I could watch 707s all day long (ok I know its an E3A). Takes me back to my childhood in the 1970s watching BOAC, British Caledonian, Dan Air, Laker, Pan Am, TWA 707s at Manchester. Then at Heathrow then even Miami watching so many different colourful ones. Love the 707s profile, so sleek and sexy. I thought the E3A had been replaced so it is very nice to see these still. Superb footage, thank you.
Most of them are from a well established aviation group. I'm sure if anyone was acting suspiciously, it would be highlighted fairly quickly. Security teams are always close by.
The E3TF is an airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft that is based on the Boeing 707-320 airframe. The E3 Sentry is a modified version of the Boeing 707/320 commercial airframe. So, my understanding is that E3TF is correct.
ol' 'red tail"......no wonder this thing should be taken out of commission! How long has it been since it's had "true" N.D.I., done on it's trunnions, or terminals?

Likewise when i was a kid it was the 707 and DC-8's out of Prestwick. Shooting this footage took re right back there.

Sight for sore eyes, seeing the smokey trials again 😊
1:55+ Noticing the ‘plane spotters’ in the distance: how does airport security check that they’re not potential threats to aircraft?

No such thing as an E3TF, it’s an E-3B “Sentry”. At least know what you are posting on

@@747jdm E3TF is a seldom used Boeing designation for the AWACS; USAF designation is E-3B/C

I would have thought it would be an airworthiness requirement to do regular checks, as with all other aircraft. A rare bird indeed.
