Some times you hate the algorithm and some times you love the algorithm... this video was the second one. I felt the whole 100 days trip in just 3min, amazing! Thanks for sharing with us.
I'm twice your age. I've been traveling - sometimes with a Disco too - for over 30 years, mostly alone. My next long solo trip is just around the corner. And even though what you're showing here is exactly the melody I'm following, my heart always looses courage for a moment because I'm leaving my comfort zone, my loved ones, all my possessions and all my security. I love it. Or better: I will, once I'm off into the big everything.
Martin the quote on your banner art is epic. I need to buy you a whiskey for that. Maybe we’ll cross paths one day. I’m also middle aged & traveling the world with my camera. -TED
Currently on day 43 of my adventure. Much less capable of a vehicle & my views haven’t been quite as extreme, but I’ve swam in all the Great Lakes, spent a week backpacking on Isle Royale, climbed Katahdin, and been the first person in the U.S. to see the sun rise one morning. It doesn’t matter what you’ve got, it’s what you do with it. It’s the adventure of a lifetime & I’m living the dream. And this beautiful synopsis of your recent life serves as a beautiful reminder of all the wonderful things that can happen. Thank you for sharing
This video actually started out as a 40 minute video. But it took sooooo long and I wasn’t happy with it. So I thought before I leave on a new adventure I will make a recap :p
Absolutely beautiful. The minimal planning comment really hit home. I bought my first motorbike in June and 3 weeks later I set off on a 4000 mile, mostly solo trip round the Baltic and Scandinavian countries with no experience and minimal preparation. My only regret from the whole thing is not having enough time to film and photograph more.
I had a hectic day at work. This video was recommended to me, and I was just glued to the visuals, the sound, the color, the landscape, and everything. It just brought me peace and calmness.
When I came across this video, my UA-cam algorithm was filled with internet drama and politics. After I watched this about 3 times in a row, it’s completely changed to hiking videos, DIYs, and even some random educational videos. Thank you.
@@HomerJay1991 I also shared your comment on instagram haha because it’s just so nice. As I try to see what I create as art indeed . And not content. So to me that meant a lot
Out of every family member, out of all of my friends, and most people I've met, I am the only one to have chosen to spend my life travelling, and not choosing a career. I always end up travelling alone, and it can be an incredibly lonely existence, but nothing compares to being on the road. Sometimes I wish I had someone to share it with, 'happiness only real when shared', but the freedom, liberation, and having the time to get to know yourself so deeply makes up for it.
This is a really beautiful film. I love the shot variation and creativity. The fixed driving shots from various vantage points is really special. That attention to detail and the effort of which you take in your video really shines. Great work, bravo!
beautiful, brother. living the most that life offers without fear. connecting like this with life and the world heals the soul, we should all experience this 🔥😼
The peace of this film with the color grading and vision overlayed on Lana’s Paris, Texas is such a masterpiece. As a fellow small creator, this is an inspiration for me to strive for great work. Subbed!
I arrived in OZ, bought a D1, solo travelled, slept on my rear wooden bunk, no mattress, no money, always breaking down, working at random farms to use a hoist, change out a clutch and rebuild a transfer case on a campground, never get bogged, always break down, loving life, helping others, found nothing, kept looking, sold the tractor.
beautifully captured! I`m just finishing my 3 month Balkan trip tomorrow and feel all the feels - unlike yours, my impressions are much more spontaneously amateur-captured through my vlogs but still... I will cherish the memories of this summer so much, it`s such a pristine region with such beautiful people! ❤
Man this takes me back to last years trip with my best friends and our Landys & Land Cruiser all the way from Central Europe down to Albania. Hits different!
really beautiful cinematography and editing. The static shots with the movement in the frame creates such an interesting authentic art of telling the story. and being able to experience a part of your journey. thanks for sharing.
Awesome! We have been offroading a bit in the Balkans (visited the same countries), but still I have the feeling I haven't seen all or even enough of it when watching your video. Nicely shot. As a couple and now a family, it was great to just go by myself recently. It was just a week, went into the Alps and Dolomites camping with my old sports car, but it was just great being by myself for a while. Same kind of feeling I get from this video.
What a masterpiece. Thank you for sharing this with us. I went on a similar trip around Iceland just before Covid. Can't tell you how much it helped me through the times that followed. Stay safe everyone, but not too safe.
Watching this over and over again, it's so beautiful in its simplicity. It really makes me want to bring my camera on my trips again (which I haven't done in a while). I'm really looking forward to what you create in the future!
This absolutely fucking amazing. I have always been a travelling enthusiast and this motivates me even more to take a Land Rover and just traveller around such beautiful landscapes. Just wonderful!
What a beautiful video. I just hope people don't mistake this with reality because it will not always be like that (tried it myself). You will get stressed, lonely, always need to find a place to eat/shower/do your business... Nobody shows that in a social media video.
Those problems can be solved by riding a proper RV/motorhome. But all the setting up the camera to film yourself doing some low-key living in the moment stuff, that's the annoying part I always fail to get motivated for.
This was so calming to watch. I love the subtlety of this film…the match cuts that don’t hit like bomb but just ease in so peacefully. The shot from inside the car of the sheep’s walking wow I love it!! Well done brother keep going x
I have a warm sensation at the bottom of my soul watching this. Nothing on youtube has made me feel like this as long as I can remember. Thank you for bringing this to us man.
Every young man should do this at least once in his life. Bless
That could also be the title of this video ;) thanks man
did it for 3 years.. tempted to do it again...
This is on my list, I have all the equipments ready tho, minus the tyre, I need to switch to some dirt tyre
I'd do it. The only thing keeping me back is the lack of money.

The music, the color grading, the shots. Just awesome. I love UA-cam for showing me this masterpiece. ❤

Love the artist for making it. UA-cam is just an algorithm with hosting. It is nothing without people who create.
One of the best videos I've seen in a while

@ disco 2 from 1999 . The tires and bumper and roofrack give it a different look

Now this is cinematography. Very well done. Love every second of it.

The cinematography, the feelings that interact with us, the unique frames, and the music. My man is cooking 🔥

Loved this. Immersive Translate makes global content accessible and easy to enjoy.
Rough plan, then wing it, those have been the best trip I’ve ever had. given me inspiration to hit the road again, man.
