You have to make multiple copies with slightly different names and then play your playlist on SHUFFLE, Adds to the realism. I did this with 1970s "jingles" from a now defunct local radio station, 70's tunes along with 1970s ads mixed in, Sound like a "reasonable" facsimile of listening to the radio then. (only the D.J.s and news are missing)
K Mart should have asked Cole's of Australia which is exactly like what K Mart was to take them over completely which would have not only saved K Mart, but it would have been changed to Cole's in name & there would be 3 instead of 2-Wal-Mart & Target which is much better than Wal-Mart.
In Canada radio station call letters begin with "C". So "CHUB" would be the logical Canadian call sign BUT there is ALREADY a "CHUB", so perhaps "CUBA"?!?, LOL. In the US it's "K" or "W". Oddly if "KMRT" was a REAL radio station, its call letters would have been "WMRT" as it was (then) a Michigan based company. (East/West W/K rule..) and..."WMRT" would be the LAST thing Kmart would have wanted their station to be called, Hell they might have moved their HQ to L.A. Just to get that vaunted "K" in their call letters!
The PrevueCom-General Cinema System, Inc. Not Quite, the real KMart Radio jingle it's from “The Best” by Media General (formerly Pepper Sounds, Pepper Tanner, and The William B. Tanner Company).
@@kazprado5356 CJCB radio in Cape Breton used this same jingle back in the late 1980s: "The best to you from AM Stereo...CJCB!" CJCB radio has been on the AM dial for nine decades...yet Nova Scotia's largest radio market, Metro Halifax, has all FM radio stations for the past decade since AM radio stations no longer exist there!
JAM did VH1 jingles in the early 90s used as commercial break return imagers very well done. When I worked at a radio station they used TM Century which sounded very good. We played them after a commercial break or between songs. We also had pre-produced image liners.
Imagine if you found out that some NBC affiliates used a variant of this same jingle that said: "The best to you from NBC TV… (insert NBC affiliate call sign here)!"
Hey wait, this was the jingle for Skycorp's dating service!

That was the connection I made as well
Yeah, this was the jingle that would play when you went into a Kmart back in the day. Skycorp uses part of it.
If I didn't know better, the sound quality and dropouts with make me think this would be from an 8-track cartridge.
Downloaded this, adding this to my heavy metal playlist.

admittedly, I've done the same with a bunch of pontiac commercials. Sprinkle in some 80s songs and I have a pretty convincing radio station, lol
Same!!
People Are Sad To See Them Close
At least Kmart Radio is way better than Walmart Radio. 🙂

True story but complicated but basically me liking this Radio jingle turned into going horse and then having a mild cold. It’s a crazy story.

It's a recurring thing where sam would have to suffer listing through Kmart radio so when he has to it plays this jingle and cuts out
I believe this jingle was made at JAM Creative Productions of Dallas. I hope they have an HQ version of this jingle.
