What a detailed informative review! Thank you. I pick up a year-old D4 R-DESIGN Plus in this colour on Saturday in the UK. I cant wait now, after seeing your review here. I shall certainly be watching your more detailed reviews/guides over the weekend. Thank you Mike - stay safe. Keep up the great work.

The soft engine cover is not for sound insulation, its part of Volvo’s pedestrian safety, if you run someone over, it softens the blow.

Thx a lot for your fantastic reviews of the V60! In my opinion you should have a lot more "views"... .
If you have the chance pls. post sometimes an additional sub-review of the V60 hybrid (V60 twin engine or eAWD, however they call it) - there are currently very few reviews about the V60 T8 eAWD (hybrid) and I'm thinking about buying a T6 eAWD (the T8 eAWD is apparently already available but the smaller T6 eAWD only from end 2019) and I'd like to know how exactly the two motors (electric & petrol) interact/feel and what are the options to recharge the battery (I understood that the motor can directly recharge the battery, but doesn't have to, but apparently it tries to keep battery level at least above a certain minimum amount, but I'm not 100% sure so there is a certain amount of confusion...) and if there are any other differences compared to the "normal" V60. Cheers.

Hello MikesCarInfo, your video is really nice, I have known many details about the v60 through it. And I will be glad if you can share me some of the driving experience of this amazing wagon. I have taken a test drive of XC60 last week, I felt the accelerator pedal of it was so light to push comparing to the X3. And the noise of the engine also disturbed me little bit. How do you think about the v60 in those aspects? Thanks a lot.

maybe this is news to you but most big companies are owned by shareholders from all over the world, therefore the important things are "where are the decisions and designs made" and maybe "where is it built" in some cases. Decisions and designs are indeed made in Sweden and it's built in a number of places, USA being one of them...
