Thank you so much! We are booked in one of the forward facing cabins on a cruise in September, and I am definitely calling Carnival tomorrow to switch cabins. I don't have an issue with the crew smoking, I just prefer not to be just above all of it.
Thanks for the tour, we'll been in 8223 on the Celebration in April '23 and now I can see what the area around the cabin's patio area looks like. It appears there are air vents next to the exterior cabin, did you hear any noise from those?
@@mickthecarnivalcruiselinet1901 okay you so 👍🏽 here’s another question if you had to chose between ocean suites 9288 or 9284 I’m really want to choose between their balconies 😉 which one be the least noisy and not near the 💨 decks
Ok@ladarafrancois4251 both are close and above Chibang when you look at the deck plan, better to be above than below imho so I don't think either would be noisy and as good as each other. It would be a minimal difference, but I always say closer to midship is better...
Thanks for the lovely tour and the walk around. Did you find any downfalls to being the last balcony? I currently have one closer in booked with the two loungers past the gate but I see the room you had is available it might be the better choice and less ppl walking by. Did you feel like you were missing out by not having the two outside loungers that are past the gate?
Vicky we loved this cabin, we have it again on Celebration in December, you hit the nail on the head saying less people walking by, very quiet. We did not need extra loungers, less private anyway (just my opinion)
At end of video you walked through a door I was under impression was only a crew door. I just booked 8292 on Celebration. Hoping that will not be a door people not in Havana cabins walk through.
Susan, apologies for the late reply, I was in Sunrise, then went to the Celebration naming Ceremony. That is not a crew door, anyone can use it. There were some people not in Havana that walked through while we were on, but honestly not many, most were just checking it out and were gone quickly. Certainly not enough to bother us
Wow, those balconies don't really have good views of the water. It's good that people like you do these videos so everyone can see what you're going to get for your money you're money.
Deirdre the ones at the "front" do not.. and they are the expensive ones!!, plus the smell of cigarette smoke from the crew area in front can be strong!! the regular Havana Cabanas on the side are not bad, be just booked another one on Celebration in December

I totally understand, glad this helped!!
The best overall tour of the area I've found. Thank you.
Thank you, I appreciate that
Looks so amazing Mick! I cannot wait to book a cruise! Cheers and thanks for the lovely video!
Awesome, you know where I am :-)
Thank you for your tour. Taking my 17 yr old since hubby can't go. This will be his 1st cruise. I hope he loves it like I love cruising.
Kimberly, I am sure he will !!!
FYI - there is a covered power outlet in the bathroom. You can see it on the ceiling when you walk in to the bathroom near the mirror.
Good to know, thank you for that :-)
O man the Havana club on the vista is MUCH better. Hoping they fix this when they do jubilee! Thanks for the video, sir
I have not stayed in the Vista Class Havanas yet, I will on Horizon in Feb and I have heard from many people they are better!!

Ken, we heard no noise, and I heard no comments from others... but then I do do cheers :-)
What do you think 8250 Havana ?
I have not stayed in that cabin, but I like it's location....

Mick you are right - I liked the Havana on Vista / Panorama / Horizon more than on Mardi Gras.
I personally prefer the vista class on many levels :-)

Did they tell you the weight capacity of the swing?
I contacted an officer on board and they told me 300lbs fully clothed is the limit :-)
@@mickthecarnivalcruiselinet1901 Thanks!
FYI I was right around 300 when we did the Havana (on a different ship). I Had NO issues using the swing.
The fact they shrunk the pool areas is such a shame.
I agree, Vista Class Havana is much better!!
