About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

Having a metal band like Anthrax on this kind of sitcoms is just priceless.
The young ones with motorhead singing ace of spades is classic too.
I was going to like this comment but you can't F@#$ with the 333 👑
Marcy - "I'm Marcy"
Charlie - "Nice to meet you sir"
"i am a woman"
@@omersarcadeadventures2152 I thought She / Sir was the paperboy ?
@@bak-mariterry5180 only to Al
That part killed me 😂🤣🤣
@@omersarcadeadventures2152 lmfao that part is hilarious 😂
"It came out of the fridge, why is it hot "🤣
*”If it came out of the fridge, why is it hot?”
The song is called "In My World" in case anyone was wondering.
Thanks for letting us know.
Such a great song
I'm not afraid..
I'm not afraid..
Nothing touches me
I'm a walking razor blade
Face the face of fear..
Face the face of death..
I was wondering and thank you👍🏼
Yep one of my favorite tracks on Persistence Of Time!
"he's a rap star she's a genius and we're glad to be here"
glad not happy
Best line in that episode!
I love this episode and band! Happy to have been a teenager in the 80's also 😆
@Alon
He was speaking of their actors in real life, not their Characters.
"Nice to meet you sir"
Never gets old😂😂😂
Marcy is actually a very good looking boy, I mean woman.
Still cracks me up
Anthrax was my favorite band at the time, and Married With Children was my favorite show. I couldn't believe when they announced the band would be on the show. It was like a dream. I was counting the days till that episode first aired.
Wow I had no idea they were an actual famous band, that's cool
@@Filip-ko8wl **facepalm** 🤦♂
Same thing with me, I listened to belly of the beast all the time.
Frankie, 🤤 I loved it too! If u were in junior high and didn't know, Caught In A Mosh, u were lame.
I wish the other 3 bands from the big 4 showed up they coulda "rearranged" bundy manor real nice like
Kelly was really the epitome of a hair metal girl lol. She played it beautifully.
She based Kelly on a Metal Girl from Decline of Western Civilization.
Kelly Bundy was like a cross between an ‘80s video vixen and Curly Howard.
So hot seeing her headbanging
4:32 The way Amanda Bearse throws these objects is one of the funniest scenes of the show lol
Like some kind of geeky little squirrel hihi
Yeah, he's a rap star, she's a genius and we're glad to be here. One of the best lines in the series 👌
I love how every member of the band had a funny line. One of my favorite episodes
And every one of them executed perfectly. LOL
@@fleatactical7390 Yeah. I noticed that they knew when to wait for the laughs to die down before saying the next line. They were good.
@@HueyRocks23 Agreed. They could have probably all pursued careers in acting. Thankfully they stuck with a better, more cerebral form of art. LOL
That was icing on the cake. The episode just gets better over time.
“It came out of the fridge, why is it hot?!” LMFAO
"Let's get this little guys shovel and dig a tunnel outta here" 😂😂😂😂😂
Marcy somehow being involved in all of this just makes the scene.
The coolest that Marcy has ever been in her entire life.
Every family should have a mystery package in their fridge.
*pack
Classic! Anthrax Rocks! Kelly and Bud getting down! Marcy smashing things and Al's Trophy had me ROTF LMBO!!!!
'Awesome! Back in the day 'Indians' was my favorite Anthrax song . What a great episode.
Awesome song, I also liked Antisocial and Got the Time 🎸
@@henrythompson5224 Excellent choices. or how about 'I'm the man'
Today theyd be hung for that
@@henrythompson5224 antisocial is a cover

"If it came out of the fridge why is it hot?" 🤣🤣
Marcy trashing the place and rocking out is hilarious!
"its biting me"
Dan spitz could have been a comedian- good timing
FRANK'S FACE WHEN SHE PADS HIM DOWN I CANNOT
IKR It made me so wrhguioawhguiwrjgbiwohg
Yeah, like he’s thinking: "Get this whacky broad away from me" 😂
Thanks Mister 😂
"i see 50 people now,let's jam"😆🤘
I showed this to MY kids and told them, This is what daddy grew up on... I think there was a glimmer of respect I'd never seen before...
