Pop filter foam is very transparent unless compressed, so I doubt it'll make the headset overheat

Unfortunately since this Meta decided not to give us the option of putting up with plosives or handling it like this, and decided to just cut the microphone volume all the way down so it's quiet to mask the plosives. Which is fine if you're *only* talking, but it's now always gonna be drowned out by any game audio.
My mic is extremely quiet in recordings but when i record with OBS and use my mic it sounds completely fine but i can only use my mic in OBS if i am recording steamvr and my mic doesnt work in OBS when casting from oculus
what do i do?
add to the title that you provide a fix for the microphone. or add a mic to the thumbnail. People who will search for a solution for this problem might not click on the video. And I was tempted not to click on the video, as I assumed that it was probably related to you not being able to stream.

@u4f8hfsh498 it’s good, the lack of enterable buildings is a bit of a letdown, I am interested to see what they do with the second half of the map

I highly recommend the antlion wireless Modmic, although no external mics record directly into the Q3 (annoying as hell) I use mine to record all my voice to a PC and then sync it up in post

My mic isnt working AT ALL like i have mic allowed on my gorrilla tag app, i have my microphone on, and i let it in settings but it still doesnt work!

I do not know, unfortunately, I think that may be a network issue or a netcode issue with VR Chat

My wired headset don’t work on the quest 3 only Bluetooth works n I’m tryna play Rainbow on the vr 😪😊
I heard the quest 3 mic has gotten better and will get better

@DJPON369 fortunately though, you can now use external microphones on the Quest using the USB-C, I have a video covering it on the channel
I just want to know how to make my mic louder and sound better cause when music is playing in the background while I’m recording a game and I check the footage I can barley hear myself and I don’t wear a mask
Yeah this happened with the Quest 2 as well, if you’re able to turn down the in-game audio, that helps a bit (especially if you use earbuds)
But also, you have to really project your voice to have it cut over the ingame audio.
I am personally waiting for dedicated volume sliders on recordings for game audio and mic

Does a disposable mask work?
They do, yes. Although I found that disposable masks can sometimes make a crinkle sound when they’re new which gets picked up over the microphone. However if they’re a little older and worn in, they work just as well as the fabric ones.

Unfortunately, the best way you can assist that is by talking much louder and turning down the volume of the game

Tracking is much better than before, I’ve not found myself having as many issues as I had in the past.
That or I’ve just grown accustomed to it

@N3ONEVO to be fair, I don’t really play games like that, so I’ve not ran into issues that would emerge from that
@@N3ONEVOI play gorilla tag on meta quest 3 and I prefer it then the 2 they say the trackings bad but I can play in the pitch dark and have decent tracking and in the light my tracking is perfect even behind my back
Mask on on Mask off.. You Mic seem FAR worse than others I have heard!..
I think there are differences in manufacturing suppliers, my mix does seem much tinnier than others I’ve heard and my pass through isn’t the best compared to others I’ve used

Quest 3 is good but I'm satisfied with q2 for now
If my Q2 wasn’t having so many issues, I would still probably be using it now. Only reason I got the Q3 really
@@Yorickkinda I want to factory reset my headset because there are some annoyances. But I have a lot to back up and I don't really want to have to do all of that but I might. If I do it'll probably be during the big wipe update for GoT.
