Hillsdale College is an independent institution of higher learning founded in 1844 by men and women “grateful to God for the inestimable blessings” resulting from civil and religious liberty and “believing that the diffusion of learning is essential to the perpetuity of these blessings.” It pursues the stated object of the founders: “to furnish all persons who wish, irrespective of nation, color, or sex, a literary, scientific, [and] theological education” outstanding among American colleges “and to combine with this such moral and social instruction as will best develop the minds and improve the hearts of its pupils.” As a nonsectarian Christian institution, Hillsdale College maintains “by precept and example” the immemorial teachings and practices of the Christian faith.
The College also considers itself a trustee of our Western philosophical and theological inheritance tracing to Athens and Jerusalem, a heritage finding its clearest expression in the American experiment of self-government under law.
By training the young in the liberal arts, Hillsdale College prepares students to become leaders worthy of that legacy. By encouraging the scholarship of its faculty, it contributes to the preservation of that legacy for future generations. By publicly defending that legacy, it enlists the aid of other friends of free civilization and thus secures the conditions of its own survival and independence.
This should have been seen 2 years ago.
Excellent discussion on the conflict of issues between researchers, funders, and policymakers. 1:03:18 "There needs to be a bright wall between scientific funders making decisions about who to fund and their participation in health policy; because that is a deep conflict of interest that silences scientists, creates an illusion of consensus that doesn’t exist, fools the American people, fools the world populations into doing things that are very, very dangerous.” ~ Dr. Jay Bhattacharya
Incredible speech
One of the best conversations I’ve heard to date..
I'm always enriched when Hillsdale is hosting.
Share this. It explains a lot of why we are in so strange of times.
@@neuuser7071 I would, but the people I know that need to hear it ( liberals) have no attention span… they can only function on the level of Twitter.
@@JSomerled same here.
We feel blessed to have found Steve Deace, Bret Weinstein, and Daniel Horowitz early in 2020. From there we learned of many more intelligent people speaking rationally and pursuing truth over manufactured consensus. And we have usually felt 6-12 months ahead of the rest of the folks… it is an utter tragedy…
Aside from Steve Dease, as you continue to listen to the others you will learn that they too have an agenda outside our founding father's vision for our nation.
I am old, retired now. I am so sad that my country was not and is not a freedom and liberty country.
As long as you have air in your lungs you cannot give up...🙂 You may find it actually makes you live longer! All of the knowledge I have attained in life has culminated in this very time and I'm glad to be here! also retired and disabled, spinal! 🙂 It's better than chasing around grand kids lol
Note (kindly suggested) that your claim could be made by any number of philosophies.
Did you lockdown? Just curious. Because if you did, you failed your country.
Thank the CHOSEN Ones for that
5 out of 8 comments send sirred here so far
Thank you all for persisting in speaking out even in the face of a lot of professional and unfortunately personal backlash. I watch anything I can find from these very knowledgeable scientists!
Germany failed, too.
It is unfathomable how children
and human beings in general
have been treated.
14 minutes in, and Im hoping you mention Remdesivir and misuse of ventillators
Thank you so much for establishing the Academy for Science and Freedom!
Why is truth true? What is the basis of reality? Which way is up? This is the greatest conversation 🙌 👏 👌 ❤
This was a wonderfully educational discussion. Thank you.

Lets Also talk about incintives American hospitals received per every diagnosed covid patient who died OR was placed on ventilators
17:47 "That's the reality that the other side never talks about."
That's the reality they will never acknowledge. There may never be an accounting nor an admission of failure, even as restrictions and mandates are moderated and redesigned for implementation. There will be perpetual distraction and sleight of narrative to avoid responsibility--responsibility that will be shifted and applied to other, opposing actions. Unfortunately, the latter are numerous and political, as lockdown opposition tries to take advantage of the division.
Voices of science and reason as expressed at this colloquium await popular and political dominance to make anything but mild objection to the takeover by ... by what forces? Forces composed of mass formation error and a dire need for strong leadership. Our institutions were never perfect, but how did we give up (give in) so easily to the seduction of authoritarianism, which led to totalitarian capture (admit it for now) of our institutional culture? Simply, here we go again.
Thank you, Hillsdale and like-minded scientists, philosophers, and journalists to keeping a path open to freedom--if only we will seize it within our constitutional means.
TRANSPARENCY AND AN OPEN PUBLIC FORUM TO ANSWER THE PUBLICS QUESTIONS.
This is very illuminating.
Kulldorff is hilarious! Who knew Swedish biostats were so funny? More Kulldorff.

Lets talk about the many people who died in nursing homes from midazolam poisoning.
I will never trust our healthcare system again. Retired ASN RN C.
Origin, meaning, morality, and destiny
Excess deaths?
Explained.
Interesting that no studies kind of mentioned here from Switzerland. Small wealthy country.... something missing?
Social chat platform for people working in health system and science
I really like Dr Atlas...........but he was there and did not stop all the Gestapo stuff. Right ???
He talks about this in the presentation.
It's epic
Might not like the results but we must be honest about it
Pharmaceutical export leader Switzerland... could be because of that

Ok, now we can look at this under a microscope
Make science practical. The adversary does,
Just be honest for once, Dang😔
It's laughable if you really think UA-cam is going to let you upload videos during an election cycle..I told you once I'll tell you again go to Rumble with all your videos 😛
Is Jesus the scientist? I feel like it’s Jesus.
Let's talk about all the serpents posing as human gutting humanity from the inside that work at Hillsdale
