Hello again! I would appreciate if you let me know if I can use my Photoshop brushes (that I use in my Adobe Photoshop on my laptop) in these apps that you suggest for this tablet!
Great tablet for basically everything. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxLNmVocUk8tnSkwWIlYSNFzWRIaFTBuzS I bought it specifically for art, and that 4k screen is really fantastic for it! Also has LOUD audio, even tho the speakers aren't in necessarily prime locations it really projects! You do need to get a case for this bad boy IMMEDIATLY though as it doesn't come with one.Battery life is really good! Standby time us FANTASTIC. This guy can go about a week on standby and be just fine. The screen is massive so the longer you have the screen on, brightness especially, it will effect battery life. I am very happy with it though! One thing that I didn't consider is that since the screen resolution is so high, viewing ticktocks/ reading webtoons can be slightly blurry. There is no way to turn down resolution either, so it just be like that.Would still judge this bad boi at 10/10 for my first tablet. I've had it 3 months now and its not shown any evidence of "slowing down" or anything. Love it!
Most of these comparisons are made to flagship models, either Apple or Android's S6. If the buyer already has experience with these devices, why would they go backward? On the other hand, I'd a buyer was coming from a 2011 Nexus 7, the S6 lite would be a sophisticated, multifeatured rocketship. This is your real audience, as opposed to fanboys who savage devices in order to appear astute. What is important is ease of setup and importing Google data, speed of the device, current software, connectivity and battery life.
Just bought this coming from a Nexus 7 2013 that I hadn't even been using for three years. You nailed it: I just want a good companion to my main workhorse laptop, this will be more than "just fine".
Agreed, this is why some of those tech youtubers who are used a latest iPhone or Galaxy S flagship are pretty cringy when they review a mid range device. You oughta do a review based on the context of the device (price x performance/features/etc) not on how it relates to another device that cost 2 or even 3 times.

Super detailed video. Thanks for your overview. I'm buying this tablet to study and take notes. I'll do some drawings eventually, but nothing as pro as your artwork. Thanks again. Keep up the good job.
Fantastic review. I received my s6 Lite a few days ago and it is amazing. Especially for drawing. If you treat it like it's a tablet then it's perfect. Thank you for introducing the Concepts app to me. I'm impressed there are actually 4 spots you can magnetize the pen to. Very convenient. I had to import it into Japan, but well worth it. For portability, lightness, ebook reading, illustrating is fantastic.
I really don't know which one to order: ipad 8 10.2 or s6 lite. They're about at the same price but ipad have better resolution while s6 including the pen. What was your consideration while choosing? Did you considered between 2 of them?
@@yuliaweiss9394 hi, ooh I considered both. I spent weeks researching as I wanted the best. (I used to work as a programmer so wanted the perfect machine for me). I went s6 Lite because of price and the features were what I needed. The ipads I owned/ i-devices battery ran down really quickly. I have to keep replacing them. Plus the tech gets outdated so quickly, you feel you need to buy another one in a year or two. It's expensive when it comes to it plus very wasteful with the materials having to replace that often. I've had 3 galaxy phones and the last S7 model lasted 4 years, still works well, but I upg'd to s10 now also. I've had a lot of galaxy products I trust their tech. (I also have some i-devices which just sit on the shelf). The S6 lite also has expandable MicroSD which I think is vital for backing up. It also had the a 3.5mm audio jack. The other thing was I've seen the apple pencils from my friends and they keep breaking them, plus all the adaptors you need makes it so pricey. My friends often lose their charger or something breaks then it's another $100. I wanted tech that lasts. I mainly use Google apps for work, also I transfer files to the PC often so Android is a lot better with that. Drag and drop. But if you need certain iPad apps for work/school then go ipad. If you want a computer-tablet and money is not an issue then the Galaxy tab S7 is a lot better, it's more a computer. But for me I only wanted a high functioning tablet for illustrations, taking notes etc. Plus also the weight of the s6 lite is lighter than the other bigger tablets. The bigger ipads are heavier and for drawing outdoors it is not that good. Those are too heavy for me, I can just bring my 15" drawing laptop instead. Also in the past it was hard to find cool Android cases/accessories. It used to only be the ipod market. Since recently galaxy is doing so well there are a lot of accessories you can buy these days. I think is stands out more. A lot of programmers like the Android system. More geeky in a cool way. The s6 lite doesn't have a lot of ram so if you need something that does extreme computing, You might need to spend more. If you have any other questions let me know. :) Happy to help.

