the black and red faithful.
i have this game on VHS - i miss football without matty lloyd. definately should have had 1000 career goals. That awful hamstring injury cut him short :(
I was there too .... resusated James Cottier as he had a heart attack on the club bus I was on to visit Windy Hill for dinner. James was a founding member of the Essendon Social Club. Since deceased ... Rest in peace James.
