    Body:
    Ch6, sl st into first ch
    Ch4, dc into loop, ch 2, dc into loop
    Ch4, turn, (dc into loop, ch 2)* dc into second ch
    Repeat for 50-60 rows or until desired size
    Finishing:
    Ch1, sc into each st (2sc into loop, 1sc into dc)*, sc into second ch
    Baubles: ch4, slst into first 3 sc, insert into dc
    (yarn over, pull up loop, yarn over, pull first first loop *3 to make a ch3), yarn over, pull through both loops
    Sl into next 2 sc, repeat "bauble stitch"
    Fasten off, weave in ends

      I crochet but this is my 1st toy hammock & I loved the simplicity - thanks !!
      But on the border i jus did 1 scr in ea space & 1 scr in dble top. It turned out smooth looking. 4 scr on ea corner sp.

    Thank you so much for this video!! You are a great teacher and made it so easy to follow along! I’ve tried to crochet before but get frustrated and lost patience lol. I started this Saturday and finished it and got it hung up Sunday! Sooo excited to show my boyfriend’s daughter her new place for her stuffies 🥰 I also made some tassels with a different color yarn to add to the front and love it so much

    i wish i could like a video more than once ! thank you so so much for this !! my brain really struggles to translate seeing someone do something -> understanding what they're doing -> understanding how to do it -> doing it myself. i've tried to look at crochet tutorials but i almost always end up clicking off within the first couple minutes because i feel lost. and, true, i had to watch the beginning part of the video five or so times, write out notes in my own words, but it's happening!! it's finally happening !! this is the first thing i have Ever Crocheted, other than a single line of chains. thank you so much for being so clear, slow, patient, and even repetitive at times (i really needed it lol).
    i can't wait to hang up my little guys!! i might even start a second one tomorrow ^.^

      i think you should try written patterns once you’re comfortable with crochet vocab it helps me more than a video most times :)))

    thank you sooo much for this video! i’ve seen a couple other videos showing how to make these but the tutorials were always over complicated and never explained well. i love how with this one you can stop once you’ve reached your desired size instead of chaining a certain amount to begin. mine already looks great :)

It was super easy to follow, and I was able to complete it within three days (a couple of hours at the time), which for a beginner is not so bad I think lol.       I would try to make one with regular yarn first and if it goes well, attempt a second one in plarn! The plarn was pretty hard to work with

    I used thick plush yarn for this project- it definitely took a long time to fine the chain to dc into but the result was amazing due to this tut.

      I was confused too at the double stitch part into the second chain. after she made the first three holes, I just chained four, turned my work and double crocheted and repeated this process. If you’re still confused, I can send a video if that will help

    Your "bauble" is actually a picot stitch. Just an FYI. It is very simple and cute for the edging.

    Doing the corner bit 2CH Then slip into second V with a double crochet at 12:44 confused me the most (I'm a beginner) I think that's where I messed up because my corners are looking slanted 😢
    Edit: I messed because I didn't turn the project right 🧍🏻‍♀️It changed everything

    Welp I followed everything but mine turned into a circle but as long as it works as intended to hold 26 squishmallows it will be okay but this is so easy to follow along thank you so much for this or I’d have to just run around Google lol

      I use push pins because that's all I have lol but you could probably use those circular hooks that screw into the wall!
