Respect to mike, after everything he still holds on to Islam, still identifies as Muslim and says he wanna die Muslim, Mike has grown to be a very wise man he seems to be well read and introspective, and contemplates a lot about life and death, and that’s something I respect a lot even more than what he has accomplished in boxing.
Most of us think like mike, I am guilty of that too, we get carried away chasing worldly goals, goal after goal and it’s never enough, no amount of money is enough, if mike with all his fortune and businesses right now can’t rest from working and give time to god then who can.
you see there mike that’s very true, your family will always love you, they will always remember you but life goes on after we die, they will be busy with life, and their life won’t end when you die, so when it comes to the afterlife, to eternity we have to be a bit selfish, and when i say selfish i don't mean that we don't care about our families or provide for them, that’s a duty for every man in Islam, I’m just saying that prayer have to be a priority in our lives and we have to make time for it during the day, we don’t have another shot at life, once we die the test is over, we gotta make the most of our time, I’m saying this as an advice to myself first because I’m not better than anyone watching this, we have to work for our dunya but never forget our akhira, 70 or 80 years of life is nothing compared to eternity.

At least the information that he’s revealed about himself and to some degree I can relate to a lot of it and even now at 46 I’m still coping with it, but through an Islmic perspective, it’s no excuse . He had the means to get away from the publics eye and live a life of peace and quite but he clearly chooses otherwise and thats something that we will all have to answer for. I don’t know what’s in his heart . I only judged according to what mike speaks and acts out, anything else is between him and Allah.

Allah will not punish people who did not recieve the message of islam correctly and if he die as non muslim and never heard about Islam then remember that Allah is the most just

The first is believe that there is only one god but Allah and prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah (which is muslim or accepted/converted/reverted to islam). The second is do a good deeds. If you only do a good deeds but in your heart you don't believe in Allah and the prophet Muhammad, then at that time you're doing the biggest sin which is shirkk or denying that only Allah is our god. Allah will put you in hellfire forever. All the good deeds you are doing compare to the sin denying Allah is our god and prophet Muhammad is our rasul is so worthless. If you're a muslim but always do a bad things, you're not safe from the punishment of Allah, but there is still a chance to enter jannah/paradise because you still have faith of islam in your heart. You will go through the punishment of Allah after that you can enter jannah. But we hope to enter jannah/paradise without going through the punishment of Allah in the hell. In hellfire you are not live or die, it is only pain.

i had lost the hope in the others and after i read the quran i realize that i need help to correct myself first for after that i can help the others as like my dautgher, i thank to God because my life was changed, praise be to Allah