I forgot about that episode.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dan Spitz best guitarist Anthrax had 💪🤘 Awesome episode!!
I used to own Frank's "RIP" shirt back in the day. Lol
I met Dan here in London 17 years ago, he also is a expert trained watch maker or whatever the proper term is
Still miss Dan. He and Scott were AnthraX dynamic duo
It came out of the fridge, why is it hot. LMAO😂
One of the best episodes!
What seeion guys???
@@thomaslangton8593 S06E18
@@MeesNaguMuiste thank you
Dan Spitz wearing a Depeche Mode shirt. Lol
Wow the colors!
The end of the episode where they sing with Ed Burns😄
After being told that they are quarantined at the house by the EPA for six months. 😂
@@cityhawkWas it the EPA or was it the FDA? I could a swore it was the FDA.
@@MichaelD8393 It's the EPA. I've seen the episode several times. It's still one of my favorite episodes.
Never realized the one guitarist from Anthrax is shorter than Bud.
I think it's Danny Spitz. He is 5' 1 and Bud is 5' 3. Short dudes.
@@16nowhereman Spitz is 5'2, Bud is or was 5'4
Marcy is taller than Dan lol
The tallest person is Frank & he's only like 5'7".
@@rocknroller77 Reports say 5'1" is correct for Dan. His ex wife says he's even shorter. Whatever. Great guitarist either way.
One of the best concert I've been to was Anthrax 🤘
That was my first concert. State of Euphoria/Headbanger's Ball tour in 89 with Exodus & Helloween. 🤘
Metal forever!!!!! 🤘🤘
There's a chia pet in there lol
...and it's a meatloaf...Scott Ian married Meat Loaf's daughter Pearl years later.
"that *was* a meatloaf"
They left the part out where Al comes home and finds a guitar stuck in the wall.
And when they sing with Edd “Kookie” Byrnes.
@@Rbills02 That part was funny.
Frankie’s facial expression 😂
Like he's thinking: "Get this crazy broad away from me!" 😂
Nice to meet you sir 🤣
One of the best shows, along with one of the best bands. What's not to love
Cant get anymore 90s than this.
I had forgotten how much fun this was. Thank you
Kookie, Kookie, lend me your comb. Kookie, Kookie?
"You're the ginchiest!"
You know ..the character of Bud Bundy is perfect. He's like Al but inexperienced and optimistic. He has his wit and is slowly being disappointed by every aspect of the world. He will be like his father when he gets older.
Ed O'Neill said in an interview: David in the later seasons had the idea of Bud sometimes slightly imitading Al's manerism, like in real life many sons do based on their own fathers.
What a fantastic idea for a "reboot" sequel.....picking up on the kids nowadays.
That happens to many men.
This feels a lot like “The Young Ones,” but still fitting naturally into MWC. Great stuff.
One of the best episodes👍👍👍👍
I remember when Anthrax went on Married with Children because they said it was there favorite show at the time. Married with Children was huge in NYC area. You can tell from there voice all 4 band members are natives of Brooklyn. Except Joey from upstate NY he was the hungry one.
Usually the special guests aren't that funny but Anthrax was hilarious XD
Amanda Bearse is priceless in this scene!
I miss these days. It was a much better time before the internet was invented.
I love Anthrax. Considering they're a metal band. They did a pretty good job here.
Kelly's hair🥰
I'll never forget when that episode aired. I was looking forward to it all week.
This was one of the best episodes. The one where Bob Rooney got trapped in the wall was hysterical!
“Let’s get there early” you said. “We’ll be responsible” you said. “That dog would not wiz on my guitar” you said.”
Thumbs down for not showing Al come home and finding an Instrument in The Wall!
I hope Anthrax comes over my house and have a concert. Anthrax can trash my house too by throwing and breaking stuff up. It will be highlight of my day for sure!
Kelly and Bud are so funny
Frank getting felt up by Marcy
That's the part that's left out every time they show this episode on tv.
