When I first started playing this game I got really frustrated trying to create areas. Now, because of these tips and tutorial videos, I finally have calming fun with this game. I can let my creativity flow and enjoy sometimes just watching the animals play around the park. thank you for making this game fun!

Thank you so much for the no collusion tip. My enclosures always get so ugly because of the gap between my barrier and the terrain

I mean the whole time I was going "That looks soooo goood!!! This is gonna make my builds so much better! Oooh, I love that!" When you got to the part abotu removing terrain constraints and being able to cover walls I swear, my day got 100% better, because I'd been struggling and constantly annoyed by not being able to edit the land without having to delete a fence, move an enrichment item, and etc. I finally told myself to stop being so stubborn and just watch a tip video, and I was not disappointed!

Thank you for this Lady! ❤️ 600 hours into the game and just learnt how to finally properly do the mud pillar technique! And didn’t know shops could be apart from paths. Bending the first barrier with Z is also a nice, not-so-obvious tip that took me a while to know too! Also I never knew recolouring worked only in groups, could never figure out before when it did/didn’t work! Ps. You are great at explaining things in a simple and clear manner :) FINALLY I UNDERSTAND! ❤️ haha /wall of text

@@jakeosiris3971 I had the same problem, so I started playing in career mode, where everything is mostly done, you just need to add some adjusments in later stages, yet the challenge mode is really nice and you can focus more on animals and learning the mechanism of the game without having to focus too much on building. It really made it easier for me to learn how to operate the game both strategically and with building so I recommend it :)

Thank you so much for your tutorials. I do enjoy Planet Zoo a lot, but the general building (and especially path building) system is so overcomplicated and frustrating, that it was impossible for me to figure it out on my own. Just got this game last night 11/24/21 on steam. There’s a Black Friday Sale for base game for $13.00. The premium bundle is on sale from $120 to $57 until December 1st. And you get ALL the DLC. Totally worth it, and I’m currently doing the tutorials and having so much fun. I feel like it’s got quite a learning curve, but if you stick to it and try, it’s really fun. And you learn about the animals and conservation efforts as well; which is educating and enriching to oneself. I’m hooked. There’s just so many cool tools and tons of creative ways to build. I love it.

Thanks, ctrl x to copy instead of ctrl d, I had no idea about it after 120 hours! A hint in return: when you show an example, instead of "imagine there is a path here" and "habitat here", build that too! It's like 30 seconds tops. Someone might not know that your fence doesn't count as habitat fence without null border. :)

The reason for the pieces not moving perfectly straight at 5:26 is due to the orientation mode you have set. You were translating the piece using the world orientation instead of the piece orientation. So the piece moved correctly on the world z axis, instead of the piece z axis. This can be configured using the central outer button on the building context menu :D

omfg. i always love your buildings and stuff, its so inspirational BUT ... i was like ":O" when i saw the options in the game settings... i am crying. XD all the struggle i had! omfg... also the mud pillar thing,i never really did it like that (i usually just copied the one side and flipped it,without the pillar in the middle) but i guess that works too? gonna try it out. another thing thats gonna make my life much much easier is the bending of the fences... i usually never used bended fences bc of this issue and rather make my own fence with hidden fences xD so thank you so so much for letting us plebs know

I remember few months ago I was soooo frustrated trying to build without the duplicate-move tips, because litteraly I couldn't place things even and I just couldn't make "clean" structures. So I only had zoos that looked like a bunch of ruin, it wasn't bad but I really wanted to make some clean cages for my monkeys, some fences that don't look half broken, y'know :')
