great interview from one of the most talented magicians alive. if you haven't checked him and dani daoritz out and you like card magic they will blow your mind and change what you think is possible completely.
Thanks, Penguin has it! I know your magic doesn't require deck switching, for instance, three card oil and water. I consider myself harder to fool by sleights but that one totally gets past me and I'm still baffled. It's the best oil and water I've ever seen. I won't bother you on how it's done or if there is any instruction on it........in a way it's perfectly fine just knowing that it's done so well. It does leave a longing within, however. As an aside I saw you doing some I, IV, V blues and was just wondering if you also know your modes (Dorian, Aeolian, Mixolydian) Again, thanks for the title of Giobbi's book!
I wish he interrupted you less Jason, you could not even finish the quote about 'it is about what you leave behind', he is a bad listener, I am surprised you did not respond to that, too nice of you friend. Too nice , too good as always.
36:00 Jason, you don't care about rankings, that's a cool way to think. Wondering though, do you like to fool or wow other magicians? Personally, I feel a different kind of accomplishment if I can fool or wow someone who knows some card magic.
While I do enjoy fooling magicians, it’s not my main concern. My focus is creating magic for lay audiences. Some magicians today really focus on the opposite.
Fantastic interview Jason! 👍🏼
Thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and this interview. It was interesting and awesome!
Great interview. Weird chairs. :-)
I'll send you a message before my next interview to make sure the chairs meet your standards.
Amazing interview
Thanks !!

“Practiced 11 hours that day” - how do you do that without forearm pain or tendinitis developing?
I've played guitar and piano since I was 7 years old too and never had any pain in my hands / fingers / forearms. Guess I just got lucky!
@@CardMagicByJason hey that’s wonderful!
Jason, do you know about any book by Roberto Giobbi on deck switches (I hope the question isn't offensive)?
yes, it's called the Art of Switching Decks