Great, in-depth review! Also, I'm a bit jealous of your ability to make drawing look so easy. It would take me hours or a full day just to do the image you did in this video. Haha. Mine comes in tomorrow (got it at $279 on sale), due to this video. I'm thinking I will love it, as I'm using it just for art.
I have mine coming in tomorrow, after agonizing over whether to get this (because of budget $279 price on sale) or the 8th gen base iPad. Tell me I made the right choice, even if I didn't. 🤣
I tried a demo unit at a mall. The display looks like it has a gray filter. Even at the highest brightness setting the display still looks a bit dark. If you're used to looking at a phone with a high density amoled display then you will notice the grayness and pixelization. If you don't mind the noticeable pixels then this may be a good tablet for you. I wish Samsung uses amoled displays on their midrange tablets the way they do on their midrange phones.
I only wanted a quick detailed review but I ended staying for the whole review because it was just so informative! Loved the video and happy to join your subscribers! :)
It went on sale at that big box store for $279. I use the s pen to draw and am very pleased so far. The s pen full size but my other s pen is like a chopstick. Works great!
i keep thinkinhg to buy this tablet, bc it's hard for me if i was on insomnia and want to draw and i have to open my laptop and wacom. thank you for the review
I don't have a wacom. I got a screen-less Parblo A610. I am planning to get this. Input lag is the only thing which worries me but I guess it won't be that bad when you can see the line at least. But I also game on my phone and I wish I could do same on this at decent speed.
Wow, I have a lot to learn. You are truly informative. I got my Samsung s6 lite a few days ago. I love to draw, but I am a little rusty. I will have to download these different apps. I can't thank you enough! I never drew digitally only manually, even though I have Serif.

I replaced my iPad air 2019 with this tablet for several reasons, including price (the price for the iPad air with the pen is about 900$ here with a student discount). T he higher resolution display doesn't mean much bc i watch UA-cam in 1080p anyways (there are even still some 720p videos out there) movies and shows on Netflix and similar streaming services... Are also 1080p or even 720p depending on the package (not really worth it for me to pay premium for those extra pixels a month) . In day to day use the resolution doesn't mean much as long as it is full hd (720p 10" tablets are a bit grainy). The pen is included on the Samsung device and it comes with a rubber tip which i like more than the plastic one on the iPad which slides too much when drawing making it hard to draw precisely. There are mat screen protectors for the iPad that give grip when drawing but they also increase the rate at which the tips need to be replaced (more friction)... All in all the iPad is a stronger more expensive device but it doesn't really offer any advantages for me and it has disadvantages like no USB C, the pen needs to unicorn charge, accessories are expensive, data transfer is hard (bc no USB C)... Samsung hits all these things and so far I haven't noticed any performance hickups especially with android 11 and the Samsung Dex support
You do really good work. I am not an artist. I bought the s6 lite just to learn more about using the pin and note taking. Also to grow with teck as it grows. Thank you. You are good at drawing. I like your work and your video.
The display looks beautiful for it not to be super AMOLED display and for the resolution to only be at 2000. I don't know why people are complaining this looks like a decent tablet. Love the sleek design on the S pen.
Thanks for the review! I'm currently using a Wacom Bamboo CTH460 but it's getting a bit laggy sometimes (Well... I've been using it for 8 years or more haha so no complains). I've never used a screen tablet so far, and your video helped me! I'm thinking about getting one :) You also got a new subscriber, I like the way you do your reviews, and the calming energy you have when you talk !
I will get this tablet i wanted to get back into drawing after so many years and i used pencils and paper for a while, but with this technology out there its so much better drawing more comfortably and not having every light on is a win.
Compared to the tab I'm using (Galaxy Tab A old version), that's quite an improvement, especially with storage capacity. Though I ought to wait for that one until then. It's in my wishlist.
I wonder if I could draw really well on the glass. Due to many hours bored at school I would draw on my desk which didn't have a texture and I came to prefer it over actual paper.
You get rubber tip with it, you will feel different for a day or two then you will get used to it, well it has more grip than apple pencile tip to be specific
Amazing review as always! I need to ask you something, if you have to choose between samsung galaxy tab s 3 and tabs 6 Lite which one is better for artist?
