Should take both terminals off if you ground a positive constant wire inside of a plug it's possible to get it to short out with a ground just the positive is a good. For the false sense of security but some vehicles u have to plug power into your power points to not have to get keys reprogrammed to replace the battery more problems they have created to get some work

Pioneer with a maestro wiring harness, pretty simple job, all the parts are linked in the video, I recommend the 6.8 head unit, same frame size, but screen fills out unit more.

You can fix those buttons on the fan/ temp buttons that are rubbed off by searching eBay for some stickers
The spline fitting on the wheel and spindle, can it go on any which way or or is there a unique spline that only allows it to go on in one position? I have a slightly crooked steering wheel and wonder if I can just pull and replace one spline over to straighten it. Thanks for any advice.
As far as I’m aware there is not a specific spline, but if your steering is off you should go get an alignment.
@@CaswellCustoms Thanks, It goes straight no problem down the road just that the wheel was off, I may try pulling and repositioning the steering wheel vs messing with moving the tie rods like I was going to.

Just out of curiosity does steering wheels control buttons still compatible with the Panasonic radio?
You'd have to put the wire kit in to retain steering wheel functions and sounds like door chimes and such

Unfortunately I’m not really sure, I would use a scanner and clear the codes and see if it comes back.

Broken clock spring if I had to guess.
You had to unplug the battery before disconnecting the air bag

Unfortunately the supplier for the materials for the wheel went out of business during 2020. The mold was specific to that company’s raw material so they can no longer produce the wheel.
I have the same truck. Do you know if the shaft is 3/4? I have a hub adapter for quick release which requires 3/4 shaft. Thanks

Ya boy Jbonez the new wheel uses all of your stock parts, controls and airbag all transfer over. Our video shows the whole process of disassembly transfer and reinstall.
