A lot of great points Barcode brought up. Speaking on Halo's management of international scenes, cutting asia, the lack of local lans, etc., I really do think the only way the ANZ region can thrive is if Asia is supported as well. Right now I'd much rather see Asia and ANZ become their own Eastern conference with their own lans to grow the region then see them compete at majors in the US (ideally it feeds into global comp). NA is just so far ahead and the ecosystem the HCS is run under benefits NA teams more than any other region so it's almost impossible for other regions to catchup yet alone develop. Same goes for LATAM and EU but they can at least scrim with NA teams so they don't have the same disadvantage ANZ does.
