Making him, playable non canon would be dumb in my opinion, I would agree that he should be dead but only if the story would not progress for example we would not meet Reina, and she wouldnt be in Tekken 8, or if Jin and Kazuya still had devil forms, since the story progressed by Reina being here and Jin and Kazuya lost devils and Reina also transformed for the devil, then it is good that Heihachi is back because we can find out more. But since He was Brought back to life and didnt survive death, I would not care anyway if story would not progress, because we need to find out how

This whole retcon is insanly bad. I do NOT understand how the didnt go with the route of Mishimas been descendants of the thunder god Raijin/Raiden. Because it was said in the japanese light novel (only released in Japan). You should have stopped carimg when the assasinated both heihachi and kazuya's character in tekken 7. Making heihachi a misjudged character who wanted to get rid of the devil gene throws away 20 plus years of developing him as a ruthless badguy who threw his own son off a cliff to see if he'd be strong enough to surpass him and take over the zaibatsu (not that he'd let him). This in turn character assasinates kazuya in tekken 8 as just being evil for no reason, bc he was born with it, it throws away all his pain and hardship of sacrificing himself to make a deal with devil in order to have the power to defeat his father and avenge his mother. Plus the subconscious deal with the devil he made was the only thing that saved him from death when he got thrown off that cliff. Or how about when they kill jin's character in tekken 6? Ji was supposed to be the one who broke the generational curse of the family, and surpass all the pressures, despite being born with the devil gene he would overcome it. But instead starting ww3 to bring out the original devil to then kill him was somehow a good idea. This is jin we're talking about. And then in t8 they just act like it never happened and he's supposed to have this anime redemption arc where he just feels bad and then 'believes in himself' again. So actually, the story has been trash ever since tekken 6

What was the Monk doing under the lava. Unless he was immortal or something. He also got killed by Heihachi like a little twig. Story doesn’t make sense as always with tekken stories.
Him losing his memory was executed silly. IMO, It wouldve been more interesting if he feigned amnesia just to learn the star crusher technique to use against Kazuya and Jin. It couldve been just like Death Note where Light pretended to be upstanding and innocent but is really a sly, calculated bastard who prays upon the kindness of others he wholeheartedly sees as pawns.
The extra text files unlocked post dlc, make it clear, that they're the one responsible for his memory loss, Seiryu brainwashed him while he was out for the count essentially. They have a huge giga boner for the star crusher, and figured that snatching the loser of the T7 fight and getting him to unlock the skill and pass it down is their best bet in to succeed in their lifetimes. They knew they were playing with fire, knew the risks and it unsurprisingly bit them on the ass.

What i find absolutely ridiculous is that Heihachi goes on a whole redemption arc during the dlc, litteraly banishes his inner darkness and achive inner peace. Just to have all that character development be erased, via headbutting a meteor. Maybe the story couldve made more sense if he stayed a good guy but i dont fucking know.
Yeah I was really liking good guy Heihachi. Something different than what we normally see. But nah. The writers really want Heihachi and all his evil to live on cause, apparently Jin and Kaz can’t hold this franchise on their own.

Heihachi's return really cheapens not only the impact of his death but Reina's inclusion as well. What was the point of creating Reina to maintain his legacy if he just comes back anyway?
She's just a snoop - a lot like Xigbar from Kingdom Hearts. Reina has intel on pretty much everything, even for her age. She talks cryptically and she's mysterious.
It would be way better if they didn't use him anymore for story mode, just as a playable character and that's it. I think Heihachi is too iconic to be out of a Tekken game, but it would be really wise to just let him out of the story
The real story : Heihachi really died, but he knew Kazuya would kill him, so he trained Reina to awaken the devil genes and then, Reina uses her devil genes to resurect Heihachi, using his dead body found by the monk (the mishima genes saved the body from the lava) And now, we have Heihachi vs Kazuya and Reina vs Jin with the help of Jun to counter the devil gene... Harada : He aint dead...
I have a better one, don't bring Heihachi back. Give Reina a big brother(Senhachi) with the same Heihachi moveset and similar hair style but not blad. As for story Reina will have a competitor, and Senhachi was the one who Heihachi liked more so he told about his motives and Senhachi will also have same motives. Senhachi joins Tekken Monks in order to learn the ultimate Mishima Technique but they will not be aware of his true motives. Reina will try to stop his Big Brother but couldn't so she would ask Jin for help, and then we FIGHT
The monks haven’t been mentioned once in the tekken series before but they’ve been around from the start It’s just lazy writing, they’re always retconning story basically ruined what it used to be Dark and grounded like in Tekken 4

Heihachi SHOULDVE stayed dead. It should've been Kazuya VS Reina VS Jin with Jun. With all the other characters You could've continued to have Heihachi in T8 just keep him dead.

