Does Loudness Normalization work the same way when it comes to adjusting the degree? Does it stack ontop of a previous loudness normalization or simply adjust the degree, as shown in the Normalization example?
Sorry, I'm new to using Audacity. Can Loudness Normalization be adjusted in the same way as Normalization? If I use loudness normalization to change the perceived loudness to -19 but then later decide to adjust it again to -23, is the audio going to affect the audio quality the more I adjust the perceived loudness or is it just like turning the volume up and down?
@@Ekatcarter Unlike Normalize, Using Loudness normalization multiple times can affect the audio quality. With Normalize effect, your audio can not be clipped or distorted. But Loudness normalization can introduce clipping. Hence, it is a bit risky to think of Loudness Normalization as just turning the volume up and down. If you turn up the volume much with loudness normalization, the audio data will go out of normal range and will be clipped and will be gone forever. There is no such fear with Normalize effect.
Hi, I'm putting together my own soundtrack for a computer game. Should I use loudness normalization or normalization so that the music in the game has the same level?
i mis the time before text to speach, really makes u feel removed from other humans when you need some help and u get some computer generated lifeless voice :(

I am not sure what you meant by "degree". Can you please explain a bit more?

Normalize, Compressor & Normalize. That should be the order. Loudness normalization is not required in most cases

Thanks for this helpful video, Dug from Up.

Good content but the speed and intensity of the AI voice over makes it nearly impossible to process in real time.
Thanks for the feedback. Will try to improve next time.