I love the way Marcy, Bud and Kelly rock out to the song lol!
Lol I like the way Marcy is kind of hesitant at first n then she sees the band breaking things n she gets up from the couch n starts breaking the Bundys stuff lol
"he's a rap star, she's a genius, and we're glad to be here"
2 of those are true, surprisingly
I remember this episode. I ran straight home that night so I wouldn't miss Anthrax rocking out the Bundys 🤘
I like what the drummer is doing with the drum set near the end of the clip. It's like he's throwing them around.
That 1991-92 season was peak MWC
Even dad won't eat the mystery pack.
“Nice to meet you sir” 😂😂😂
What a burn lol.
All approves it! 👍
Frank Bello-"Thanks Mister" lmao.
🎸 now partying with anthrax, totally the greatest of all episodes I think. also you will never see something like this again in television. Here is one of my favorite all-time episodes of married with children. I think they need to bring this back on air again,
I do miss watching it.
Great memories and great times back then
I am crying from laughter \,,/
Beyond classic. My favorite MwC episide. Anthrax + Ed Cookie Burns
Was FAF at the end of episode when they where singing at the end
OH MAN I REMEMBER THIS EPISODE
LMAO! One of THE best episodes, EVER.
Such a great episode
This scene completely broke me into the world of heavy metal! I've never looked back since, the k you Anthrax!
The mystery package.
Man I remember this when it aired.. Friggin ANTHRAX!!!!!
I love when dirt poor people on sitcoms lead interesting lives.
does dirt poor and lower middle class have the same meaning to us?
The episode that got me into Married with Children.
Ooh I see you have killers over 😅
0:39, 3:54, 4:44, 4:51 Kelly was great in this episode
Saw them at Christmas once awesome love them the chia pet meat loaf had me rolling in laughter
In the 80's I drove trucks for music tours. Anthrax was opening for Motley Crue and the production manager was British with a strong accent. About half way through load-in, it became obvious the stage hands couldn't differentiate between AMP RACK and ANTHRAX when he told them where to put equipment.
One of my favourite episodes.
Did anyone else notice the edit error? Scott knocks the trophy off the dresser at 4:31, but then it’s back on the dresser in time for Marcy to throw it at 4:41. Also, Kelly strumming Dan’s guitar at 4:50 is hot and adorable at the same time.
Rik Mayall from heaven: "Hey, I did it before with Motorhead, you baaaaastards!"
Vivyan: Nobody likes you, Rik.
Neil: Nobody likes me either.
Mike: I don't like any of you!
Rik: Hands up, who likes me?
(Everyone lowers their hands to the floor!)
Love The Young Ones!
One of the coolest and funniest scenes in married with children!!!Back when commedies were so funny abd also rock/metal was mainstream. Those were the times!!!
I love Rock music
Best episode ever, one of my fav bands in one of my fav shows.....it was amazing back in the day.....
It's a shame they don't play the whole song. It's still my favorite episode because Anthrax is on it.
Going to see Anthrax next month at Brooklyn bowl in Vegas. I always have to work when they come to town (which isn't often) and it will be my first time seeing them. The set lists I've seen for this 40th anniversary tour are amazing. I can't wait. Anthrax is The Law!!!
This has got to be my most favorite episode! Anthrax rocks!!
And now Charlie Benante playing the drums for Pantera!!
Priceless. Amazing
Haven't seen this in years. Thank you. 🤘
I was this many years old when I found out Scott did the intro for that song 😮
I miss good television
One of the funniest episodes! :D
3:54. Burned in my memory.
Your young and firm.Thanx mister.
Great cut again.
Wow Kelly 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I saw this when it first aired! I saw the description for it in the LA Times' TV listings (every major newspaper used to have one), and of course I had to tune in. Aaah my high school days!
Thrash metal on network TV. Young Fox Network was great.
IN!!! MY!!! WORLD!!!! such a great song from the album persistence of time
Ohh the good old days!
The 90's, when music was good and no one was offended by anything.
