Multi-Function Rifle & Pistol Reactive Target Stand

Here is a pretty simple multi-function DIY Reactive Target stand that has several ways in which it can be used.
- Hanging Cans,
- Resting Hanging Cans,
- Paper Targets,
- Spinning Targets,
- and as a general frame on which you can tack Cardboard to hang targets on.
The wood boards (1"x3"x8ft) were $1.50 each. It took two of them; 2x30" and 2x18" from each board. A bit of glue, a few screws, some Clothes Pins (50x$1), some finishing nails .... done. I pre-drilled the Clothes Pins, one hole just smaller than the finishing nail, and on the back side, the receiving side, I drilled the hole one or two sized bigger to make it easier for the Clothes Pin halves to mate together.
To find Targets, search Google-Images for FREE RIFLE TARGETS and hundred of them will come up. Simply pick a few types that you like and save them on your computer, and print them out when you need them.
If you don't have pieces of 3/4" Scrap to use as spacers for the base, a 1x2-8ft is only $1. See Part 2 where I replaced the coat hanger with a 3/8" Plastic/Fiberglass Rod.
Here is a rough Bill of Material for this project - (parts from Home Depot) -

In addition for the new revised version in Part 2, we have an additional $1.39 for a 3/8"x48" Plastic Rod and $0.73 for a "T" shaped 1/2" Plastic End Cap Intended for soft Plastic Tubing. This can usually be found one isle over from the more hard plumbing supplies. Other misc Parts - $1.50 for the 1/2" Cable Clamps, $1 for 50 Wooden Clothes Pins, $1.88 for a pack of 4 Large Spring-type Paper Clips. I think a large Cardboard Box similar to the one show in this video would be about $1.50 to $2.00 at Home Deport or Walmart. The Box in the video is 18" x 18" x 16" but that is the side of the functional box, not the size of the cardboard.
My first trip to the Home Depot for most of the boards, and nuts and bolts was on $8.50, from there forward is was just misc expenses.
My intend it that these reactive Targets are to be used with BB, Pellet, and .22 cal. I'm not sure how those cloths pin will stand up to the impact of a 9mm, but you are free to give it a try.