@@liu3chanbecause Tekken 8’s Story did have something promising like Jin turning good again, the setup in the first chapter 1 was well executed same goes to Jin and Kazuya’s rematch in chapter 15, the non DLC story had something going for it but unfortunately most of the chapters were lacking something that makes it great which resulted the story mode being mediocre at best. It could’ve been better, it could even be the best Tekken story we had for the last decade or so but that’s not case.

Tekken's bologna in the past at least showed potential to get back on track, and nobody can blame them for T7 considering how low their budget was. Even T8's main story was fairly decent and further convinced me that they wouldn't pull stupid shenanigans like this DLC did.
Another reason why the whole Tekken Monks thing is dumb, why didn't they teach/resurrect Jinpachi given that he's the 1 of the only 2 good Mishimas? Even way before Tekken 1, they could have helped him. How about Lars? These Tekken Monks have supposedly been around long enough to know that Lars is a Mishima too. So why not teach and train the only other Mishima that's been proven not to be evil like the others?

The buffed Monk hated Heihachi but he knew that after kazuya punch Heihachi will be hit by Amnesia. So all was according to the Buffed Monks plan. Basically he will return as another DLC character which we know as Marduk
They never retconned Jin. It’s clear as day the whole T8 story was about him atoning for his sins in T6. If it was a retcon they would’ve never mentioned what he did in T6. I just don’t understand why people want Jin to stay evil. The guy was always a good guy he was only bad for one game.
The one thing I couldn’t stand about Jin’s lore is his ending in Tekken 5, we know what that means after Tekken 6 happened but when you consider it on Tekken 5 alone it makes no sense, no context no nothing, it still bugs me how that went from Jin defeating Jinpachi to him in a chair smirking like twirling moustache villain.

Still doesn't excuse his attitude during T6 though. He drastically felt out of character. Even after Azazel was "presumably" defeated, Jin still acted like an asshole when Alisa was in Lars' arms. Like bro, Azazel was defeated, you don't have to pretend to be a dick anymore. Doesn't matter anyways because now we're back to T4 status quo. Jin is a good guy again, while Heihachi is a dick once more. We don't know what's going on with Kazuya, (maybe Jun took him) but it's easy to assume that Kazuya is also still a dick.

Yeah that's what I understood too. I can understand the hatred for Heihachi but at this point I feel like we shouldn't expect them to kill off one of the most iconic villains. Was I disappointed with the way they handled his return? Yeah but the gameplay however redeemed it for me a bit. I'm glad they allowed to play as the villain in a story mode again. Anyone can disagree with me. At the end of the day thus is my opinion.

He's a guest character and if you look at the Tekken 7 story, he can be ignored/removed because there's no impact or heavy involvement and he's basically just a filler. Him fighting Kazuya, Heihachi and have a promise with Kazumi is a filler too.
I won't hold my breath regarding COTW, and even if it's a good story, it will only be the "last hope" for Japanese fighting games, because we already have MK, which has ALWAYS been amazing and still is
I don't think anyone would've minded Heihachi's resurrection if it was written in a believable way, as this retcon basically boils down to a "nuh uh". They could've went with confirming that he did fall into the volcano but managed to climb out of it with severe burns, and was found by the Tekken monks afterwards. I know it's probably stupider than the retcon but Heihachi is known for being incredibly tenacious. Or better yet, they could've made him return in the gameplay but not the story, like in Tekken 5. TLDR: If they wanted to bring back Heihachi, they should've done it WAY differently instead of retconning it. And why is his stage an extra 5 bucks?
Watch as they repeat a Tekken 2 situation where Kazuya leaves Jun *again* to fight Heihachi *again* and dies *again* making him unplayable for the next 2 or 3 Tekken games.
He was supposed to be done for completely unfortunately. Tekken 2 is where the real story ends for me. Between the comics back then & the game... i was completely sold that Kazuya was meant to have a tragic and abrupt end. When mishimas find love, they die.

