I happened upon your channel by accident this morning. I love your gentle style, and when you became aware you had your sweater on backwards, you felt like a long-lost friend. I am now subscribed!
Another first timer from SE Wisconsin! Enjoyed your childhood memories very much and your sweater is gorgeous! My parents were raised in western WI near Seneca and Eastman.
You know, I've never been to Seneca or Eastman. When I go downriver I generally stick to Highway 35. I'll have to take a different way home sometime and take a look!
Hi Annie, You dropped in my recommendations for podcasts, and I hit the bell and subscribed. You are so sweet. I love your relaxed, natural way of sharing your love of creating. I love the room you are in, so warm and inviting. Loved your childhood memories, too! Xoxox ~Kimmie From Connecticut
First time watching, so enjoyable. Love your sweater, beautiful color choices and it just looks beautiful on you. Thanks for the inspiration I love Stephanie’s patterns, very well written. I’m sold. Will be my next sweater prob long sleeve for fall. Enjoyed your podcast so much. Cheers
I ran across your podcast and love it! Love your sweater and the colors are wonderful. I live in the western part of Texas close to New Mexico so the colors are very southwest feeling to me. I am going to watch all of your previous episodes and will have a very relaxing weekend and enjoy you as my new friend.
Greetings from South Australia. The ads have increased on youtube on all videos flooding youtube. The only way to stop them is for the subscriber to pay for "ad free viewing". Or yourself, which isnt viable financially. Superwash fibre had been stripped from its natural state along with its natural cuticles by harsh chemicals. Becomes very smooth to touch. Giving the look of cotton. Cannot see the point of knitting DK wool for summer, too hot, unless a lacy lace weight. I walked around a French town and into a cafe wearing a top inside out. 😂
I just found your podcast, and I love it very much ❣️ I immediately subscribed and am going to watch your earlier podcasts! Thank you, and lots of warm greetings from Denmark.
Annie, I love the colors in your sweater, and it’s short sleeve design. I know how hard it is to divide yourself between knitting and accomplishing all your summer activities. I swim in our local lake as soon as the ice melts and the water warms up a bit! Great exercise. I so appreciate your easy listening podcasts!
Enjoyed your video. I liked and subscribed. When I am weaving in ends on a sweater, I do a half hitch using several strands on the back neck below the ribbing. Then I unply them to make a small, soft tuft. That way, I know at a glance which is the back. BTW, dos tierras means Two Lands. Two rivers would be Dos Rios.
Hi Bonnie - yes, I realized I goofed on Dos Tierras - twice! The first time I mentioned it I said it was from Knit Picks. I have Rios on my mind right now because I'm knitting a sweater in Rios, that is a very old UFO and just needs to be done already! I like your idea for marking the back - even those homemade or personalized labels annoy my neck, so a tuft or contrast yarn loop or something similar would be very helpful. Thanks for watching!
Simple pleasures are the best! My childhood summers were very simular to yours. So many good memories. I hope we get a rain shower here in New Hampshire today, so very hot here today.
Gorgeous sweater you knit: You look amazing in it! Yep, simple pleasures of summer are the best! I pulled all the weeds out of just-rained soil yesterday & it made me so happy. Weird, huh?! I know...😅 It's a dishcloth & matching towel, facecloths knitting season for me this year 🥰❤️🧶
Just found you, and like the content. You absolutely deserve more subscribers. I have an addblocker, so no adds at all! I love colorwork, and think your sweater is beautiful, amazing color combination. I hardly do summer knits, because I am always cold, so when it gets really warmed up here in The Netherlands, I just put a store bought cotton t-shirt on.
Hello! 👋🏾 Across the river in Red Wing, MN. 😊 Where do you like to shop for yarn in your area? I’m always on the lookout to support small local independent shops.
Quiet times are very precious times, knitting, doing other things crafts help. Love your peaceful podcast

Tell UA-cam to stop all the ads…in 16 minutes there were already 3 ads! Your sweater is very pretty !
I did try to stop them - I will keep working at it. Thanks for keeping me updated.
