I bought a new Sunbeam Mixmaster stand mixer over 20 years ago and it's still going strong. It has the motorized turntable and 450 watts of power. I don't think Sunbeam even makes mixers or kitchen appliances anymore.

A hand mixer is sometimes useful if you have to whip something over boiling water etc...but a stand mixer is so much easier for most kitchen tasks.
