    sorry but it won't dissipate quick enough. In Hawai'i we are getting swells from just storms all the way in Alaska and Australlia. Wind in a certain direction will create ripples in one area, but it will grow as it goes along. It's a rather interesting study.

    Natural disasters are scary. Very scary. You can't fully and 1005 accuratley predict when and where they will strike next (but using top notch scientific equipment, and you can get a pretty damn close idea).
    Plus, a lot of people don't fully prepare for such disasters. Maybe that's because these things are so rare and so unpredicatable, people don't take into account that it can happen until it actually happens.
    That is why I'm watching vidoes like this and on earthquakes. Of course

    @tefilim Mark's gospel does not include an account of the resurrection. It includes a sighting at empty tomb, but ends on a rather disconcerting note. "Two women enter the tomb, and they see a young man dressed in white. He explains that Jesus has been raised, and he instructs the women to tell Peter and the other disciples. The women flee in terror. In the earliest manuscripts, Mark's narrative ends there. The more upbeat ending that now appears in the New Testament was added by a later editor.

  • @furiousmat

    well. i guess i can't disagree with that. but do you really think that the energy liberated by a landslide on a volcanic island (which are relatively small islands) would be that much greater than the energy liberated when a tektonic contact of several hundreds of km released the stress it had accumulated on december 26th 2004 in indian ocean? well. I don't.. so that's why I think that this isnt rigorous. they're building this up.

  • @mauideniz
    @mauideniz 15 років тому

    Ummmm... I'm sorry but im going to have to disagree with you. The waves would continue to have the same strength all the way in Australlia. Look up the way wave strength works. Maybe slightly less strength but it won't be 2cm high. That massive of a landslide would easily create a 50-80 foot wave. or even bigger. We get swells that are created from wind and storms that are all the way in alaska and australlia. I'm in Hawai'i by the way

    @Mondosh1 I don't think it's important wich day Jesus was born, but some get confused when they find out all these false gods that are worshipped on dec.25. And that's just because Europe (or Rome) wouldn't give up their ancient religions, and mixed them with christianity. And there are many other elements that look the same. For instance: They used to worship a fertility goddess/ moon goddess/ heavenly queen. And this idol was replaced by mother Mary. None of the early christians worshipped her

    No scientific conclusions can be achieved by giving into factual compromises. Just saying "I don't really care either way" makes it entirely pointless to even try to understand it. The clash of a good debate with strong arguments brings us new knowledge and new viewpoints, accepting pluralism meekly doesn't; it causes stagnation.

  • @2323media
    @2323media 13 років тому

    @Agnes135 Ok, 1) Yes I have compared them, they are so identical that these persons would have to have been witnessess to the same story. No doubt about that. Their point was to tell the story about Jesus, not to document what happened first and last, that's why there are minor differences. Where did you hear this about the gospel of Mark? Anyway, it can be interesting to investigate how the Bible was formed. But when you start to know Jesus you never doubt if the Bible is the word of God.

    @Agnes135 Well, in a trial you would call witnessess to prove a case. This man was not a christian, he died and saw hell: I agree it's difficult to understand the punishment, but it has to do with our free will. We sort of choose to spend eternity in hell when we reject the saviour.Our sins are so great before the holy God, and it's really the sins that are causing all the pain.. It's like a spiritual law: sin causes death.

    @TriRetribution Well, I know there are similar stories, but the other stories come from ancient babylonia and the sun god worship(baal, nimrod). This idolatry is well known in the Bible. The fact that we celebrate christmas on december 25. is for instance because of the birth of Tammus, Baals son.. That is the sun gods son.. So when Constantin decided that the Roman empire should be christian he melted the christianity with these old false religions. So Jesus was NOT born on december 25.

  • @2323media
    @2323media 13 років тому

    @Agnes135 I don't know how Satan could start to envy God, but I know of some humans who think they are smarter than God, and want to decide how he should judge us and our sins, I guess the devil had a free will too, and he probably didn't quite understand the consequenses of his fall. As unfortunately the society today often excuses sins, cause they don't understand Gods rules. But I agree it's insane not to listen to God himself.