I think the Tab S6 Lite will handle web browsing perfectly fine if it had less tabs opened. Remember, this is a 4 GB Ram Tablet only. Plus you shouldn't even open that many tabs anyway. Keep it minimal and organized. Close tabs that are not necessary.
Great review. I really love the portability and that the pen is included but ultimately decided to get a pen display with a larger drawing area. I'm going to hold out and save up for an iPad Air or Pro later on for drawing on the go. I haven't been in the Apple ecosystem for nearly a decade and kind of want to go back.
Hello. Loved the video. Is there a good screen protector you or someone else would recommend to don't impact on the sensibility of the pen. As you said, you need to get used to but I fear buying a brand that could really mess the pen experience. Ty in advance.
Im getting the tablet in maybe 3 monthes Watching this video makes me kinda "nervous" but i guess the tablet is gonna be good for me especially cuz I trust Samsung devices!
it's possible that by then samsung releases the s7 tab lite (around june) , it won't make the s6 tab obsulete but if you can and the price is not going to be that different I'd say to check it out!

Aslam Khan, no it doesn’t, at sometimes you can see slight lag, but not really
Bought myself one too, and it is just amazing.
I have mine coming in tomorrow, after agonizing over whether to get this (because of budget $279 price on sale) or the 8th gen base iPad. Tell me I made the right choice, even if I didn't. 🤣
@@dejecteddave5380 sooo how did it go?
if my current android tablet decides to kick the bucket i might consider this as a replacement.
I'm supposed to be getting mine tomorrow. So stoked. Thanks for the great review :)
Thank you! I'm glad i found this video, since I'm most likely getting one soon. Wishing you the best of luck!
I absolutely love your drawing style
I tried a demo unit at a mall. The display looks like it has a gray filter. Even at the highest brightness setting the display still looks a bit dark. If you're used to looking at a phone with a high density amoled display then you will notice the grayness and pixelization. If you don't mind the noticeable pixels then this may be a good tablet for you. I wish Samsung uses amoled displays on their midrange tablets the way they do on their midrange phones.
Great full review; definitely interested in getting one!! Love drawing on paper but gotta take a jump on this on tablets!
This was super super useful. Very cute illustration of your daughter too. Thank you so much for this 💛
I only wanted a quick detailed review but I ended staying for the whole review because it was just so informative! Loved the video and happy to join your subscribers! :)
you are amazing! Maybe the best review on youtube.
It went on sale at that big box store for $279. I use the s pen to draw and am very pleased so far. The s pen full size but my other s pen is like a chopstick. Works great!
Finally one video which literally clarified all my doubts!!!! Thank you!!!!!
i keep thinkinhg to buy this tablet, bc it's hard for me if i was on insomnia and want to draw and i have to open my laptop and wacom. thank you for the review
I don't have a wacom. I got a screen-less Parblo A610. I am planning to get this. Input lag is the only thing which worries me but I guess it won't be that bad when you can see the line at least.
But I also game on my phone and I wish I could do same on this at decent speed.
such a heart-warming doodle heheh
Thank you for the review! I'm confident that I'll be getting the right tablet now :)
Your daughter is adorable, I love your drawings! Thanks for another awesome review. I'm on the fence iPad vs Samsung. This is super helpful.
Wow, I have a lot to learn. You are truly informative. I got my Samsung s6 lite a few days ago. I love to draw, but I am a little rusty. I will have to download these different apps. I can't thank you enough! I never drew digitally only manually, even though I have Serif.
What a great review ! I just bought tab so lite I agree with u zoom has a lag. I notice that right away. I haven't dont drawing on it yet. Just amazed by your art work. Great video.
This is one of the best reviews out there............!!!!
Great review. Being on the budget side of things you go me convinced.
Get the 2022 model
Thanks for spending huge effort on making this video. Must watch for those who are buying tab s6 lite for S Pen

Great contents, sir!
Been binge-watching your videos..Everything I wanted to know is in here, in your channel!
btw, awesome drawing style!
Thank you for all the advice your follower and your friend from Iraq
I replaced my iPad air 2019 with this tablet for several reasons, including price (the price for the iPad air with the pen is about 900$ here with a student discount). T
he higher resolution display doesn't mean much bc i watch UA-cam in 1080p anyways (there are even still some 720p videos out there) movies and shows on Netflix and similar streaming services...
