- The Swedish trail runner Petter Restorp takes on the unfathomable challenge of the Tor de Geants (Tour of Giants). With its 330 kilometes and 24 000 meters of vertical gain, this foot race takes the participants around the entirety of the Aosta valley in the Italian alps. Petter shows up with big dreams, but will they come true?

Thank you for watching!
Petter, first of all, incredible achievement to not only complete the entire race but also to place highly. That is an immense accomplishment by itself. Also, thank you to you and your team for documenting, editing and sharing your journey with the world. All of it was very well done. Something I know a lot of runners would appreciate would be some in-depth details about things like your preparations, race strategies (pace, gear hydration, fueling, etc), funny/harrowing stories from events during the race that the camera didn't capture, issues you encountered and how you dealt with them, your post-race recovery...just anything extra you could share. Thank you again and best of luck in whatever you do next.
Thank you very much for your comment and kind words! We all appreciate in the team. Petter wrote a little about his experience on his Instagram after the race, you can find it here instagram.com/petterrestorp/
I'll let him know about your kind words. Thanks again! 🙏
Vilken film! Berörd av både prestationen och av känslan som filmen bringar.
Hatten av till Petter, grymt inspirerande. Och en helt otrolig prestation av crewet som hängde med hela tiden.
Som alltid ett helt otroligt filmskapande. Konst!

Tack Krisse! Uppskattar dina ord ❤️
Amazing film Tobias. What a beast of a race and more so of an athlete. Congrats to Petter, the crew and you!
Thank you Adrián! It was a beast just crewing it, can't even imagine being the one actually running. He is truly a giant!
Amazing movie and great achievement. Kudos!
Thank you 🙏
I remember watching Peter on youtube videos from Kullamannen 100miles years ago when I started to scratch into trail running. I thought of course that was inspirational and almost impossible for me to experience the same paths. I continued running and forgot about Peter. Soon I'll be lining up at my first Kullamannen 100miles and what a great moment to be reminded of my inspiration to get into trail running.
Congratulations on your great achievement 👏🏼🎉👏🏼🎉
Such an experienced crew as well.
Last but not least, a really well made film too.
Keep inspiring, Peter !
Wishing you well 🖖🏼
Such kind words! I'll let Petter know about your comment. He is an inspiration for all of us, not just in this race but in everyday life too, he does things in a way few other people are able to.
Thank you for your kind words, and good luck at Kullamannen 100 miles, I'm sure you'll do great! 💪

Verkligen en jättefin film 💪🏼🤩
Tack så mycket 🙏
what a film, what a performance!
first met Petter at a slide show about his big wall climbing, didn't cross paths again till he took my Strava CR on a segmet whilst he ran Kullamanen 100. tough dude!
Thanks a lot 🙏 Indeed he's one of the toughest we have!
Equipe de Suede for the win! Snyggt jobbat Tobias!
Équipe de Suède levererar alltid. Tack Morgan! 🙏
Fy til helvete gitt, godt gjort! Gratulerer alle sammen.❤
Tack så mycket 🙏
Your movie making skills are truly impressive!
Wow, thank you! 🙏
Great race, great result, but also big respect for making such a great movie out of it. I have to ask one thing, how did Petter attach his poles at his vest? that looked super stable. Did he use this system just for the supply points or also when he was running?
Thank you very much 🙏 It's a homemade system remnant of the way skimo skis are attached on the pack. Basically an elastic loop at the bottom he puts them through first and then a string with a hook on the opposite shoulder he wraps around the poles and attaches the hook in the backpack. He uses it while running as well.
@@tbs.johansson thanks for the quick answer! I will try to copy it ;-) Iam not good at folding and unfolding my poles^^
Good luck, hopefully it works out!
👏👏👏
Merci buddy 🙏
Kilometers are 350 not 330, little difference😂
Officially it's 330k, but your milage may vary 😂
I think I might be the only one who's spoiled by the likes of Billy Yang, but I think I'd like better cinematography / storytelling.
Thank you for the honest feedback!