I expected a whole flashback arc where we see how Heihachi got so strong and when he did have time to train Reina. Not some failed villain redemption arc.
If they really Retconned Heihachi's death, Heihachi HAS to kill Kazuya to really end the Mishima story But with Reina, Jun and maybe other things like Ogre ect, the story can be interesting (if they do I right)
Kazuya killing Heihachi back in Tekken 7 was a perfect send off for Heihachi, because Heihachi paved the way for Jin and Kazuya to fight each other in Tekken 8, plus it makes sense if the Tekken story is finished because, both Jin and Kazuya lost the devil gene, and the two had a epic final fight.
I know Lee’s technology could have easily slowed frame per frame to see if Heihachi fell. As for Kazuya his keen sense of eyes would have been able to see Heihachi did not fall. Dumb plot hole

The only other thing I can think of is that 1 of the monks or the monk leader sensed a threat so great coming in the future, that they felt reviving heihachi,good or evil, is the only or best option. This can lead to either a redemption arc or something similar, if he doesn’t regain his memories.

You got some points but i will say, they saw hehachi as a perfect warrior, and they also mention that their plan from the beginning was to manipulate him into forgetting his past.
I dont play tekken for the story. I think most people would agree that the story is just corny. It's fun, but it's not the greatest story ever told. You just watch it with your brain turned off and just enjoy it as if you were a child. At least, that's how i see it. Despite that, I think they could drastically improve on many things. For one, the voice acting sounds soulless most of the time, and it's more apparent in the heihachi story that was obviously more rushed than the main story. The narrative could also improve, but at this point, it's way beyond saving, I think. Heihachi coming back prabably wasn't supposed to happen, but it could at least make more sense than the story we got. The problem is that there is no prewritten script, and they just glue new stuff together, making the story incoherent
It’s ironic because Tekken did have compelling story pre Tekken 6 and even great ones from Tekken 1 and 2 which has most of its lore locked into the game manuals, specifically Japanese Game Manuals for Tekken 2.

Look I like the story dlc. But I agree. This was kinda ridiculous how they went about “resurrecting” him. I wish he would’ve stayed dead period. But if they HAD to bring him back, then in my opinion, they should’ve just had Reina join forces with the Tekken Monks and use whatever resources(and the sorcery of the monks)to create a clone of Heihachi that retained all the previous Heihachi’s memories as well as abilities. Or, even better, a CYBER HEIHACHI.
What I expected from Tekken 8, Kazuya's confrontation with Jin's longer, Kazuya reunited with Jun, Jun had big role, Jin's chemistry with Xiaoyu (kinda done right in main story) and Hwoarang, Kazuya's rivalry with Paul Phoenix....that's all I wanted for Tekken 8.
The way i'd fix the story would be completely removing tekken 6 entirely. Then id make tekken 7 into tekken 6, WITHOUT the heihachi redemption and devil gene retcon. You can still give him some nuance and maybe show regret right before he dies, alla zabuza style. But ultimately they fight and heihachi dies. Boom, NOW you can do tekken 8, which would be tekken 7, but make kazuya more nuanced and not do evil shit just for the sake of being evil, he always had a reason for his actions, let him have an evil monologue while he figjts jin explaining why he has to be the way he is, so thay jin can retort with his own argument on why he shouldnt be that way! Plus reina can come in as well to avenge her father only to discover who he really was and then she becomes conflicted. Boom i just fixed the story.
If there was a story that was heihachi actually being resurrected by using something like the azarus pit from batman. Reina finds heihachis body and resurects him using this pit the monks had somewhere in the mountains. But no. He just survives

