Namibia is beautiful, I'm from Namibia and yes though it may have the farmland, savanna and wildlife, its also known as the place where the desert meets the sea. But its also very modern only difference is that we have a small population.. A great place to visit indeed

As a Namibian and African it is really sad to see so many hateful, ignorant, and racist comments. Granted, most are just a bunch of trolls craving some much needed attention, whether good or bad. However, some actually post what they were taught to believe. Racism is not something you are born with, it is something you learn.
Actually babies react differently to pictures of other races. This does not mean that the uglier forms of racism are inevitable. But it does mean there is something innate in us that recognizes race. Much of what gets labelled racism today is just noticing things that are true.
Yes, but you are taught from a young age that there are acceptable norms in society. Sometimes that education at home isn't enough and people just allow that ugly side of them to grow and take over them. It's fine to have racial thoughts but there is absolutely no need to make them public. :(

& let me make this easy for you. Namibia has all types of races, colour. yes we have buildings , malls, towns, water , electricty everything a normal country has. But ofcourse we also have wildlife which is one of the biggest tourist attraction in the world. So yeah we have it all :)

But then again, they are the same people who get surprised when you tell them that African cities have malls, stadiums etc, they also think that all Africans are dark as hell, that Africa is a country, that all Africans have the same traditions and that all Africans are poor :) The ignorance of American people.

News flash, it's not just one giant country, it's a bloody continent so just because one thing happens in one country it doesn't mean that every other country is the same. I'm South African & we have cats & dogs & fish etc. as pets. not giraffes, we see giraffes at the zoo or at game reserves but we don't raise & herd them.

Im a Namibia, I lived in Canada for three years, traveled almost the whole USA, and 90% of the north american I met have this strange, stereotype about Africa. Their stories about Africa made me think like I dont know Africa myself. I'm not gonna preach how beatifull Namibia or any other Africa country is. If you know you arn't part of the 90% narrow minded american, go to internet, learn n watch youtube video and see the african, its freeee!!! and very much accessible!!!
As a Namibian, it is very disappointing and sad to watch such ignorance! so very sad that our beautiful continent with it's diverse states is seen as one giant country where people live in the bush with wildlife, are poverty-stricken, and uncivilized.
Namibia is a country in southwest Africa. It is diverse in itself starting with race/culture, landscape, infrastructure etc. While we indeed do have wildlife and large farmlands, we also have cities with all the modern amenities! And, we do not have wild animals for pets! And yes, we do have cats and dogs too!
I am proud to be Namibian, a country whose name is certainly not at all hard to pronounce, and I am proud to be African!

Africa is the homeland, the mother of the human race, yes we are just one unique race.
Therfore it's very normal that people from around the globe come back to their root, bringing their knowledge to improve and make the continent prosper.
If I was from the government of Namibia, I would take adventage of the economic problem in the United states and invite more hyper qualified professionals, from United States and europe.
I would invest in infrastructure and luxury condos to attack wealthy Asians who can invest 1 millions to creat more jobs.
Namibia is one of the most secure place in Africa, that's what the government should maintain, creat top quality police ,forensics labs, hire security personals.
This country is way better than south africa because of the quality and peaceful nature of its people, maintain that and secure your frontier