Thank you for another great review, Teoh!
This review is very helpful i ordered one because of this review, thanks for the info
Did you buy this in the end?
@@rohygge9671 not yet... since COVID started everything got expensive in my country :(
Alright, I'm buying this, thank you...🔥
I think you make the best review videos!
Glad you like them!
I will get this tablet i wanted to get back into drawing after so many years and i used pencils and paper for a while, but with this technology out there its so much better drawing more comfortably and not having every light on is a win.
Awesome review. The best on UA-cam!
almost got me there @16:13
Compared to the tab I'm using (Galaxy Tab A old version), that's quite an improvement, especially with storage capacity. Though I ought to wait for that one until then. It's in my wishlist.
Excellent review it helped me decide on s6 lite vs more expensive tablets.
Honestly, i skipped straight to the conclusion and bought purely off that.
I just trust men with accents on technical stuff idk why
My tab also s6 lite.... Nice..
TQ for your inputs sir 👍🙏
I'm thinking of getting into drawing and I was gonna buy this tablet anyways so might as well try lol
U can use krita now on it so thats one of my fav drawing apps
@@cedrichabschi7312 works krita good with that tablet?
@@tinysmardy its a beta rn its ok but they make it better every week i think.
Its gonna be better soon
Whether the s-pen is properly working with screen protector or not?
Can anyone give me any suggestion?
Thank you for the nice and full review, love your drawing sir. I think i'll buy this one since the ipad is too expensive
Thank you very much for such a detailed review!
A perfect review, THANK YOU!
best review out there, thank you
Samsung Tab S6 Lite guess i can live with it try draw one her every day
I wonder if I could draw really well on the glass. Due to many hours bored at school I would draw on my desk which didn't have a texture and I came to prefer it over actual paper.
You get rubber tip with it, you will feel different for a day or two then you will get used to it, well it has more grip than apple pencile tip to be specific
Great analysis and review!
Wonderful video as always 😊💞
I never regretted watching your videos
Fantastic video. Really helpful 😃
Amazing review as always! I need to ask you something, if you have to choose between samsung galaxy tab s 3 and tabs 6 Lite which one is better for artist?
I just need a decent sized screen to sketch out ideas for my logos I make on my computer so I don't think I need a super expensive tab, getting this!
Very good honest review. Thanks for sharing
I think the Tab S6 Lite will handle web browsing perfectly fine if it had less tabs opened. Remember, this is a 4 GB Ram Tablet only. Plus you shouldn't even open that many tabs anyway. Keep it minimal and organized. Close tabs that are not necessary.
Should ain't is.
This is truly informative ☺💚💚 thanks so much
Hello. Loved the video. Is there a good screen protector you or someone else would recommend to don't impact on the sensibility of the pen. As you said, you need to get used to but I fear buying a brand that could really mess the pen experience. Ty in advance.
Just get a clear screen protector. Any brand will do. Check Amazon for reviews
Can you do a video suggesting watercolor books for beginners?Would highly appreciate !
I recommend "Watercolour for the Absolute Beginner"
Hello thank you for this video alot of effort my aunt bought me that tablet im not like a artist but im willing to learn
Thank you for your review. Does Samsung tab s6 lite has an option to make a video while of you drawing!
thankyou for the video!!💜
Im getting the tablet in maybe 3 monthes
Watching this video makes me kinda "nervous" but i guess the tablet is gonna be good for me especially cuz I trust Samsung devices!
it's possible that by then samsung releases the s7 tab lite (around june) , it won't make the s6 tab obsulete but if you can and the price is not going to be that different I'd say to check it out!
@@duartefonseca4908 Tech sites recently claimed the Samsung tab s7 FE is nearly twice the price of an s6 lite, I don't think that's worth the price if its primarily just used for art. Especially when you could get a better tablet in the s7 for around the same price now that it's less expensive, albeit slightly smaller for not much more there is the s7+.
The s6 lite seems to be the best option if primarily used for art on a budget.
@@JoshManMate oh the s7 fe will be the lite? honestly I was gonna buy the s6 lite and then heard about the s7 lite or fe and if it's gonna be almost double the price of the s6 lite then Ig I'll just buy the s6 lite
Thank you! Beautiful child. I'm taking back the a7 and getting so lite.