The Tekken Monks literally sealed away Heihachi's memories to create a warrior with a pure heart, mind and body, to perfect the Mishima style and transform villain to hero. Also, Heihachi said that he had returned from the depths of hell. He did die in Tekken 7. Kazuya had stopped his heart, remember? His body did hit the lava and the Tekken Monks had lied to him. Also, the story DLC's menu, after completion, showcases a lot of stories that answer long-asked questions about the Hachijo Clan, Jun Kazama, Angel, the Devil Gene and the Tekken Monks.
Now because of Heihachi is in Tekken 8 now, they made more Akuma canon in Tekken 7 given of how he distracted Kazuya during the Heihachi's fall, whilst the monk able to catch without being seen...
Geese Howard was "brought back" as Nightmare Geese, so he could still be played with after his death. Bison's return makes more sense because his soul constantly returns to new bodies. This route for Heihachi is like if someone grabbed Geese when he was falling to his death. Just dumb.
I thought the monks were going to be dedicated followers of Heihachi who were also working with Reina but instead were nice monks. By making them nice it makes no sense why they would help & believe he will be good. Also just cuz these monks were living in seclusion doesn’t mean they wouldn’t have known about Heihachi as Heihachi had global hate & recognition.
Best way to continue with the story is heihachi become a threat jin cant beat alone.so Jun basically gives both jin and kazuya family therapy and they team up in and 2v2 jin/kazuya vs/heihachi/reina. And rhe good gius win obviously and the mishimas finally get their happy ending with Jin jun snd kazuya being family👍
the story was fine in the beginning imo it was simple a story of revenge and how one hateful act begets another and another until the pursuit of revenge becomes bigger then justice and taints the future......no genetic nonsense or anything else
As much I love tekken8 I was really hoping for a good reason for why heihachi returned it's so bad in my opinion that I rather stick with the fact the even the characters thought he was messing and for us fans thinking that he was dead . I also had thoughts about heihachi on a idea that he would come back I knew that most of the fans wanted his return but I think his come back has been very redundant over the years he dies the next he comes back always a redo over and over gain which made no sense to me it's like the story could not make up it's mind to keep him dead . Now I'm wondering if this time in tekken 8 he will be killed .
I think all this retconning happening, probably for the reason HARAda may want to bring several characters from the archives lol I would love to see Bruce Irvin, Baek Do Dan, Wang, Armor King, Forest Law and a lot other good names come back . I know, I know, the story has been shaky since T5 and “HEI” was supposed to be dead, and a lot of characters endings were kinda animated. But I do love the game mechanics regardless who’s buffed and/or nerfed. I solely play all Tekken titles for the fact, I enjoy fighting and it feels like an action movie to me every time I play online or local. Win or lose.
9:11 Kazuya's devil form (glitch or devs purpose) shows up before the fight start so i won't be surprised if they are gonna simply say they still have the devil gene after the fight.
As well Heihachi seems to be weird in other ways like they give Heihachi all sorts of extra powers including a god mode and there seems to be two sides to Heihachi a respectful warrior and then of course. Heihachi seems to have a way to survive incredible destruction without seemingly having any external factors making him more invincible like Ethan being able to function because he's infected with Mold. A man so Evil he could be construed as an alternate version of Kazuya with devil powers swapped out for god powers. He seems to wield the powers of multiple Mishimas in their pure form but remains a Legendary evil. Reina manages to have a good relationship with him but I have mixed feelings about this DLC invader despite purchasing him I am also bad at him which doesn't help matters.

You should have stopped carimg when the assasinated both heihachi and kazuya's character in tekken 7. Making heihachi a misjudged character who wanted to get rid of the devil gene throws away 20 plus years of developing him as a ruthless badguy who threw his own son off a cliff to see if he'd be strong enough to surpass him and take over the zaibatsu (not that he'd let him).
This in turn character assasinates kazuya in tekken 8 as just being evil for no reason, bc he was born with it, it throws away all his pain and hardship of sacrificing himself to make a deal with devil in order to have the power to defeat his father and avenge his mother. Plus the subconscious deal with the devil he made was the only thing that saved him from death when he got thrown off that cliff.
Or how about when they kill jin's character in tekken 6? Ji was supposed to be the one who broke the generational curse of the family, and surpass all the pressures, despite being born with the devil gene he would overcome it. But instead starting ww3 to bring out the original devil to then kill him was somehow a good idea. This is jin we're talking about. And then in t8 they just act like it never happened and he's supposed to have this anime redemption arc where he just feels bad and then 'believes in himself' again.

The extra text files unlocked post dlc, make it clear, that they're the one responsible for his memory loss, Seiryu brainwashed him while he was out for the count essentially. They have a huge giga boner for the star crusher, and figured that snatching the loser of the T7 fight and getting him to unlock the skill and pass it down is their best bet in to succeed in their lifetimes.
They knew they were playing with fire, knew the risks and it unsurprisingly bit them on the ass.

What i find absolutely ridiculous is that Heihachi goes on a whole redemption arc during the dlc, litteraly banishes his inner darkness and achive inner peace. Just to have all that character development be erased, via headbutting a meteor. Maybe the story couldve made more sense if he stayed a good guy but i dont fucking know.

Senhachi joins Tekken Monks in order to learn the ultimate Mishima Technique but they will not be aware of his true motives.

