I BEAT JUDIT POLGAR!!!!!

- This was arguably the most insane moment of my life: I got to play THE Judit Polgar in a 8 chess board simultaneous exhibition in the National Gallery in Budapest, Hungary on September 17th, 2024. This is that story. I sincerely hope you enjoy.

The type of thoughts I have when I play with the black pieces
@@thechessnerd lol i thought it was actually a hate comment, my bad 😅
Guys please have some faith in humanity !
This was a friendly game, with Judit Polgar, and an unique opportunity for viewers to partcipate in a game against her !
This is the concept that chat could participate and help !
Of course viewers can cheat and use engine, but there would have been no point. Let me explain why it was legit :
They were only a few people in the chat, we knew all of them and their chess strengh. They were some titled players helping a lot.
Also have you seen the quality of the game? It was far from perfect. I'm pretty sure it was all legit !
I think few people have been banned (like 1 or 2) but we never played the moves they suggested.
I joined late in the stream, so I decided to not participate and just watch the game with engine. I did not suggest any moves of course or said anything about the game. And it was very fun to watch !!
It was not some random names saying the best moves or the evaluation everytime without explanations, it was real people thinking about the game ! And it was amazing !!
Very well done by all participants in chat and to our streamer Zach ! Congratulations !!!
I guess the "WE" means that I also won, because I watched the video :-) Thank you for the analysis and coverage of the event.
@@TheChessTheoretician Idk, but in this case it made sense because his viewers on Twitch were helping him move
You did us proud! Very nice description of the setting. So, the faulty castling proved your twitchers weren't cheating. Enjoyed your analysis. The atmosphere showed the fun, and no combative, aggressive mood. I loved the teamwork. Luckily, you're great at end games.
Thanks for sharing good trip. Frankly, no way Judit did not see Nxe6 at opening. She did not want to end exhibition in 10 movies 😊
🤔
It's cute that your chat pulled a chess prank on you by making you play the Karpov CK; truly a chess nerd community :P
loved seeing it live on stream and trying to contribute. gg.
Chat is using engine obviously
if used engine then there wouldn't be mistakes and inaccuracies fgs 💀
@@sp_dafit ever heard of closet cheating?
Many times the 2nd or 3rd best moves are mistakes or inaccuracies, @@sp_dafit
@@aytyoutube-clashroyale2327 Its possible but then they would have to coordinate on which moves they were cheating on. Also, the early castling move completely swung the eval bar in favour of white, and Judit could have easily won the game if she had found the correct move.
@@Romans8-9yeah and its an easy sacrifice to find too…
WOOW. This is some serious achievement Zach. Amazing!
Congratulations, she also looked good.
I beat the 2017 Latvian Women Champion in bullet. Felt great
Stockfish beating Judit. I'm not even going to watch this shame
so fr
his chat played so much bad moves. bro they literally played the worst move in castling in the opening. you just didnt watch the videop
Amazing Zach keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍

Its all over your comment😏
We need to avoid alien gambit as much as possible, and the Martian gambit, that’s why I think they did that
Bro changed the video's title from We beat to I beat😂
Judit did not disrespect you with that knight opening. She was giving you a chance to win. Back in the day we would spot our opponents a queen or rook. Same thing.
CONGRATS MY GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO HAPPY FOR YOU
That was the coolest video I've seen from you 🎉
Real interesting, beautiful game .
Great video, fun to watch and very educational
cant the viewers check the engine and tell you what move to play?
well you'll have to trust them for that
Yes, thats what happened
Chessnerd what's your fischer number now
1?
Cuz u beat Judit
Judit beat Bobby I think
great win zach
Judit Polgar just did the Alien gambiitttt!!!!
Alien Gambit Polgar variation

Congratulations
Bro I want to play with you
damn gg
Yay 😁😁. ❤ you both..
28:04 isn’t Bd5 the best move?
You look like Alireza's brother . Are you Alireza brother?
28:56 Qb1? Good way to sac a queen for nothing.
do not understand potential knight g3 line 17:25? Why cant pawn just take?
@@tomtsu5923 discovered attack on the rook, so if white takes knight then the rook is hanging
no it isnt@@sp_dafit
33:01 Rg1 was weak. Rooks have better things to do than defend pawns. In this position, it should be defending white’s king.
When will you go for a title?
coo; vid. good stuff!
24:57 b4 is a losing move.
New sub here
2:58
C5😡😡😡😡😡 BETTER
22:09 fxg please.
19:29 No way, dude. Qg2 was the best move. Here's why:
Analyzing Qg2 vs Qf3:
Attacking Power:
Qg2 applies more direct pressure on White's king position.
It threatens the f2 pawn more severely than Qf3.
King Safety:
Qg2 forces White's king to remain on b2 or move to a1, both uncomfortable positions.
From g2, the queen controls the g-file, which could be useful if Black wants to open lines against White's king.
Piece Coordination:
Qg2 works well with Black's bishop on e6, creating a powerful diagonal.
It indirectly supports the possibility of ...b5, as White's king can't easily move to c3.
Defensive Considerations:
On g2, the queen is slightly less vulnerable to attacks from White's pieces compared to f3.
It's harder for White to challenge the queen with moves like f4 or Re3.
Future Plans:
Qg2 keeps more options open for Black. The queen can retreat to f3, h3, or even h1 if needed.
It puts more pressure on White to find a defensive plan, potentially forcing weaknesses.
Psychological Factor:
Qg2 is a more aggressive and threatening move, which could put additional pressure on White.
19:29 No way, dude. Your analysis makes no sense. Here's why:
Analyzing Qg2 vs Qf3:
Attacking Power:
Qg2 does not apply more direct pressure on White's king position.
It threatens the f2 pawn the same as Qf3.
King Safety:
Qg2 does not force White's king to remain on b2 or move to a1, both uncomfortable positions.
From g2, the queen controls the g-file, which is not necessarily more useful than Qf3 if Black wants to open lines against White's king.
Piece Coordination:
Qg2 works well? with Black's bishop on e6, creating a non-existent diagonal.
It does not indirectly supports the possibility of ...b5, as White's king couldn't easily move to c3 anyways (since there's a pawn there).
Defensive Considerations:
On g2, the queen is slightly less vulnerable to attacks from White's pieces compared to f3.
It's harder for White to challenge the queen with moves like Re3 (which still hangs a pawn but technically you are right here).
Future Plans:
Qg2 keeps more options open for Black? Both queen can retreat to h3, or even h1 if needed.
Both moves put pressure on White to find a defensive plan, potentially forcing weaknesses.
Psychological Factor:
Chess moves are not aggressive or psychologically threatening based on how close they are to the opponent's side of the board, but based on the threats that they impose.
Overall I'm a little confused on a lot of your points, so if you would like to elaborate on what you mean, feel free to do so. I'm not saying Qg2 wasn't the better move, just not for the reasons you outlined. Also usually chess players support certain moves based on calculations that they made, which I see none here.
"We"?!
These comme ts are the absolute worst- Do people even bother watching the video before commenting? This sounds like a fun event- The chessnerd twitch community seems to be pretty strong 😁. Well done!
Good video❤❤❤
i dunno man...shouldn't have used chat... some moves are so sus

How did the other teams do?

Winning with the help of a 3700 elo chat is not something you should be proud of. Technically, ANY outside help is considered cheating, so in any case, you, by definition, cheated. Congratulations.
