Aww loving being back on here watching your videos Rachel, I've missed them ....like you I'm a list person so a list for everything, I even have a list for what I want to watch on TV, I have a hour going through the TV mag when it's released because there has been many a year ive forgotten something was on I wanted to watch.....lts great to see some Christmas things around in the shops i can't wait to get some more bits.....I've done well so far, and even picked up some shortbread and crackers for cheese this weekend to get my food box started....I definitely remember and miss the old fashioned decorations there just so homely... I am a Christmas card person bug I do know it's dying out ...tickets already bought for a Christmas carol, we always go to a local one but also a tradition we have is to go to the old Vic in London to see It, it's just magical....elf already booked too with work girls.... keep up the fantastic Christmas content I'm loving it and can't wait for the next one....xxxx

It's lovley to have you back watching again. We don't get the tv mag anymore but we do get one at Christmas and still circle what we want to watch. I remember arguing with my brother about what to watch but there was only four channels then. Haha. You are getting super organised with Christmas items and getting things booked. I am booking panto at the weekend and when the santa tickets are released in September I will be ready to book then. Can't wait to share more Christmas content with you and take you around the shops and the festive fair in November too xx

I miss making paperchains and snowflakes with glitter. My daughter loved that. Also collecting pine cones and decorating then and making them part of our Christmas decs.

I loved doing that as a child with my Mum, I did it with my son when he was much younger but he doesn't seem interested so much now. I plan on making Disney ones for the countdown of our cruise though xx

Tesco have already started stocking the tubs of sweets roses quality street celebrations etc. I will get these bought in the next couple of weeks. I do the store cupboard stock up pre christmas as i generally eat the same things its easy to just pop in a extra one so then the christmas shop is mainly all christmas and normal fruit and veg bakery bits and milk and dairy it just makes it less overwhelming it you have the basics covered px

Yes exactly, it does make it less overwhelming and I can get overwhelmed very easily. I'm glad I'm not the only one that does this too xx

I dont go anywhere special over christmas so i ensure i have stocked up on christmas books from the charity shop just like your mum i enjoy them any time if the year. Also i do go to some kid friendly events with my sister and her 4 wee ones so my christmas jumper hat scarf and gloves come out and from 1st dec the christmas pjs come out too and i treat myself to at least one local panto to keep my christmas spirit alive . Also i do a little hamper of christmas homemade bakes to my local pensioners club and spend some time with them and have a cuppa .... i still do this although the girls dont come along anymore i think its a great example for them . Its amazing the number of eldery people who are alone and even on christmas day. I am actually thinking of volunteering at my local food bank which cooks and gives out a christmas lunch on christmas day i have to see how my girls would feel about this and off course health depending . Exciting times ahead . Love u 2vlog the nec event px

That's great you go to kid friendly events with family there is nothing better than seeing kids light up at Christmas. I love panto and I think even when mybson has outgrown them I will still go as they are so much fun. I love the idea of baking for the elderly and volunteering at Christmas you are such a kind person and an inspiration. I may even see if I can do some baking for the elderly over Christmas too xx

Ive asked my ex husband if he would like to have oscar for christmas dinner this year. Hes ummed and ahhed but i think he will have him as it his first christmas in his new home. I wokt be buying all the snacks and treats this year just a few as we didnt eat them last year and now me being tyoe 2 diabetic i cant have as much as i was doing lol. Im debating giving money to the grown ups this year i have 11 adults, 7 kids including oscar and 10 teachers at school to buy for so tryjng to save on gifts where i can and temu will be a big help lol! I am so excited for christmas i will put the tree up early and add to it as i go. X

That will be nice for him and Oscar to gage Christmas dinner together. Will you be with family or will you have some alone time? I am not buying as many snacks this year as like you said it usually goes to waste plus the shops are open a couple of days later. That's a lot of people to buy for I have 5 adults, 3 children and only 2 teachers this year. I give money or vouchers to the adults I find the restaurant vouchers are always well received and a them gift for the teachers with a bigger gift in the summer xx