It could’ve been better, it could even be the best Tekken story we had for the last decade or so but that’s not case.

The one thing I couldn’t stand about Jin’s lore is his ending in Tekken 5, we know what that means after Tekken 6 happened but when you consider it on Tekken 5 alone it makes no sense, no context no nothing, it still bugs me how that went from Jin defeating Jinpachi to him in a chair smirking like twirling moustache villain.

Was I disappointed with the way they handled his return? Yeah but the gameplay however redeemed it for me a bit. I'm glad they allowed to play as the villain in a story mode again. I don't think anyone would've minded Heihachi's resurrection if it was written in a believable way, as this retcon basically boils down to a "nuh uh".
They could've went with confirming that he did fall into the volcano but managed to climb out of it with severe burns, and was found by the Tekken monks afterwards. I know it's probably stupider than the retcon but Heihachi is known for being incredibly tenacious. Or better yet, they could've made him return in the gameplay but not the story, like in Tekken 5.
TLDR: If they wanted to bring back Heihachi, they should've done it WAY differently instead of retconning it.
And why is his stage an extra 5 bucks?
Watch as they repeat a Tekken 2 situation where Kazuya leaves Jun *again* to fight Heihachi *again* and dies *again* making him unplayable for the next 2 or 3 Tekken games.

I expected a whole flashback arc where we see how Heihachi got so strong and when he did have time to train Reina. Not some failed villain redemption arc.

If they really Retconned Heihachi's death, Heihachi HAS to kill Kazuya to really end the Mishima story
But with Reina, Jun and maybe other things like Ogre ect, the story can be interesting (if they do I right)
Kazuya killing Heihachi back in Tekken 7 was a perfect send off for Heihachi, because Heihachi paved the way for Jin and Kazuya to fight each other in Tekken 8, plus it makes sense if the Tekken story is finished because, both Jin and Kazuya lost the devil gene, and the two had a epic final fight.

The only other thing I can think of is that 1 of the monks or the monk leader sensed a threat so great coming in the future, that they felt reviving heihachi,good or evil, is the only or best option. This can lead to either a redemption arc or something similar, if he doesn’t regain his memories.

You got some points but i will say, they saw hehachi as a perfect warrior, and they also mention that their plan from the beginning was to manipulate him into forgetting his past.
It was bad writing since Tekken 6. The story overall just took a nosedive and only got worse with each installment.
I dont play tekken for the story. I think most people would agree that the story is just corny. It's fun, but it's not the greatest story ever told. You just watch it with your brain turned off and just enjoy it as if you were a child. At least, that's how i see it. Despite that, I think they could drastically improve on many things. For one, the voice acting sounds soulless most of the time, and it's more apparent in the heihachi story that was obviously more rushed than the main story. The narrative could also improve, but at this point, it's way beyond saving, I think. Heihachi coming back prabably wasn't supposed to happen, but it could at least make more sense than the story we got. The problem is that there is no prewritten script, and they just glue new stuff together, making the story incoherent
It’s ironic because Tekken did have compelling story pre Tekken 6 and even great ones from Tekken 1 and 2 which has most of its lore locked into the game manuals, specifically Japanese Game Manuals for Tekken 2.

Look I like the story dlc. But I agree. This was kinda ridiculous how they went about “resurrecting” him. I wish he would’ve stayed dead period. But if they HAD to bring him back, then in my opinion, they should’ve just had Reina join forces with the Tekken Monks and use whatever resources(and the sorcery of the monks)to create a clone of Heihachi that retained all the previous Heihachi’s memories as well as abilities. Or, even better, a CYBER HEIHACHI.
What I expected from Tekken 8, Kazuya's confrontation with Jin's longer, Kazuya reunited with Jun, Jun had big role, Jin's chemistry with Xiaoyu (kinda done right in main story) and Hwoarang, Kazuya's rivalry with Paul Phoenix....that's all I wanted for Tekken 8.
The way i'd fix the story would be completely removing tekken 6 entirely. Then id make tekken 7 into tekken 6, WITHOUT the heihachi redemption and devil gene retcon. You can still give him some nuance and maybe show regret right before he dies, alla zabuza style. But ultimately they fight and heihachi dies. Boom, NOW you can do tekken 8, which would be tekken 7, but make kazuya more nuanced and not do evil shit just for the sake of being evil, he always had a reason for his actions, let him have an evil monologue while he figjts jin explaining why he has to be the way he is, so thay jin can retort with his own argument on why he shouldnt be that way! Plus reina can come in as well to avenge her father only to discover who he really was and then she becomes conflicted. Boom i just fixed the story.
If there was a story that was heihachi actually being resurrected by using something like the azarus pit from batman. Reina finds heihachis body and resurects him using this pit the monks had somewhere in the mountains.
But no. He just survives

