They're all very tall now! The three Oyster Mushroom grow kits are on their 3rd and 4th harvest. Stay tuned because we also are waiting for the mushrooms logs to kick in (hopefully in a couple weeks). And the replacement kit for the one that got trichoderma is coming in the mail in a couple days. Woohoo! More edible mushrooms to come! ***** We may not be traveling right now, but we can grow magical treats inside the house! 🤩 Have you tried Lion's Mane Mushroom before? What's your all-time favorite mushroom to eat? Btw I'm filming another time-lapse in my closet. Can't wait to share it with you! 😄🎉
Mushrooms did wonders in my life. I was diagnosed with cptsd since my teenage, spent my whole life fighting cptsd. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with similar health challenges.
Congrats on your recovery. Most persons never realizes psilocybin can be used as a miracle medication to save lives. Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here
Can you help me with the reliable source. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Spain. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.
YES very sure of Dr.raymycology. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
Ive done shrooms last month in my house. It taught me how severely traumatized I was from alcohol. I healed from many mental traumas from my past and was able to forgive, let go. Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.l now have a more calm mind
To avoid a chewy consistency letting the mushrooms sweat their moisture almost completely before adding butter or oil will help tremendously. I put my mushrooms in a medium heat pan, not too hot or they burn. And let them sweat out, keep reducing until golden brown and water is evaporated. season, add butter and garlic. Bomb bomb 🤤
right. so very much energy, love and cute friendly energy, no wonder the mushrooms are happy. I found it very interesting that you Miss Mina could feel the mushrooms on your skin. My daughter has many allergies, and this is interesting.
Been watching mushroom videos ALL day since I got an oyster mushroom kit yesterday. This video is my favorite! So much enthusiasm. It's a little scary to think how much she spent on all those kits but I'm glad she did. Makes me want to try other mushrooms. Lion's Mane for sure.
I have a friend who grows mushrooms as he's a mushroom scientist (I forgot their names lmao), and what he does to like cook them and all, he doesn't take the root all the way out, he leaves a bit of the stem in the kits and they carry on growing.
You can usually use kits more than 1 time. If you have a sterile area you can grow the mushrooms in, you can even leave petri dishes out near the mushrooms as they grow and catch spores so you can start growing more. I started growing shiitake and oyster shrooms that way.
I left the stem bits in one time and they rotted so I had to make a bigger hole and chop off the rotting grossness so I could grow more, maybe certain mushrooms can grow from stem like u say
@@maridatweeb3509 would you describe the area a bit better and the process? I’m going to order some kits and would love to catch the spores. I have an empty room in my house to do it

Mushroom cooking tip: fry the mushrooms in the pan without oil first to reduce the water, then add oil. Adding oil right away traps the water in the mushrooms and makes them a bit more soggy

If you don't want the mushrooms to be chewy, first fry them on pan without oil, they will release water they contains. When the water evaporates, just add oil and spices, then the mushrooms will be soft and melt in your mouth. Enjoy your meal ;)

For people interested, I grew oyster just from cardboard. All you need to buy is the mycelium online, then get cardboard for free, mix and wet the carboard with the mycelium, then store somewhere near sunlight. Cheap, easy and effective method. I grew about 3 full grocery bags from one cardboard box stuffed with more cardboard. If you do decide to store them outside somewhere which can help because apparently mushrooms grow better with fresh air around, be weary of slugs; slugs ruined one of my batches which i ended up reusing to start a new one. Once the mushrooms grow out the carboard, just take the old white cardboard and mix with new wet carboard. Carboard is really good because It keeps the mushrooms wet.

I grew up eating canned/jarred mushrooms as a kid. I was obsessed with them to the point that when I finally got to have fresh mushrooms for the first time I was repulsed by the difference in flavor/texture. But a couple taste tests later and I could never go back. So when you get the chance to try them fresh, give it a couple shots because they're a completely different experience
You're my biggest inspiration Mina. It sounds so weird but when I was a teen (since 16) im watching your videos and you always motivate me exploring. Since your 6 months Asia trip im so thrilled during the same thing one day. You also made me wanna move to south korea. So when I was 18 I moved from Germany to seoul. Its been a year im here now and no regrets. You show so many varieties of a country and lifestyles I really love it. This video inspired me to explore nature more, get off the common path and I really wanna grow mushrooms too now hahaha. Anyway- thank you mina for giving me the chance to be the person I am now. Without your videos I wouldn't know where I would be today. Probably I wouldn't have had enough motivation for studying back in high school, I would just attend a normal unversity in Germany and I would never have become that explorer and foodie person I am now. Thank you mina ❤
Thanks Miss Mina, Loved the video. Currently growing a batch of home inoculated pink oyster mushrooms at home and all is going well. Mush-love hope you keep fueling the passions for the Fungi

I've been growing brown oyster mushrooms for a bit now, just getting ready to harvest tomorrow in fact. I've been watching this and getting a blast with the interactions between you and your mother. Obviously she did a great job with you. I'll wait for your next version. Take care.
I’d be cautious to grow mushrooms at home. I’d worry to get spores everyone and end up with mushrooms growing in my carpet. But boy did you make me want to try this, just maybe outside in the backyard somewhere. Also, I must say, watching you brings me so much joy. Your happiness is so very contagious. I’m so happy now. 😊 You are such a beautiful soul, and your mama is such a sweet lady too. Keep spreading your light girl, this world needs you. ❤️💕

🥰😊.... I love your Mama! She has a delightful, playful sense of humor. 😄😁
And I love your sense of adventure and curiosity Mina. You inspire me!
I've only tasted canned mushrooms but man, seeing these mushrooms makes me want to grow them too! I enjoyed evey second of this video 💕
@Madhav Ignihir I live in the Philippines. I think fresh mushroom is very rare here because I haven't seen any haha
Not to sound snotty but. If you have only had canned mushrooms then you havent really experienced mushrooms. I highly encourage you to try some!
I just want to update here, not that anyone cares lol. I've tried different types of mushrooms since last year. Loved it! ❤
Because of you, Ms.Mina, I am obsessed with this! I am looking forward to start growing myself. You're my inspiration, guide, and fun! Love you 😍
Miss. Mina, You are the BEST and most informative mushroom grower on UA-cam! Fantastic content!! Thank you!!
This is one of the best, most fascinating videos ever! I love mushrooms, and thank you so much for posting this!
Thanks Miss Mina, Loved the video. Currently growing a batch of home inoculated pink oyster mushrooms at home and all is going well. Mush-love hope you keep fueling the passions for the Fungi

Wow, amazing. I've been dying to grow medicinal mushrooms such as Lion's Mane and Cordyceps
I loved this video. I have wanted to grow mushrooms for a long time and now I can just pick the favorites from your adventure. Thank you Mina. GREAT Video!!!!
It's official. You've inspired me to try this in my home!
Did you like sign a contract to make it official or something
I’ve never seen a Mother so sweet, supportive, friendly and fun all in one person. She is kind and you are soo fortunate to have each other! Also you so remind me of Debbie of Debbie designs channel she paints furniture and does crafts. ❤. I want to try that! I think the lions main give energy?
