Thank you, Anthony. Your presentation is crystal clear, to me. Liberating as well, for in my observations of people I'm often judgmental, wanting them to be different, as in better functioning. Aware of their actions, responsible, conscious. My feeling superior places me on a lonely spot, also feeling unnoticed, unseen in my ambition, which is in essence a form of control, a fixed form projected on others, like a law written in stone. Rigid. (very confrontational, this!) Instead, working and being with "what is" in the present moment, allows for acceptance of what is, which is empty of the pressure to want someone to change, and be different. Creating friction, causing a fear reflex, and resistance. Your presentation helps me to realise why I bump against "wanting others to behave differently" and truly feel the emotion of separating myself from others, by stepping on that superiority pedestal. Knowing better... Ouch! It's the melting in surrender to "what is" , feeling the deep longing for harmony, and peace, that brings me to tears now. The ability to change beckons me, not others, not the external world. This inner fight consumed me, these last weeks, and your presentation helped me to see myself in honesty, breaking through the frustration. Muchos gracias 🙏👋👩🌾

I've enjoyed, and learned, important insights by physical experiencea, during Alexander therapy. Regarding the teacher-student/client relationship, isn't it usually made clear in advance what the role is of the one working with a student or client? So that, even when a fear-reflex shows up in the receiver, this person has a chance to observe, instead of identifying with that reflex, and even communicate what's observed, so that the integrity of allowing the teacher/practitioner is undisturbed? Fear holds both emotional response and information. The latter, when observed and shared, will increase the quality of the work, which is a surrender to being in trust with someone whose working on the student/client body invoked that fear-reflex. The sting will be removed, so to speak. Does this makes sense? 👋🧙♀️

I could hear this video more clearly than many of your others. Great job capturing audio in this one. And it was a very interesting topic.

Yes. I think you have a good grasp of how things work. Thanks for sharing.
The audio is only in the right side
Just a note for the uploaded if they see this, the reason for this is that your videos audio is in mono. Needs to be in stereo.