The Tekken Monks literally sealed away Heihachi's memories to create a warrior with a pure heart, mind and body, to perfect the Mishima style and transform villain to hero. Also, Heihachi said that he had returned from the depths of hell. He did die in Tekken 7. Kazuya had stopped his heart, remember? His body did hit the lava and the Tekken Monks had lied to him. Also, the story DLC's menu, after completion, showcases a lot of stories that answer long-asked questions about the Hachijo Clan, Jun Kazama, Angel, the Devil Gene and the Tekken Monks.
Now because of Heihachi is in Tekken 8 now, they made more Akuma canon in Tekken 7 given of how he distracted Kazuya during the Heihachi's fall, whilst the monk able to catch without being seen...
Geese Howard was "brought back" as Nightmare Geese, so he could still be played with after his death.
Bison's return makes more sense because his soul constantly returns to new bodies.
This route for Heihachi is like if someone grabbed Geese when he was falling to his death. Just dumb.
The fact that they gave the most GODAWFUL retcon is ABSOLUTELY crazy. They basically made Kazuya a fraud. A FRAUD!
I thought the monks were going to be dedicated followers of Heihachi who were also working with Reina but instead were nice monks. By making them nice it makes no sense why they would help & believe he will be good. Also just cuz these monks were living in seclusion doesn’t mean they wouldn’t have known about Heihachi as Heihachi had global hate & recognition.
They basically did a timeline reset for Heihachi in Tekken 8
Once again a case of randomly insert characters to steal roles from others who came before. Tekken Monks replace Hachijo Clan in between sequels.

Best way to continue with the story is heihachi become a threat jin cant beat alone.so Jun basically gives both jin and kazuya family therapy and they team up in and 2v2 jin/kazuya vs/heihachi/reina. And rhe good gius win obviously and the mishimas finally get their happy ending with Jin jun snd kazuya being family👍

the story was fine in the beginning imo it was simple a story of revenge and how one hateful act begets another and another until the pursuit of revenge becomes bigger then justice and taints the future......no genetic nonsense or anything else
As much I love tekken8 I was really hoping for a good reason for why heihachi returned it's so bad in my opinion that I rather stick with the fact the even the characters thought he was messing and for us fans thinking that he was dead . I also had thoughts about heihachi on a idea that he would come back I knew that most of the fans wanted his return but I think his come back has been very redundant over the years he dies the next he comes back always a redo over and over gain which made no sense to me it's like the story could not make up it's mind to keep him dead . Now I'm wondering if this time in tekken 8 he will be killed .
I think all this retconning happening, probably for the reason HARAda may want to bring several characters from the archives lol I would love to see Bruce Irvin, Baek Do Dan, Wang, Armor King, Forest Law and a lot other good names come back . I know, I know, the story has been shaky since T5 and “HEI” was supposed to be dead, and a lot of characters endings were kinda animated. But I do love the game mechanics regardless who’s buffed and/or nerfed. I solely play all Tekken titles for the fact, I enjoy fighting and it feels like an action movie to me every time I play online or local. Win or lose.
9:11 Kazuya's devil form (glitch or devs purpose) shows up before the fight start so i won't be surprised if they are gonna simply say they still have the devil gene after the fight.
As well Heihachi seems to be weird in other ways like they give Heihachi all sorts of extra powers including a god mode and there seems to be two sides to Heihachi a respectful warrior and then of course.
Heihachi seems to have a way to survive incredible destruction without seemingly having any external factors making him more invincible like Ethan being able to function because he's infected with Mold.
A man so Evil he could be construed as an alternate version of Kazuya with devil powers swapped out for god powers.
He seems to wield the powers of multiple Mishimas in their pure form but remains a Legendary evil.
Reina manages to have a good relationship with him but I have mixed feelings about this DLC invader despite purchasing him I am also bad at him which doesn't help matters.
The Tekken Monk thing was a cool idea, they could’ve just made a new character who’s the head Tekken monk and plays similarly to Heihachi
