The glass placement KILLS me. Level 39 flush and you aren't playing your glass face cards first making them x2 x 2 3 times. Wayyyy better than the little +4 mults and the glass at the end.

my man needs to put more respect on that spade-mult joker, adding all that mult before/at the same time as his steel cards, glass cards, multing-face cards, and more was a solid help

Great run, until endless, you just cant afford to take +24ish mult by putting glass face card at the end when you could get x64 your base mult having it our front
Glass facecard in the first slot was better but wouldn't have got you there.
First card gets triggered three times, glass queen multiplies mult by 2 twice per trigger, total of 6 triggers.
Adding in the +3 per trigger from wrathful.
The glass queen in first slot gets you 2812 mult alone.
In last slot the max you can get in current setup is 202 mult, and that is only if you hit all 4 lucky triggers. If you hit none, as you did, you get 102 mult.
Xmult is always better if it gets retriggered, unless you're playing highcard or something where the multiplier begins at nothing and you havent leveled it up at all.
It is only better to mult last if you have no way of otherwise multing your mult.

Why do Wheel of Fortune, Space Joker, Gros Michel etc seem to proc less often than their probability suggests? I'm sure it's a bias/frequency illusion, but has anyone ran the numbers (count attempts/successes) to see if it lines up with rolling a D4 or D6? I roll a 6 far more often than my Gros Michele breaks, but again, I have a bias tinting my glasses. Happens with Baldurs Gate as well, so I digress.
But I thought the old lady threw Madness into the ocean in the end…

I know that he is going to make mistakes by playing too fast, I have excepted this as a part of the Balatro watching experience.
I still can't believe that every single time he takes madness and is looking for eternal jokers, if he has 1 joker that is not eternal that is going to get yeeted - he never just sells that joker for a few $. He must know that madness is still going to "eat" anyway.
He probably thinks that madness picks a Joker to destroy before checking if they're eternal, and therefore that there's a chance to not destroy
It was important to keep the other jokers so that madness didn't target Gross Michel. After that, selling might be the best move, but there's still something to be said about keeping the jokers for their value even if it's just one round.
That was the smallest mistake he did this run, by far.

The allure of using a planet card for +2 mult is far more alluring than keeping it for x1.5 because its very flashy and fun to play rather than hold
optimal to use them until you run into a stake where you need the 2.25x mult considering they’re generated fairly easily with all the blue seals + discards. youtube comments will never be satisfied, i hope you enjoy choking this series to death

@@The1337guy1 just annoying seeing 3000 of the same comment about a misplay. there are other balatro channels to watch where it’s 40 minutes of micromanaging everything to be optimal. that isn’t NL and it never will be.
