I planted up my watermelons in my new garden I've started in the backyard.
Hello, I'm Stephanie, zone 9a on the Mississippi Gulf Coast ❤❤❤!
Welcome!
LOVE HOW YOU TALK down to earth ! great info
Thank you!! I’m in Southern Indiana 6b. This inspired to to get back out there and replant some things that didn’t go well!
Washington State signing off! Eastside of Washington which is really dry and hot. Thanks for the suggestions
I planted squash and zucchini seeds today. I didn't plant them in the spring because I didn't want to deal with those evil squash bugs!
I’m not planting them in spring anymore
Thank you!
Hey Barbara thanks for the Word and for the encouragement. Have an awesome blessed day ❤😊
Thank you, Barbara. I'm in your zone and am glad to hear this. I have yet to have a harvest on anything except strawberries, so I appreciate this more than you know.
Marion, Arkansas
I did drop two zucchini seeds lol, and of course, some bush beans.Im not doing much. it's just too hot.Im going to take a break until I start my fall garden. I'm just picking Okra as it comes in.❤ Jacksonville florida in the house 9a
Ok awesome!
Thank you always for the information and encouragement, Barbara. I need to get outside after work and sow that basil seed. I am in 8b, so I have a little more time than you. I am assembling a 4 X 2 metal raised bed while I watch your video. I am planning to plant some popcorn in it. Last week, my son learned about the Three Sisters gardening method in one of his college classes. He wants to experiment with that method on his own.
Oh that is so cool!
Hi Barbara! Always lurking in the background and watching your vids. Thought I’d finally say hello, all the way from Seattle ❤
Thank you! I appreciate you watching and saying hello!
Hi… I’m a new subscriber, viewing in Houston Texas. I’m a teacher so I’m home for the summer trying to improve my food growing gardening skill AND harvest. Thank you for all the information. I’m learning so so much!
Welcome and I am glad you are here!
I love your video!!! Thank you for making these!! Stay cool in this crazy heat!
I just pulled out some bug ridden squash and zucchini (darn squash borers), and planted out some more bush beans) bc they have been doing so well this season for me.
Thank you so much for great info
You are welcome!
I sure took the word friend😂I started another purple prince tomato since I checked the maturity time on it😂we still have time😂
Hey hey Barbara. I started my next successions a couple of weeks ago. As of today I still have 83 days to my estimated first frost. I’m so proud of me. Thank you for all your encouragement and teaching.
I’m starting on my fall seeds this week. 😊
Awesome!!
Wait Barbara you betta preach about recouping in this season. Don’t wait until next year. I hear you Lord
Yes receive that word!
You are so encouraging to everyone!
New Haven CT..zone 7a
Welcome!!
Hi Barbara, I’m in Alabama and I just planted bush beans two days ago the second time the first go round was probably too early. I’m planning another round of squash tomorrow.. and a couple more cucumber seeds will be planted and containers as well. So far, I have not gotten any cucumbers. I don’t know why 🤔
I think I probably too soon and the squash beetles got some of my squash. The cucumbers are running, but there’s no cucumbers on them .. just flowers. Zucchini is growing but there’s no zucchini yet only flowers I will pollinate them. That’s what I think they need. Three large buckets of bush beans. Just found your channel and I subscribed thanks so much for your advice.👏🏽👏🏽🥰
Welcome to my channel! What part of AL are you in? I grew up in Huntsville.
That's right friend.... don't start that android apple thing again 😂😂😂 Great tips! Thanks
This really helped. Thank you.😊

Yes I need you to know for yourself!

Welcome!
I’ve planted kajari melons seeds two times already and something has ate them and my squash seeds completely down to the dirt! I’m going to give it one more try because you’ve motivated me lol If this doesn’t work maybe next year 😅
@ NISHA, TRY COVERING YOUR SEEDLINGS WITH A WIRE BASKET OR SOMETHING SO THE CRITTERS CAN'T GET TO THE (YOU CAN GET SOME OF THOS BLACK OR WHITE MESH TRASH BASKETS FROM THE $-STORE) GOOD LUCK THIS TIME AROUND 👍🏽👍🏽
Yes try one more time!
That was a good Word! I am recouping TODAY!
Recoup yes!! You can do it!
I'm now 7B in Tennessee, but I'm way north of Ardmore in middle TN. But the internet tells me that my estimated first frost date is November 1. Go figure.
What city are you in? You are close!
@@AGardenersJourneyHomestead Just outside Nashville, near Smyrna.
@@stephaniegee227 You are an hour or so from me!
Is that a word Barbara.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What word did I say lol?
Here from Maryland. Glad to have come across your channel!

I might try deal one more time both times it was earlier and it died before I could transplant it. You’re right sometimes it is better to plant later.
I have a hard time getting basil to germinate. How do you get your basil to get your’s to start?
Basil is generally easy to germinate -never had an issue. The seed is small so usually there are multiple seeds in my pot. Keep moist and it should be good.
Thank you 😊
Hi there, how’s it going nice sharing. Must say I am new here
Welcome to my channel!
Thank you! I just transplanted 1st squash and melons, started new cucumbers, and started sooo many beans. Praying we have an abundant harvest to share. 🙏🏽🪴
Awesome! Wishing you the best.
