Great Cabin Tour. We'll be on Jubilee next year and the Cove Balconies are really one of my favorites. They're private and being so close to the ocean is a plus.
Love the balcony & the room Kimbratt!🤘 I have never cared that the life boats were right above me. Such a non-factor. Like you said Matt, it blocks so much but still allows so much.🤘
Nice. I think we may give the cove balcony a try I don’t love being under the lifeboats but! I love being that close to the water. Decisions, decisions!!
Thank you for the best cove balcony tour on UA-cam! I hope you saw lots of flying fish. We just got off Carnival Horizon a week ago and enjoyed watching the brown boobies diving for flying fish from our 11th deck balcony. We have a cove balcony booked on Mardi Gras this winter and look forward to seeing it from that perspective!
Thank you. We missed out on flying fish, but we are in a cove balcony on the Horizon in a few weeks. You will love the Mardi Gras and the cove balcony room.
I am trying a Cove Balcony on our Sep 5th sailing on the Mardis Gras so I am looking forward to that "close to the water" feeling. Will be interesting to see what it is like at sail.
This is the same cabin my parents stayed in. We had 4 cove balconies. I did room tours on 5430 and 5462. There is an upper Pullman in this room. It sleeps up to 4 Carnival Mardi Gras July 31st great room tour "The 6 Traveling Shorts"
Thank you for the comparison. Looking at a cove balcony for the 1st time ever on the Mardi Gras, but the room seems so small! How did the rooms compare on her (reg. balcony vs cove)? I don't mind a small balcony, but I like room to stretch out in the cabin.
Just wondering how come some of the cabins you walk in the vanity and couch are first and the bed is close to the balcony door... but the one you are showing has the bed first then the sofa and vanity is by the balcony door just asking?.... Nice Cabin Tour
Hi, could you hear any noise from the deck above your room? There is a restaurant right above it I believe. Nice and convenient walk to the eating areas since only 1 deck up.
@@FintasticCruisingChannel Great! Thanks for the reply! I think we are going to go ahead and do that cruise. Canceling a Royal Caribbean cruise because they changed one of the ports and we are not happy with the new itinerary for the price.
The balcony was very comfortable. We enjoyed that it had some shade and would have added some protection from rain since the life boats were there. It can get a little muggy if it is really humid and hot and the ship isn’t moving.
Hi, for the balcony rooms if we just have 1 child and 1 adult do you think they will still allow a king bed with the sofa bed turned down, or do they only offer twins? Also, how was the noise level on deck 5? I know the restaurant and entertainment is on 6.
@@sonewhite6778 yes lower down more toward the back of the ship is better. Higher up and towards the front you get more motion. I have a lot of experience on USN ships and sea sickness lol
Thank you for focusing on the balcony and the comparison to another deck - really helpful!
Thanks for showing the nightlight! We always bring one and will not have to.
I love that bathroom light, that is good for those dark AM trips to bathroom!
Thank you for showing the sofa pull out! I’ve always wanted to see someone make it into a bed!
That was the best room tour yet! You showed where our daughter will sleep, the bed light and night light. Great tour
Thank you. We tried to be a little different and highlight what we thought was unique and important. It was my favorite cabin I’ve been in so far.
I’m so glad I booked a cove balcony I had no idea on the other ones you’d be looking down at other cabins 😂
thats why im about to book a cove too. I wish they had a havana/cloud9 cove balcony though

Thank you. We love that cabin style. Enjoy the jubilee :)
@@FintasticCruisingChannel Thank you as well. We definitely will enjoy that sailing.

It’s a great room
Yeah! Love it! I have a cove scheduled in August.
Thank you for sharing. We will have a cove balcony on the Jubilee in December and were researching it.
We love cove balconies
Me & Cindy thinking do this cruise in 2 years we get hold you later on Mardi great video
Nice. I think we may give the cove balcony a try I don’t love being under the lifeboats but! I love being that close to the water. Decisions, decisions!!
Nice cabin, really like the glass door for the shower. I like the modern look from previous ships. Small balcony but looked nice. Thanks for sharing
It was a fabulous view :D

We’ve never had a cove balcony..it looks nice …we need to try one sometime! Good room tour!
Thanks man. It’s great for watching creatures.

It is my favorite cabin type now. I hope you enjoy it :)
@@FintasticCruisingChannel I am going to be on one of the infinity balconies on the Edge for Thanksgiving. Really looking forward to that as well!
Thank you
Thank you so much sharing!!!
You are welcome
I didn't know cruise ship had Shower curtains until I cruised Carnival. So like the glass door.
They are really nice. Way better than curtains.

Nice. I love cove balconies.
@@FintasticCruisingChannel this was our first balcony we ever had
I bet it won’t be you’re last ;)

It has been a bit, but I don’t remember the interiors feeling that different in size. The balcony itself is the biggest difference.

That is a good question. I don’t know. It might be different types of balconies have slightly different amounts of space, but that is a pure guess. 🤔
HI! Nice tour! I noticed you had hats hanging on the wall. Are those magnetic hooks that you brought?
Yes, they are perfect for hats or other items that aren’t too heavy.
Hi, could you hear any noise from the deck above your room? There is a restaurant right above it I believe. Nice and convenient walk to the eating areas since only 1 deck up.
We did not have any issues with noise at all. :)

Did you have any trouble sitting on the balcony comfortably? I can’t wait to sit out on the balcony and have coffee
The balcony was very comfortable. We enjoyed that it had some shade and would have added some protection from rain since the life boats were there. It can get a little muggy if it is really humid and hot and the ship isn’t moving.
Where does the 4th person sleep? We are literally about to book this exact cabin but not sure now.
We didn’t point it out, but right above the couch there is a bed that drops down.
@@FintasticCruisingChannel oh good! Thank you!
@@FintasticCruisingChannel i was looking to see if you'd drop the pullman too.
I think the room steward has to do it.
We've been booked in 5422. Was your cabin quiet at night? Thanks!
When your sitting, is the balcony railing block your view ?
No, it has good visibility with the glass. Great view.

You can have the beds together and use the sofa or have them separated into two twins, your preference. We had zero issues with noise :)
How was the sail in room 5462?? I have one planned in August a few doors down and I’m terrified thinking I’ll be sea sick the entire time 😫😫
It was very smooth. The Mardi Gras is huge and the closer to the center and lower you are the less it rocks. You’ll be fine :)
@@FintasticCruisingChannel thank you ☺️

Good evening, how was the noise…was it unbearable?
No noise issues at all.
Thank you. I was very worried! Its my husband's first cruise and I want it to be special!
